I came here with my two girl friends a while back and really loved it! My best friend and I have been trying to explore the Eugene area for new coffee shops, and we're glad we found this one! The aesthetic of this place is so pleasing. It's so modern, and chic and classy. The tables are made from trees and natural wood, and the space is so open and a nice atmosphere. The coffee itself was also great. I usually get a mocha to compare from shop to shop, and the mocha had a nice, strong coffee taste, was VERY reasonably priced for the bigger size, and was not too sweet. My friend got the iced caramel drink and she said it was a little too sweet for her liking, but she would have liked to try something different before having that make or break her decision on this place. This is the PNW, and people love their coffee here. The options are almost endless, from drive-through to storefronts to corner cafes to boutique roasters, not to mention the convenience stores, kiosks and restaurants that also sell it. A new business trying to break through all of that competition needs something unusual. I didn't get that in my first trip to this place. They do offer all of the usual espresso drinks as well as the cup o' joe to get you through the weekday morning at a reasonable price. They also have bagged coffee, which they sell representing different regions (Guatemala, Panama, Kenya). Their baked goods selection is woefully underdeveloped, however, and they don't offer anything cooked or even sandwiches at lunch. It's a shame because they space is nice, and hanging out here for an hour or two could be awesome if there was a compelling reason. There are at least a half dozen other coffee places on West 11th alone. A decent menu would make this place stand out. It is still very new - a guy was drilling into walls while I was there - so there is still hope. read more

I really love this place it is Eugene Unique The coffee's and teas are so very wonderful to be able to try so many different flavors. The food is so yummy and very unique and fresh. It is like a gourmet kitchen for breakfast and I still order online or pick up at the pick up window because it is that good, imo. It was super awkward and I was really annoyed because, I paid for this drink and honestly what they charged me was more than what it takes to makes two of those so her point was pretty invalid. Today was my first time here. When I walked in I was excited by the menu and was looking for a healthy option like avocado toast. I was even willing to pay the higher price for the quality I thought it would be. I was so disappointed. The spread appeared to be pre mushed avocado and was covered with way to much garlic and was way too salty! I called later to complain, as my order was to go, and was hoping they would make good for the food that ended up in the garbage. But there was no offer to compensate for the expensive slice of bread (I think it cost $9). I love local, but I won't recommend and won't go back. read more

What a great and rare find out on W 11th! I appreciate any place that knows how to do a pour over and celebrates the beauty of single origin light roasts. I love the modern industrial atmosphere and the packaging in mason jars. Great branding, menu and chalkboard art. My only nitpicky thing is that it smells like toasted cheese instead of fresh coffee when you walk in, which I found distracting. But my cup of coffee tasted delicious and was made with care with a chemex. It was not the most complex cup I've ever had, but I am from Seattle and used to buy coffee at Whole Foods, so I am just appreciative at the effort being made by some of the newer coffee shops here. CPR has excellent coffee and food. The lack of more stars is because the music is way too loud to ever have a conversation (I sound like my dad) or focus on reading a book and the internet is always spotty so if you need a place to work it can be questionable. I went in for an interview; we sat near the counter and the baristas kept talking to each other about me loud enough for me to hear and giving me odd/dirty looks every time they walked by. A very unpleasant and uncomfortable experience. Decent coffee but horrible customer service. And very overpriced I might add. I had breakfast here for the first time last week and was completely and throughly impressed! The breakfast sandwich with sausage on a biscuit was AMAZING! The egg was perfectly cooked, the sausage was excellent and the biscuit...OMG. I was not expecting the best biscuit I've ever had to come out of a coffee shop on West 11th! I am always impressed when the restaurant and bathrooms are super clean, the employees were friendly and the coffee great. If you live in Eugene and have a habit of hanging out in the downtown area, you should really expand your horizons and check out this little place on West 11th. The ambiance of this place is amazing! It's such a great place to catch up with friends or to read a book. I also really enjoy the cleanliness and excellent customer service here. Everyone is always willing to help and give you any suggestions, which I enjoy with my indecisive mind! There is lots of seating, but the parking can get tricky. Some of the parking spots are rather narrow and can fill up pretty fast, especially on Saturday's. I have been coming here for the past year every so often. However, the last time I was in, I was surprised to see there being a charge on card purchases of less than $5. I am also dairy-free so I asked for a little bit of almond milk in my coffee, another charge. No big deal, but when a​ 12oz Americano​ comes down to $5 it can get a little frustrating​. I also ordered food: eggs with bacon and some toast. The food was ok, but it felt dry and a little tasteless. Overall, the coffee and service are​ good! ​Their​ food could be a little better, and I wish there was no charge on the almond milk. I don't always go to West 11th but I always brew CPR beans at home. And if I am that way and need a pick me up I will go a few blocks out of my way to treat myself to some of the even fresher beans and a made to order cup to go. I stopped in early in the morning before my dentist appointment. I was in a rush. The cashier was friendly, quick and awake, but the barista seemed inappropriately selective as to whom should receive their coffee in a timely manner. They were busy talking to the previous customer who had already received their drink. I did not leave feeling happy about the drink that was slowly made for me after they decided to start making it.
