Very cute little spot on Atlantic, right next to the Teacher Association and the diner on the corner. Street parking. Employees were very welcoming and polite, while also making a million drinks. It's a small location but nice to see it busy. Ordered the Imposter (their brown sugar latte) great flavor. I love when you can taste the coffee in the drink. Had some sweetness that didn't overwhelm the drink. Had great looking pastries from Nonas, I didn't try but a coworker had the bacon and chive croissant and said it was great. This was my second time here at the location. The first time I went , it was to-go. I asked for the on my way latte because I love their pistachio syrup! However, they forgot the pistachio syrup. Very kind enough to remake it for me but all I told them to do was add the syrup instead of having them remake it. The second time I stayed and it was early enough before the rush so I got a good seat inside. I am a person who needs a lot of space to work. I think I took up two or three seats because of all the stuff I had. Obviously I could condense but to make people aware it's kind of tight with space if there were people at every barstool. Outside, there was seating but the tables doesn't match the aesthetics. The tables looks like it's not cleaned and has dirt on them. And I saw that they can slide the entrance to close and use another door to exit, but when I was leaving, there were two people sitting on the table close to the exit and it was difficult for me to get out and leave because they had a stroller almost blocking the door. The main point is the positioning of the outdoor seating needs some work. But overall, it's a great coffee shop!! read more

First time at the new neighborhood coffee shop. Love their selection of coffee drinks with many including house-made flavors. I ordered a hot "walk of shame"and opted to make it a latte. A great choice for a particularly rainy afternoon. There is some seating inside that is counter style with some outlets, as well as a few short stools by the entrance. There is an outer patio which is covered, where on sunny or rainy days you will have shade or coverage. The baristas are so friendly, and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. One of my top spot to grab a cup of joe but I must say there matcha here is straight fire. I usually get it with cinnamon and honey so highly recommended. When I come here it's usually not all that full maybe I've been lucky but service is pretty quick. They have a nice lounging area usually see people on there laptops but great open layout. read more

Cool new hip coffee place. I am always glad to go to good coffee places. The reason for the 4 stars is that they don't offer drip coffee after 11am. I'm all for fresh coffee, but I don't really like espresso drinks and paying $1.50 more for an Americano is not a solution. Either offer pour overs after 11am or offer drip coffee like other coffee places in Long Beach. I love the new mural on their building. They offered a free scoop of vanilla ice cream and special drinks for national ice cream day, so we ordered affogatos (espresso with a scoop of vanilla ice cream). How it worked-- we paid for the coffee and they threw in the ice cream scoop at no charge; an awesome perk for the day! You can taste the quality of the coffee and the ice cream was equally as tasty. Cool spot in Bixby with street parking. Line can get a little long, but they keep it moving. Def recommend! read more

Today was the soft opening of one of the best coffee shops in the LBC! I was introduced to their location in Cal Heights and I absolutely love the ambiance, extremely friendly staff, and their delicious coffees. I was so excited that this location on Atlantic Blvd. In Bixby Knolls was coming soon as it is closet to where I reside. Today was thee day. I just had to support day 1 of their newest location. (I believe this is #3). I enjoy supporting small businesses and I am telling you that you will not be disappointed. I have yet to venture out and haven't tried everything on the menu as planned because their claim to fame INSTIGATOR has me in a chokehold! LOL P.S. They roast 49th Parallel beans (a Vancouver, BC based coffee roaster), have a gorgeous GREEN La Marzocco espresso machine, and a front patio with ample seating. The first time I visited CoffeeDrunk, all of the baked goods were "healthy"/keto stuff. Hard pass. They've since reformed, and now have outstanding pastries from local bakery Nonna Mercato. In addition to the classics, they offer a concise menu of specialty lattes and coffee/tea cocktails. I opted for the "Baby LA", which was exceptional. A tiny shop with big bold flavors. The service is always phenomenal here and the drinks are exactly what the menu promises. You order a Pistachio Latte? You bet your ass you're getting one (and it's delicious to boot). Even the seasonal selections are great. I only wish the seats were comfier for chilling with a laptop. (They're not bad. Tbh, the name the name of the place was what caught my eye and I also loved the decor of the place. the service was great and everyone was super friendly. I would definitely come back but I will say that the drink I had, I was a little disappointed with. I got the 'on my way latte' and I was super excited to try the salted pistachio syrup but the flavor was very light in my opinion. Plus I love a good latte but the espresso wasn't the best :( idk if I might have just had a batch of burnt beans? I ordered the coco verde & the high tea. My sister ordered the last call. My sister absolutely loved her drink. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for myself. The high-tea was good but it was super subtle. Wish the flavor was stronger for the hibiscus & the citrus. The coco verde was not great. I thought it was going to be a creamy yet sparkly drink like a cream soda but was the total opposite, unfortunately. Firstly, there were white specs all on top of the drink so I think the coconut cream separated or something. I also asked for sparkling & it tasted like still; no crispy bubbles at all. Lastly, the matcha had basically no flavor. This was definitely disappointing since I like the flavor of matcha to be strong. Maybe it just wasn't made correctly, I'm not sure. I was in the mood for a latte after some afternoon grocery shopping and decided to give this place a try. The aesthetic was very nice and I loved that the menu was unique. I ordered the Baby LA and hubby had the On My Way! Latte. Both were tasty! The Baby LA had a great flavor, but I wasn't a fan of fresh mint leaves coming through the straw. The only other downfall was the price. We paid over $17 for two drinks. That's pretty steep for a couple of latte's. read more
