Reliable and prompt response when I called due to our air conditioner not working. We have worked with Ray before and I feel confident that the work he recommends is what's truly needed. I've even asked him about doing more repairs that he told me weren't really necessary. His prices are fair and he clearly communicates the cost. I would highly recommend! read more

Our furnace stopped working on the weekend and we were looking for someone to come in as soon as possible to check things out. Scheduling an online appointment was super easy with appointments available the next day (Sunday). I didn't even need to wait that long. Within an hour of making the appointment, the technician gave me a call and was on his way over that day. Chris was wonderful! My expectations for furnace repairs is always a little high and I was a bit worried about how much an emergency response repair would be. I was pleasantly surprised by the price, it was quite reasonable. Lovely service overall, definitely will use these guys again! read more

Chris was fantastic. He asset the situation and fixed our pipes in a timely manner. I strongly recommend

Great service! I have been doing business with Emergency Response Plumbing for 17 years. Emergencies to full furnace replacement they have always been there to quickly resolve any urgent need for my home as well as my family members homes. Always reasonable pricing for parts and repairs too! I would highly recommend Emergency Response Plumbing! read more

They got our furnace going by replacing a capacitor but they charged $500, which is a joke. The only positive thing I can say is that they were available on short notice, which lives up to the word "emergency" in their name. I'd suggest only using them when no one else is available. read more

I had set up an appt for them to come and set up a washer and dryer hookup. Confirmed the appt. They said they would be at my house between 11am and 2pm and no one showed up at all. Not even a phone call or anything. So safe to say I would not use or refer them to anyone read more

Ray and his crew do good work at a fair price and respond quickly. Have used them for a couple of major jobs (replacing boiler and water heater). Highly recommend. read more

On New Years Day our furnace died and on January 2 Ray came to our rescue. He quoted a fair price and worked quickly to repair the issue. Installing a brand new system and replacing all the cast iron radiator adjustment valves read more

Furnace didn't turned on. Called ER plumbing and heating. They were very responsive and sent someone over in an hour. The person said the motherboard of my furnace is fried and it's impossible to get one at this time. He recommended a new unit and quoted me $5500. I happened to have a warranty on the house due to recent purchase. So, called my warranty and they sent another technician out to diagnose. They were able to fix it within an hour costed me $125. The pump was the thing that was wrong. Not the circuit board. read more

Not sure what happened, they charged me $385 for a capacitor. That's just unacceptable.

I needed a boiler/plumber specialist. I found the website online, made the appointment through the website, immediately received a text confirmation. Ray showed up within the timeframe, diagnosed the problem and fixed a old vacuum hose that had disintegrated. He was efficient and the job cost was reasonable. No doubt, the top of my list for me and referrals. Mask worn at all times too. Thank you read more

My AC broke on the hottest day of the summer. I called 4 places with no responses. I called 4 more a day later. One was Emergency Response. They called me right back and were here in an hour. The AC was fixed in 10 minutes. The cost was reasonable. I only wish I could rate them higher. I would call them again in a heartbeat. Great people and service. read more

Excellent customer service and HVAC heating services contractors. 5 stars for integrity. Thank you for your service.

I have used Emergency Response Plumbing a few times before but today I called them for a problem I had for my 84 year old fathers house with his dehumidifier . was so nervous sending just "anyone "because he lives by himself and I was afraid he would be taken advantage of. My dad is the most important person in my life. Not only was Chris the technician on time, he was patient friendly and very very nice to my dad. Everything was done with perfection and at a reasonable price. I suggest anyone needing a plumber to call Emergency Response Plumbing. I know that I will not be using anyone else going forward. Thank you Chris for a wonderful Job read more

I'm so happy with my service! I'm a first time homeowner with oil heating, half of the house wasn't working and I had no idea who to call or what was wrong. We called last Thursday (2/26), based on a friend's recommendation. Needed someone to come out and fix kitchen faucet, downstairs toilet, upstairs shower head. Was told someone would come on Monday, 3/2/15, between 9:00 and 11:00 am. On Friday I came home to a voice mail message saying I needed to call a guy named Chris, who was trying to 'work this in.' I called Friday at 5:00 and left a detailed message (that we were scheduled). Never heard back. And no one showed up today. So I called the main number and a guy answered, who interrupted me three times. And when I said I didn't want to do business with them because of all this, he said 'okay.' Guess they don't need the work. read more

