Highly recommend Cmags HVAC! I waited a few weeks before posting to make sure there were no upcoming issues and he truly deserves a 5 star, in which he does! We recently bought a new home and expecting a baby and wanted to install central ac. We reached out to 4 companies, Cmags being one, for quotes. Working with contractors can be very frustrating, however, not CMags! When Chris (owner) from Cmags came by to give us the quote he was professional, honest, and easy! He arrived on time and it wasn't a hassle. He told us he could get it done within 3 weeks. He gave us his quote and he was the fairest out of all the quotes we received. When it was time to install.. Him and his team arrived on time and day scheduled, got the job done neatly, and he stood true to his word on everything. To have the owner come out is huge to us and to see the honesty and follow through of everything was even better! I highly recommend to contact him for any service that he offers. I have to agree with Kevin. Very nice guys but the billing is ridiculous. Last time they fixed (sort of) something I was billed a $75 "parts acquisition fee". Whatever that is. I was assured by the tech that the new gurgling sound after the last fix going on in my pipes would work itself out. It hasn't. The noise gives me a daily reminder that these guys are expensive and not particularly good. I did notice all the 5 star reviews are 3,5,6,7 years old. The work performed was extremely poor. He was contracted on a new HVAC system to be installed. It failed inspections, had many issues. The owner Chris gave me the impression he didn't care about the project at all. Gave him over 15k, total project cost was $16102.50 and the system still does not work. Everything from incorrect duct work throughout the entire house, gas lines installed incorrectly, incorrect placement of multiple dampers, Chris not checking on his employee's work, screaming at them the few times he visited, damaged brand-new furnace while installing it, installed Ac condenser on an incorrect pad size, threatened to send me to collections if I didn't pay even though it failed the cities inspection. Tech guy was really nice but not nice to my wallet. Called for a service appt because my mini split fan was making loud noise. They gave me an ordinary weekday appt(no special weekend or rush appt) so I took it. The guy came over, basically just took the cover off the unit, shined a flashlight around it and that's it. I even supplied him with my own ladder to use and milwaukee flashlight. Maybe I should have charged him lol? Bottom line, he said it "probably" needed a new blower wheel & motor but wouldn't be sure until he actually took the unit apart. He said he would have his boss give me a quote on for the parts/labor. Okay. He then proceeded to give me a bill for a $109 service charge and $150 for the 1 hour of labor he claimed to work. If you call taking a plastic cover off a unit and shining a flashlight around it labor than I must be in the wrong business. I ended up paying $259 for basically the guy's time. Next time I will just buy a 6 pack of beer and call over my buddy to do the same work. I don't mind paying the $109 service call but charging an extra $150 an hour(the guy said that's their labor rate...another bigger company I called only charges $90) for nothing(no parts, no cleaning, no even trying to fix anything) is simply taking advantage of customers. I bought my house four years ago. The Man, who sold it to me, was flipping it Cmags install the heating and air conditioning first year no problem second year had no heat for a week had them come out couldn't figure out why It wasn't working. The condensation was coming back into the system, making the blower flood out. They then told me that it was under warranty. They replace the blower and put a drip line in. Then I told them that the air conditioning previous summer was making a loud noise. He told me to wait and see so I did the following summer I told him again that it was making that noise he sent someone over and they put a device or something like that in the unit it was working fine. The unit itself has a 10 year warranty. They know this because they installed it. I received a bill for $259.14. I told them to send it to the company who made the air-conditioning system because it was under warranty now I'm dealing with a collection agency, this is unbelievable if I could give a zero, I would avoid this company at all cost read more

When my tenant mentioned that the central AC wasn't working, I knew that I might be in for a wallet-crushing fix. Chris came out to the property and confirmed my fears, the unit was toast. After a few days, I received an estimate for $4800 or so, which was significantly less than the other estimates that I received (some as high as $10,000). Unfortunately, because it was June, the install date was set 2-3 weeks away. Chris came out on a Saturday and installed a whole new unit where the old one once was. My tenant has reported that it is working well with no problems. Melissa on the phones was very helpful and flexible along the way. Anya, via e-mail, was also very helpful, answering all of my questions and handling my requests. At times, communication was slow so I had to call to ask what was going on. Each time, Melissa helped quickly and efficiently, which helped to counteract the slight gap in communication. I know that these companies can get busy in the summer, so I was understanding and willing to call/nudge them a bit. Everyone I spoke with didn't seem annoyed at all at the pestering. Another nice thing about this company is that you can text with the ladies in the office, so that makes three means of communication which is helpful. Chris went back a few weeks later to touch-up a few things, and called me when he was done. He explained that cleaning the filter periodically will help to keep the unit running efficiently and also explained that he can come out once a year to perform maintenance and cleaning for about $129. I had an issue with my gas furnace where the burner would startup for about 10 seconds and then turn off. Randy came by this morning and had it fixed within minutes. He also helped me identify where the filter slot was as I could not find it. Really helpful and knowledgeable staff at an affordable price. I would highly recommend CMAGS to anyone. read more

My furnace was backfiring and needed a good cleaning. My furnace was inspected and taken apart for cleaning. Once it was all tuned up it was running like new again. Pretty good for a 38 year old gas furnace! Fair pricing, great service, honest people. Can't ask for much more. read more

Chris came out to my house in June of this year after my husband accidentally cut the wire to the condensing unit. The office called to let me know when he was on his way.
