We both got the cereal killer signature sips along with an avocado toast. The cereal killer was good and they added cinnamon toast crunch cereal literally in the latte. It was not too sweet. I came on a Sunday morning and when I went to put money in the meter, it read, "No Payment Needed Until 9AM." So, if you are up early on a Sunday morning and you want to start the day early like I did, free parking until 9AM. I am someone who enjoys a daily dose of coffee every single day. I do appreciate that this place was already open especially for it being a Sunday. The place is very cute and very clean. I love the black and white interior and the big window that lets in such a nice breeze. There was only one employee at the time and he was very friendly and made me a delicious vanilla latte with oat milk. I thought the price was standard for a vanilla latte. One of my favorite coffeeshops/juice bars in Long Beach because it's open until almost 8pm, so you can come here to get some work done and enjoy great vibes later in the evening. It's on Pine; there's plenty of great options for coffee, espresso, different ginger/shots and juices, smoothies, and cold pressed juice. They also have a great affogato if you're feeling dessert and coffee all in one. The people behind the counter have always been incredibly kind, and they are big supporters of the Long Beach community overall. If you're near Pine/4th, definitely give Daily Dose a try! I've been here twice so far and I will be coming back. I order an iced coffee every time and the cereal one is by far my favorite. I always order avocado toast here too and it never disappoints, but I just wish they added cherry tomatoes. The food takes a little bit to prepare, but it is definitely worth it!! Cute cafe in the Pine District with juices and smoothies. Came here with the lovely fellow elite yelper Blair T around 6ish for a little pick me up and we both got really tasty drinks. I opted for the metabolism green juice was had a nice tartness and tasted super fresh. The tart smoothie was well blended and not too sweet either, which I enjoyed. There is food available (namely acai bowls and avocado toast). Indoor seating (no outdoor seating is available). Metered street parking is available around the block. There is a gender neutral bathroom available and you ask the employee for the code to the keypad. Credit cards are accepted. They even provide treats for pups, which I thought was a cute touch. All around a really great experience. It's located right in the heart of downtown on pine and was really easy to get to. I tried their metabolism juice after a quick 7 am gym session and it was delicious!! I was really shocked at how good it was and they put it on ice which made it the perfect temperature to gulp it down. They were playing really good music and the inside is the great location for working remote. I can't wait to bring my laptop here one day soon and get to work. Daily Dose showed up as a new and hot and I knew I had to try. The tart smoothie was pretty much calling my name! Showed up with my boyfriend and of course ordered that tart smoothie. The store was really nicely decorated and it had ample seating. There was also some outdoor seating for those who wanna enjoy a little bit of sun. The store itself though was HOT. Holy crap it was a sauna. The staff here was friendly, but I really really wish they followed city/county guidelines and wear masks. Masks were not enforced for customers and the staff most definitely did not enforce it for themselves. The açaí bowl was plenty big and loaded with lots of fruit. I truly appreciate this Coffee Station. Being an iced coffee addict, I hold close my favorite spots and this spot has quickly become one of them. The coffee is great and the prices are very affordable. And not to mention all of the treats that are calling you from the display case. Today one of the Owners let me try a Turkish Rose flavored cubed treat and it was so tasty. I never had anything like it but now I want it. I don't really like sweets but this one has me wanting a box full of them!...and the best part is that it is not overpowering with the sweetness. And the Honey varieties that they have are awesome! Owners and staff are warm and friendly. #82 in my Coffeeshop Chronicles. The coffeeshop itself was cute and actually reminded me a bit of Coffee Dose in Costa Mesa and Irvine. It had the same modern spunky/ sassy vibe to it as Coffee Dose, which I liked. But the shop interior design and ambiance was literally the ONLY thing I liked about Daily Dose. The employee who helped me was stoic and standoffish, so service could have certainly been friendlier and more welcoming. And then the actual drinks were mediocre and incredibly overpriced. The cereal killer latte was $9 with tax and the Pink Matter was about $10 with tax. Both drinks were subpar, and definitely not worth the high price tag. To be honest, the matcha drink was one of the worst I have ever had, even worse than the Starbucks version, and that is saying something. I don't consider myself a matcha aficionado or anything but wow the matcha drink here was truly terrible and should not have been priced at nearly $10. Maybe half that, if even. Anyways, I'm still annoyed at how I spent ~ $20 on two drinks that went into the trash after just a few sips. $10 per drink is alot even if they did taste good, but to pay that much for crappy drinks felt downright outrageous! I wonder if it was an off day since the employee helping me looked busy with phone orders, so maybe that impacted how my drinks were made - I don't know but either way I have ZERO inclination to return. ******************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh.
