It was a leap of faith ordering from a bakery I knew nothing about, but we were SO HAPPY with the results! Even though she had a wedding order that same day, she made us a gorgeous German Chocolate cake and even delivered it! The cake was a perfect ending to a wonderful birthday party. EVERYONE raved about how delicious the cake was! The cake itself was rich and very chocolaty, the frosting was dense and fudgey, and the Caramel Pecan filling was ;positively Orgasmic!! Cornerstone Bakery became our regular spot while vising Truckee so much so that we visited them all three days during our recent visit. In addition to their great pastry options, they also have many coffee and tea drinks available too. We also enjoyed their homemade focaccia bread with salt and it was so delicious!
