Keep in mind I'm NOT a coffee person but came here to check it out because I was told someone else LOVES this coffee. I just came from Carey Candy Co which is a full on gift goodie fun stuff place. Compared to Carey, this is a coffee shop! But maybe it really is good coffee! I CAN SAY I had a COCONUT CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE that was definitely worth the stop.

A cute little coffee shop in downtown Quincy. They have a nice array of breakfast and pastry items, and good selection of coffee and hot drinks. It's got a few cozy seating areas and a decorative chalkboard table. The ambience is homey and the breakfast sandwich I got was hearty and of good quality.

Cute little coffee table with chalk drawing, courtesy of the girl who ate all the plants!

Good service. Board games. Coffee didn't meet my standards but I could be a coffee snob.

My son had fresh muffins both days which were outstanding. Others in our party enjoyed their meals too. They wet so accommodating and friendly with repeated coffee refills. Would definitely go back.

We asked for a table outside because she can't hear well, and the cafe was bustling and loud. The staff seated us, but had to move tables around outside. The hostess and a "regular" of the cafe said things like "this is what we do in a tourist economy." "We have to accommodate the tourists." As if we were a bother and they were bending over backward to accommodate us. Because my mother in law was there, and she is emotionally raw right now, I avoided conflict. So I'll say now, what I wanted to say to those snarky, rude employees Thursday: My husband's family has had a plot in the Taylorsville cemetery for longer than those two ladies been alive -- combined. His grandmother had 2 restaurants in Greenville. His mother is a fixture in the community, living through the Dixie fire and coming back to rebuild her life. Now she'll bury her husband there. My sister and brother in law worked in public service in Quincy for decades. We aren't tourists. And even if we were, you were incredibly unwelcoming. You made a sad day worse. The food was fine.

"Donuts with Dad" is an unofficial tradition for my kids at home, but especially when we travel, so…read morewhen I spotted this shop I made a note to sneak my kids out early one morning, and we had a blast as usual. The shop is located just outside of Quincy in a strip mall. We pulled in and found the selection to be fairly sparse at 9am and the donuts looked darker than I'm used to and a bit dry. The kids scored a chocolate iced long john and a chocolate iced old fashioned, and I added on a glazed twist and a raspberry jelly, and the total was around 8 bucks. I went to pay and they tacked on a .50 charge for a credit card. This practice always upsets me as a consumer and I wish they'd just charge what's necessary to do business. I had cash and used that instead to avoid it. The service, from what I can only guess are the owners, wasn't very warm or friendly, and that was a bit disheartening too. I'm used to small towns having such warm and wonderful people, and this just wasn't the case. The place was clean with a few tables to sit, so we stayed and ate there. I noticed they also had coffee, though it smelled a bit stale, and they also sell boba too. It was a nice donuts with dad morning. The twist was enjoyed later as well ;) but all in all I had hoped for more here.

We got a half dozen here and the doughnuts were great! The lady there was so fast and cool, could…read morenot recommend more!
