Stopped in today for a milkshake- I've been before but couldn't remember if I liked their coffee or not. I was a little sticker-shocked at the milkshake price ($6 for 16 oz?) but the other drinks looked reasonably priced and sounded good. The barista was very friendly, and efficient. And the. I got my drink. Yeah I understand the cost now. This thing has NO filler. It is literally all ice cream (Lochmead!!) and espresso. And it is good! Thick and delicious. Their sandwich board said best milkshake in town- and they might be right. A milkshake isn't an every day thing, so I don't know when I'll get it again (but I will want to), but I'm definitely looking forward to trying their other drinks now! read more

I like going here when I am in the mood for a real coffee house type tea, not what Dutch Brother's has. Now don't get me wrong, I am not knocking them. I love them just the same. I get a coconut, pineapple iced green tea. Or some times just coconut. When I am feeling really tired I stop in and get the flavored red bull. Thankfully I don't do that on a daily basis like I did years ago. I can't even finish them now. They have really good baked goods here, but it's not something I get on a regular because I am trying to cut that out of my diet. I have bought the banana bread and it was really good. The service is always really friendly. I keep coming back because of the yummy drinks, service with a smile, and the convenience of it being so close to my house! read more

Just moved to the neighborhood, and I got to say Prime Time Coffee isn't a bad little drive through. I'd say it's one of the best on River Road. The speed that they where able to whip out our orders is what surprised me the most, maybe it's cause we where walk up customers and didn't have to wait in the car line, but man it seemed like by the time we where done ordering we had our cups of liquid warmth in our hands. This place opened up a little while ago and we though we would check it out. The first time my wife didn't want to go out so, I order the French Dip and Broasted Chicken to go. When I got there the place was nothing special, small but clean and bright. The chicken was very good, moist and the Jojo's were also very tasty. The French Dip was a little spendy but it was also decent, nothing special but good. Now if I would have stopped there this place may have gotten a 4-star rating. But then we decided to sample their breakfast menu. That was a mistake. First of all, turn on the heat. We had to sit in there with our fleeces on just to make the cold bearable. It was so cold, I swear I saw a polar bear go by, he said "Damn, it's cold in here." Then comes the food. They have breakfast burritos on their menu with "You choice of meat." But when my wife asked that they put ham in hers, the waitress stated that "We don't do that." Either Bacon or Sausage, those were the only choices, maybe they should put that on the menu. The food again was decent, but then came the ambiance. There were 2 old couples in there and they started going off, between each, about the good ol' days how they were still sticking it to the world in their old age, which is fine. But they were talking a little loud. The loudness of their voices was the reason why, when their conversation turned racist, we could still hear them. They started talking about "Towelheads," and "N*&ggers," and "Spics" driving down the street and how they showed all of them. We were transported back with them. That made for a real enjoyable breakfast...I didn't know we were attending a Klan Meetin. And when the waitress came from around the counter, we though, finally she can maybe have them talk a little quieter, but instead she didn't do anything to stop them. She actually started laughing with them and started showing them pictures on her phone, like she was best pals with them. So bottom line, the food ain't bad, but if you want to dine in the 21st century you may want to avoid this place. Either that or you can don your sheet and join the Klan Meetin. read more

I've been a customer at Prime Time since they opened! Vicki is a go-getter and kills it on the customer service. She has always hired staff who excel in this area. Drip coffee and Americanos are great, and flavored drinks are sweet and sugary. That being said, they will customize your drink to your exact expectations and usually hit the mark when asked! They also serve AMAZING pastries from My Moms Kitchen (i think?) They are baked locally, and although frozen prior to service, I've never had anything I didn't like! There is always a special, usually advertised out front so you don't miss out, and great staff picks and recommendations! I might not be a regular, but Prime Time is definitely my safety! read more

Offers the best drive up coffee on the extreme north end of Eugene. I get drip/brewed coffee three to four times a week, great flavor, always fresh, not too hot, some of the best in town. Have sampled the food, the burritos and wraps are good in a pinch but nothing to get me to make a special trip. In addition to their prepared foods, has the standard drive through fare of muffin mill and other prepackaged foods. Owners and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. This is the 2nd time I've been here. Would I try a 3rd? No way. The blond haired waitress needs a behavior makeover. Her curt behavior didn't get her a big tip. Besides that her memory after writing down what we wanted was poor. She didn't remember our drinks nor to bring the other table a spoon to eat their soup. The food for $9.25 was a hotdog bun with beef, called a French dip. Skip this place Give this place a miss and head further down River Road to the Chinese restaurant. This place has fallen apart, just like the diner. I have no idea why this place has as many stars as it does. I'm thinking they have all their friends and family leaving good reviews to boost business. Let me tell you about this place: The service is always awful if you get the blond lady, she is rude, demeaning and everything she says, she says with an attitude. Heaven forbid you ask her a question about literally anything. Next thing is the coffee itself. Its about as acceptable as any other coffee place, but they for some reason refuse to STIR the coffee. If you had sugar or anything that you'd usually stir into coffee, get ready for it to be sitting in the bottom of your cup. Tasty. Next, the burritos are terrible! They're just microwaves burritos with plain eggs, microwaved shredded cheese and really tasteless meat. No flavor to them at all. And the tortillas are always soggy and covered in the remnants of the cheap wrapping they put around them. I don't like eating paper. Lastly, the owner responds to reviews on the Facebook page with rude comments. Very unprofessional! Today was the last time I ever go here, and I urge as many of you as possible to skip this place entirely and take your business elsewhere. read more

