Not only did they give me a discount on my cup of coffee, but they also treated me to a delicious Americano instead of the small coffee I originally wanted. The atmosphere is absolutely charming, with old coffee bags adorning the walls, giving it that quaint, small-town vibe. Keep in mind I'm NOT a coffee person but came here to check it out because I was told someone else LOVES this coffee. I just came from Carey Candy Co which is a full on gift goodie fun stuff place. Staying in Quincy for an event, we spied this shop from the main street and headed in. Conveniently close to a natural foods store and a smoke shop, among other neat little places, we were able to make it one of several little stops on a foot tour. Very quaint. The shop had great atmosphere, a unique layout, and was obviously frequented by regulars who were affectionately greeted by the shop owners. Total small town feel. But despite that we didn't feel unwelcome. They also had a cool little table with a chalk board surface and some sidewalk chalk for patrons to art on. Cool touch. Now to the brass tacks. The coffee was very good! I like coffee for coffee, so I had a 3 shot americano with no additives. It was bold and smooth, with plenty of earthy spiciness. My daughter had a chai tea which she also enjoyed very well. Not overly sweet, well balanced, not too much milk. They also had a decent selection of delectable pastries, which we did not sample. Overall great stop, definitely on my list to repeat. read more

I only come here once a couple times a year to use the internet when I'm visiting relatives in the area. The coffee is bland, it's always freezing cold inside even in the summer, and the people are rude. Twice I've been asked to move from the table I was sitting at because a "regular" is going to come in and expect to sit there (even though it's not reserved!). The first time I obliged, the second time I was on a conference call and said I needed a few minutes, meanwhile the "regulars", four nasty old women presumably living in the area, stood literally right next to me and tried to talk over me during the conference call. Hopefully they build a Starbucks in Quincy soon, in the meantime I'll be going to the candy shop up the street that has faster wifi and much better service. Unless you're a local I would avoid this place at all costs. read more

These folks have the best coffee and tea in town. Their food is also very good. If you are a coffee snob, this will be your choice when visiting Quincy. A little difficult to find, just go toward the Post Office, they are located within the same building. Good job! read more

Delicious breakfast! We had an egg and sausage sandwich on an English muffin and scrambled eggs with yellow squash, red onion and red bell pepper and cheese and it was perfect! We also had homemade flour and dairy free pumpkin muffins as well as apricot almond danish. So GOOD that we grabbed some to go. The coffee and hot chocolate were also yum. Good locals atmosphere, but everything else fell short. Both of my espresso drinks had a ton of sediment. I've never seen so much mud at the bottom of the cup. My bagel sandwich seemed microwaved, way too chewy. I'm ok with reheated stuff but a panini press or toaster would have been more appropriate. Quaffable. read more

The absolute best selection of loose teas in town! You can get them cold or iced and I absolutely LOVE the black fruit tea. Too often places have way too many herbal teas and hardly any black teas to choose from. Not being a coffee drinker, but still wanting my caffeine bump, this place offers friendly service and and lots of choices for tea drinkers like me! Hidden gem in the mountains, staff is friendly, helpful and kind. I'm from Seattle, and was in dire need of coffee and a good place in the mountains with fast wifi to work remotely. The entire town comes here to enjoy the atmosphere, spring rolls and yummy Peanut Butter Cookies. If you are in the area, I highly suggest you stop by this little oasis in the country. read more

Great local place. My friends family has a place up at Bucks Lake. I travel in almost every day to catch up on work emails and make some calls. I try to find a different place each time. The true small town coffee atmosphere. Locals chatting, local papers on the tables, always run into someone you know, free wifi, and owners working the front end and drinks made to taste great. Just finished the most amazing Panini sandwich I've ever had...chicken salad w/lemon caper aioli. I will want this sandwich every day now, I'm ruined!! Glenn and Kristen are the most giving, community minded people and their food is amazing. They catered a staff lunch for us a few weeks ago and everyone was full of compliments, we're using them again in two weeks. Can't wait.
