Service was terrible, very rude workers that gave attitude and didn't get orders right

Ordered two bagels. One w ham & cheese & one w cream cheese. Nicely toasted & enough cream cheese. Coffee is self-service with whatever you need. Cute converted gas station w inside dining and outside patio. Good for a gang or a cozy two. Area with a couch and games on a shelf nearby. read more

Still the best! All these years I've been going to Coffee Station when I'm in Chester and it's still the friendliest coziest tastiest in town. I went 3 days in a row on my last trip. Thanks to the team at Coffee Station! read more

Amazing pastries (we wake early for the cinnamon rolls) Staff is genuinely friendly. Cutest coffee shop.

We had an iced London fog latte, which we rate a 4/5, and my hot honey latte I give a 4/5. They were very fast to make our drinks, and the environment is a great space to hang out at! read more

Quick stop along our drive today, this place is cozy and inviting. We both got bagels and cream cheese, and delicious. For drinks I had a caramel moca blended and my daughter had a chi tea. They were wonderful. The barista was kind and patient. read more

Extremely family, friendly coffee shop right for breakfast on the go, people in drive-through are very nice. The service is perfect. They have great variety of on the go food for breakfast. they're able to put that little small touch to respect and know who you are and to remember little things like keeping low temperature for my special-needs son with hot chocolate I find that amazing to remember those wonderful things. It keeps customers coming back the locals and the locals will tell everybody... read more

A simple place overall. However their beauty lies in their simplicity. There is no complicated menu. The usual stuff done right. Go there for your morning bagel and coffee or bakery item before you start your day or start a hike in the nearby national park. They have some seating inside and open by 7. Check it out. read more

Great place with lots of character to warm up with a coffee first thing in the morning or catch some shade in the midday with an iced latte. It was a great stop for us on an overlanding motorcycle trip as they also have bagels and such and a really nice Honey Bran muffin. Even the Barista added character to our photo! read more

Cute place and staff is friendly however service is really slow and it's extremely over priced especially for a small business. For 3 breakfast burritos that were not only made in the microwave but were the size of a McDonald's breakfast burrito if not smaller, and 4 drinks it was over $70....thats crazy. $8 for a bagel is crazy.... $9 for a 4oz breakfast burrito is crazy... they ask your name for your order but don't mark all of your drinks so when I went to grab one of my drinks they just called out what it was and another customer who's order was take after me came up and grabbed my drink. Then the barista offered me the other drink that was obviously the other guests and when I explained that it wasn't what I ordered she offered to add a flavor shot to it opposed to just taking the opportunity to make me my correct drink. Honestly my biggest complaint is the cost and the value of what you're getting. I'd definitely recommend the European cafe down the way for not only values but quality as well over here. read more

Great family customer service. Great prices! Great coffees. Short wait times. They know you by name!

You always get a big smile and tasty coffee here. I love to tip good service, and I have always tipped here. Great place.

My boyfriend and his family go to Lake Almanor every year for a week-long camping trip. I was able to join them last year and this year, and was introduced to the little town of Chester. My boyfriend was so sure I would love Coffee Station, and he was right! We went here at least three times during last year's camping trip, and at least three times again in this year's trip. The people are super nice, and the coffee is great! If you have the opportunity, try some of their baked goods. Their flaky cinnamon roll is delicious, baked with puff pastry instead of regular dough. They also have some smoothies, but I can never order anything other than coffee here because it's so good! We definitely plan on going here again next year! read more

My family and I were so blessed today to find this hidden gem in Chester, CA. The service was amazing and the people working there were so kind. This place kicks the other brand name coffee chains to the curb. Thanks for being open during these crazy times. I will be heading back as soon as I can. read more

This place is epic! Strong local coffee and unbelievably reasonably priced. Incredibly cheap prices. And best of all, the staff all as nice as can be. Spent 3 days at lake almanor and went by the coffee station all 3 days. Was greeted with the nicest staff through the drive thru window on all 3 days! Thanks guys! We will be back! This gem of a coffee station is a staple to the community of chester. Every time I walk in the door, I am greeted by a smile and warm welcome. Brenda and Mary have the most genuine souls. The coffee is the great, and the breakfast bagel is a MUST! If you like caramel and caffeine, the iced caramel macchiato is the way to go! Make sure to stop by this place if you are ever in the area! read more

Very good coffee drinks, free wifi, and a warm, comfortable atmosphere. This business always supports local events and nonprofits and asks for nothing in return. My friend loves their drive through because they give dog treats to his pups. A true community gem, way better than stupid corporate coffee at starbucks. read more

Their coffee is warm about 70% of time. Please!!! They should upgrade their coffee machine/holder.

