Jake was very prompt in getting back to me after I left a message with the answering service, and was able to set up an appointment for the next day. He arrived WAY before the scheduled time which was a nice plus! We had a complicated kitchen sink clog that required a good bit of problem solving, but Jake was professional and explained every step of the process. I recommend these guys for your rooter plumbing service. We had an overflow in the basement that turned out to be a clog near a slight belly in the pipe. It was refreshing to have a technician offer their expert advice that doesn't include more services or products. Rich told me sometimes these things happen and might never happen again. Also he gave me a timeframe to watch out for repeat problems saying THEN, we might need to do some excavating. The gentlemen were professional, kind and efficient and tolerant of excitable dogs. I appreciate the prompt, efficient service I got from Guaranteed Rooter. I called with a stopped main drain line at about 11 on a Thursday morning. David was at my door about 90 minutes later and the line was cleared within the hour; he attacked the roots of my problem with a chewing tool on a mighty snake and the tub and toilet were back in business just like that. The cost was competitive, the response excellent, the technician courteous and professional. David promised they'd be back in two months for a free follow-up if the problem recurred under normal use. Our septic line was backing up. I called on Saturday to set up something for Monday. (I'm too cheap to pay overtime rates!) They told they could itMonday but that the schedule was busy. They checked in 3 times to to tell they were coming. I was the last stop of the day. The owner showed up exhausted from a busy day and treated me like I was the first stop of the day. Dave arrived about three hours later and quickly diagnosed the problem: an obstruction in the commode drain line that backed up into the shower. He disconnected the sink and rooted out the old galvanized steel drain pipe. 50 years worth of hair and rust. Yuck! There is absolutely no other business I would call now for sewer or any drain issues. Another company told me the day before that we needed $6500-$16000 worth of repairs. The first gentleman I spoke with (I think Richard?) Put me a ease and sent Nate over who was there in 15 minutes, he completely explained to me the design of the sewer and how the previous company missed the issue. 1/2 hour later and our problem is solved (proved to me by watching the pipe operate normally for a while via the pipe camera). We have had these folks twice over four years. Both times the main lines going to our septic system needing cleaning. In both cases they resolved the problem of the clogged lines by removing one of the toilets and using a power snake. Today (3/26/19) the service technician (David) did a wonderful job. I had a backed up sewer pipe that spewed out of my washing machine hookup. They sent Nate first thing in the morning, and he fixed the blockage. But there was another blockage 48 hours later, and when these guys say "guaranteed," they mean it: Dave was out that morning, and worked on it for hours to clear it in every direction. Shortly after, I had the original iron pipes taken out, and as they suspected, they were rotted from the inside and catching all kinds of material. I can't say enough good things about Nathan, and he went above and beyond to not only fix our problem, but to leave the bathroom space in excellent working order. Our basement became flooded from roots that infiltrated the French drains around our foundation. We called in the afternoon and got a quick call back from Nate, who promptly dispatched Dave out to our house.