Well I am writing this review exactly 1 hour after I found this company on yelp. I came home from work on the first cold day (today) and noticed it was just as cold inside as it was outside. I called, the person answering was very helpful, and they sent someone out within an hour and I now have heat! It's 9:15 pm! I'm looking forward to the cold weekend without worrying about my pipes freezing. Thanks, emergency response! read more

Woke up on a Monday morning to a pinhole leak in a kitchen sink waste line, leaking down into our basement. After calling a few other places, got an immediate response from ER - Chris was out to our place within a couple hours, confirmed my emergency patch was going to hold, diagnosed the problem with a fair quote, and was back the next day for a permanent fix. All in all, couldn't be happier - extremely transparent and professional - saved us from a much tougher week! Thanks Chris and ER! read more

I received the number for ER from a friend and called this company at 9:00 at night when my furnace stopped working. A nice gentleman named Ray walked me through steps to turn the unit back on after we had cleaned out a blocked vent. He was patient and had nothing to gain from helping me. Their number is now on my furnace and I will be calling them for future plumbing and heating needs. read more

I was referred to ER from someone in the house renovation business, as my attempts to find my own plumber were comically bad. Much of my review is based on the extreme difference between dealing with ER versus other plumbing businesses. I had issues with my heating (gas, forced hot water) last winter, which was also the first winter I lived in my home. I had multiple parties out to look at it for multiple problems. I was given a laundry list of issues, especially by one local business, much of which to me seemed like extraneous services and repairs; i.e. things that weren't going to directly fix my problems. My absolute biggest problem with that particular business, other than their inability to actually fix anything, was their refusal to breakdown costs as it pertained to each element of the job. They flat out denied to tell me what a part cost or how much/how long the labor was on anything. Enter Ray, after a summer off from my heating headaches, but still with a bum boiler, Ray was able to diagnose the issues as being much deeper than just a broken part here, or a "dirty" part there. He was able to explain to me what was wrong, while also giving some priority to the list, so that I was able to make sure I had the most egregious issues fixed. The cost was reasonable and straightforward, so much so that I went ahead and had him fix everything while he was there. While it was still a good amount of money, I wanted the confidence in heading into the winter that my heating system was running well. I waited a couple of weeks to post this, being that I was gun shy from so many failed attempts to have my stupid boiler fixed, but I'm happy to report it's running SO much better than before and I'm very confident in it going forward. I'll likely save the money I spent in the first year based on how much more efficient the system is now. read more

We used emergency response plumbing to clear our sewer line and to install a proper cleanout for easier access. Happy with them. They were responsive and on time. They communicated their arrival time and price accurately. I knew what to expect. read more

Ray told me it would be $125 service call Which would be applied to the repair. He charge me $250.00 to simply change out the $45 thermostat! Tells you one price then when he's done with the job charges whatever he wants without first discussing it with you! Total rip-off! Don't trust him!!! read more

Thank you ER plumbing for the help today! I started out the day with a badly leaking sink and called them for advice. I left a voicemail and within 3 minutes I got a return call. The gentleman I spoke with answered all of my questions and was a pleasure to speak with. Happy to say I was able to fix the problem myself but I would definitely recommend working with this company if you are in their area! read more

I have used this company twice. The first was in the middle of the night and the second by appointment. Both great experiences. I feel I was charged fairly and the problem was solved. I also must say they have excellent customer service as well! It's nice to have a company I trust when things go wrong! read more

Water heater at my rental property sprung a leak late sunday night, forcing me to shut off the hot water to the 2nd floor. All I got was an answering service at Gems that tried to schedule an appointment in a 4-hour window on Monday mid-morning to late afternoon to diagnose (not fix) the problem for a minimum charge. I called ER Plumbing first thing Monday morning, and he gave me a 2-hour window in which he would show up to replace the water heater. Gave me the price over the phone, agreed to call me 30-minutes before he showed up, and showed up on time at 9:45 Monday morning. Replaced the water heater while I waited. When I tested the water on the 2nd floor, my tenant told me he had been having problems with flow in his sink. I opened and closed the valve, but that didn't help and it caused the valve to leak. I asked if they could take a look at the sink, and it took his helper all of 3 minutes to solve that problem while he finished cleaning up downstairs. Final price? Exactly what he quoted me over the phone. read more