We always look forward to stopping by the Coffee Station when we visit Lake Almanor. The coffees, pastries, bagel sandwiches are delicious! The ladies behind the counter are always very nice. Another bonus is the drive thru. Highly recommend! read more

Was there a couple of days ago July 23 anyways my coffee was great except I just about fell out of the seat of my truck when they said it was $9 for a frozen coffee drink which is just about double from wherever else I've gotten a coffee! I will never go there again I do not want to be gouged on prices!! read more

Great coffee, food and a warm welcoming feeling that is rare these days. Brenda has brought it all back

This place is a gem. Great service and always a smile. Charming mountain ambiance and cinnamon rolls worth driving days for. Staff is great. Saw some complaints in other reviews and I wonder if it's just bitter Karen's and Chad's because the staff is awesome and the coffee is too. Maybe Karen and Chad need a visit from chuck norris. The cheese breakfast bagel with pesto, bacon, egg and cheese is a game changer! So so good

Right on the main drag in Chester, this looks like a good place to stop for breakfast. The interior is pleasant with ample seating, and they offer a variety of breakfast sandwiches and pastries. I just stopped in for a coffee and restroom break. The service was not very friendly, and the coffee is self service which I don't like because it seems coffee served this way is usually not fresh. My cup was disappointing--no flavor and lukewarm. Also, there are no restroom facilities here. read more

Great coffee; Fun Staff I stopped here with two friends on the way to a bike ride at Lake Almanor. My double espresso ($2) was generous and excellent. My friends both had mochas. They liked them, even though the flavor was different than their usual Starbuck's. Both also had warmed-up pastries (turnover & cinnamon bun). Thumbs up. I tried the cinnamon bun. Lots of cinnamon and sweet topping. I would definitely return! FYI-Plenty of parking in rear PLUS a drive-up window. read more

This was one of the places I stopped at during my stay in Chester. It's the only coffee shop in town and they made my trip even better! I was able to start a few of my days off with an iced cold, caramel frappuccino. We came by here 2 days out of our trip and each time we were greeted by their friendly staff. Another great thing about this place is they have a drive thru. It made things so much easier for us to just grab our drinks and go. read more

I appreciate that this has been one of the longer standing businesses in Chester, but I am so disappointed in the ignorance that has been made visible with the Pandemic. You are serving food and drink, and you are serving to pass- through travelers. To remove masks and gloves just because the county went into orange, is a misjudgment from management. Your staff is not vaccinated and no, they do not have room for 6ft a part in your small square footage, leads me to believe they likely aren't also washing their hands. Your brand is everything in a small town. You have to realize your biggest winter and summer audience will be people from the surrounding cities, that want their families and friends to be safe. Taking the extra precaution like a Nordstrom's would in the heat of Texas, is what sets the leadership apart. I'd reconsider your strategy. This looks really bad. read more

Really friendly service. Good coffee and tea. Worth stopping at. Close to Lake Almanor.

The two food prep/servers working behind the counter not wearing masks. The manager is awesome, very friendly and consistently wears a face shield which is appreciated. No more business from us or our family and neighbors now or in the future. Sad that a simple thing like wearing a mask to protect others' health can't be done. read more

Disappointed. Waited a very long time for our 3 drinks while multiple people were served behind us in the drive thru line (maybe they had called ahead?). Then my blended coffee drink- had no coffee in it. When she handed it to me, I asked- there's coffee in there, right?! I had ordered a blended latte- it was all white. She said "Yep"! No...there wasn't. Yuck, basically, I got blended sugary milk. I won't be back. read more

I'm sitting here right now in this place using their wifi and drinking my Chai Latte. My wife is drinking her Latte with non fat milk. So, needless to say they have all we need.
