We sat in the bar area and the waitress took our drink orders right away but we were ready to order as soon as she brought our drinks but she just sat them down and walked away. She then took a couple other drink orders as we were trying to get her attention a group of their own sports team sponsored group of guys came in and she immediately started taking all their beer orders and filling them all while we were still waiting to order food. Finally ordered food and it came out fairly quickly, however, for a place supposedly known for their wings, I was highly disappointed. They were way over cooked and very dry, and with the sauce so thin (I got the Sweet Chipotle) it just ran off the wings when it was added so you didn't even really have a sauce to help with the dryness. The jalapeño poppers were standard frozen poppers and the burger, though good sized, was just an ok burger. Onion rings were good but again just a standard frozen onion ring. As for the atmosphere, it was not in our wheelhouse, very honky tonk country vibe with loud country music to boot, but I didn't not judge them on that just because it wasn't our cup of tea. I wouldn't recommend their food selections if their appetizers are this poorly created. Beer was three stars as it wasn't that ice cold like it should be. Decor needs some improvement for a bar and grill. Seats are torn and tables are somewhat warped and need refinished. This could be a great place to hang out if improvements were made to it in a neighborhood that is up and coming. Music was just loud enough to enjoy as well as converse at a level that was appropriate to not have to shout. My UFC people, this is your place to catch the next fight. I've been here several times for fight nights and PPVs, and the venue doesn't disappoint whether you are with a few buddies or rolling solo. Cogburns is also a decent all-around sports bar with enough TVs to catch pretty much any major sporting event. I've been able to watch both a UFC main card and a non-mainstream boxing match from the same spot. Not bad! The bar food and drink selection is strong. They've got daily specials including a Saturday BOGO (almost) for boneless wings. There's also over 20 different sauce flavors, with some rather exotic flavors (e.g. PB&J, Taco, and Electric Strawberry). I usually go with a honey bbq which does the trick. I also highly recommend the $5 bites menu. The pepperoni pizza crisp is basically a thin crust pizza, so that's good value. I was a bit disappointed by the chips and salsa. The salsa is runnier than I'd like, though the chips were greasy and salty enough to stand on their own. The arrangement of the bar is interesting. When you walk in, you can head towards your right for restaurant-style seating, or downstairs into a den with more tables and TVs surrounding you. Want more of a a bar-scene? Keep heading straight towards the bathroom and there's a whole bar area with extra tables. The wait staff and bartenders here are inviting. When I first heard of the place, I thought it had a Hooters/Twin Peaks vibe, which really isn't the case. The waitresses are certainly friendly though the ambiance leans closer to a divey Buffalo Wild Wings. On August 2, 2024 approximately 8:30 I experienced the WORST customer service . I walked in with a party of 8 and when we all walked in there were 3 young girls with dark hair standing there amongst themselves. They did not acknowledge us at all and were looking around whispering between the 3. After waiting and NO question to be assisted we advised them we would need a table of 8 for dinner. The vibe then intensified as we appeared to be a nuisance to them and interrupting their conversation. One girl later ushered my sister to a table for 6 then walked away, like this was good enough! We proceeded to add a table to the existing table to allow for room for everyone. The young snooty girl came back and told us EXTREMELY RUDELY " Yeah....this WONT work!!!" Each encounter with these girls was basically demonstrating they were annoyed and did not want to assist us with a basic Hello's-can I help you, or seating arrangements or providing assistance with the tables. As a group I am assuming our bill probably would have been around 300.00 but instead we decided to take our business elsewhere. We called Cogburn's after leaving to speak to a manager to advise of the situation but it was obviously one of the girls that were pretending to be a manager stating we were at fault in this situation. Not sure why the verdict is pointing at us because all we wanted is to sit together and order food. Beware of this location!!!! Not only were we Not helped, we were rudely treated and blamed because they did not want to do their job. So sad.. Will not be going back. The fries were also very good. This would have been a 4 Star review, but the service I got from the waitress Ryan. W was excellent. Very tentative, professional, and friendly. And I am a bit of a pain when ordering. And she is one of the few servers that come back after a few minutes to make sure everything is okay. At about 2:30 PM, the place had a lot of people, but not full. The restroom was clean. So, I'll be back. And I'll be back on Thursday as it is 79 cents a wing, about half price. Side Note: I agree w/ one of the reviewers. They should suck it up on cost, for an extra ounce of dressing. That 60 cents equates to maybe 2 cents of product. First of all great wings. When you go there make sure that you get your exact change back. Tonight $5.35 was owed. They gave me 5 and said that they round up. I spoke with a mgr and she said they have done that for the 5 yrs shes been affiliated with them. In my mind thats stealing.