This drive through coffee place had great customer service but way too sweet of a chai latte. I like some sweetness but man, it was like drinking milk mixed with sugar. It's so hard to find a good, reasonably priced chai in this town. I have found a couple places but I am always trying new places for times when I am in that particular neighborhood. The 12 oz chai was 3.75 and I could only drink half of it. If you like your drinks really sweet then this place is for you. I'm sure their normal coffee drinks are less sweet... dang maybe I just need to go back to normal coffee since it's hard finding a balanced chai. I go here often, they open very early which works great for me since I commute. I love their Mexi-mochas and their breakfast burritos (chorizo is the best!). Any other of their cofffe "drinks" I have had have been good. The only negative is the other day I ordered a "regular small coffee with cream" It was seriously the worst cup of coffee I have ever paid for, it tasted like it had been left on a burner for days. I have had their americano before and it was good so I dont know why this one cup was so bad. I highly recommend this place. They are friendly and quick, and open early...just dont order a regular coffee. read more

So, this is exactly what I expected. A small diner. What's everyone so worked up about here? Cheap meals, in a small space, decent taste, fair portions. Yep, a typical diner. I for one was super tickled that my small breakfast was a whopping $5.50. I felt like I time traveled about 20 years to my childhood... The server was quiet but seemed nice enough. She appeared to just be busy, as she was managing all of the tables. There was one cook in the kitchen. My brother informed me sometimes the server is also the cook on the short staffed days. The cook made a point to say hi to my niece which made my brother and his wife quite pleased. I thought it was sweet. It's his family's favorite weekend breakfast spot, and it's conveniently close to their home. So seriously people, this is a pretty modest operation, if you're looking for a kitchy experience, go to Denny's or Sherri's or the like. Leave the independent businesses alone. They're doing the basic diner thing right. read more

This is a great little drive up coffee shop. I have tried the jack o lantern mocha and the snow mocha and both are amazing. They are not overly sweet and hit the spot. I love this place because you get top notch drinks with out paying the crazy prices you would pay at Starbucks and Dutch bros. If you are over in this area stop in a grab a drink. I drive way out of my way here for a double latte short; nothing needed; no sugar or flavored, just a perfect smooth latte! And yes, the local pastries are excellent! Baristas are great! This is place is in my neighborhood, so I've been here a couple times usually with 6 months or more in between because we expect it to get better, it never does. The portions for dinner are small, service takes a long time (we waited over an hour for our breakfast once!) and it's kind of an awkward dining area. This place only gets 2 stars due to inconsistency. Half the time they put forth an effort and the coffee is decent. The rest of the time I don't even think they listed to your order. Lately I have been ordering just straight shots and making my style of coffee at home. But today my order of 5 shots was pitiful, it looked like 2 shots and was bitter and tasted like stale beans. Prime Time is a laid back coffee joint. It's open daytime hours 6a - 6p. The baristas are all very personable. I've heard they will remember your birthday, but I'm not going throw them that herculean task. Prices are fair - I don't have to mortgage the house to afford their premium drinks. The Mexican Mocha is my favorite drink. It's a rich, spicy, chocolaty, wonder of a drink. Large = $3.75. For the extreme sweet tooth - There is a Coffee Milkshake that is a bit pricey, but it's a ridiculously good coffee desert in a cup. Buy it large (24 oz.) since a small will leave you wanting to make a return trip. ~$5.50 The breakfast burritos are no joke. I suspect Vicki doesn't cut corners on ingredients, it tastes homemade. Nice chunky potatoes, eggs, cheese and bacon or sausage. Small or Large sizes. The large is a beautiful monstrosity that can easily feed a small family or maybe a tiny village. ~ $3.50 - $4.50 Don't rush ordering, check the specials board at the window for a quick deal. Amazing breakfast burritos! They also have this little pumpkin chocolate chip loaf thing that is delicious paired with hot coffee.

Pretty spendy, but the broasted chicken is awesome! Call ahead in advance and order it, you won't be disappointed. It takes 25 minutes to cook. Super friendly staff. They're open on Saturdays, too....don't know why their hours are listed as Monday thru Friday. read more

If you like a great tasting cup of coffee and awesome friendly service this is the only place to go and get yourself a cup of coffee. They even have a window that's rite off the sidewalk so when I'm in my wheelchair i can wheel rite up to the window and place my order. This place is awful.. There is no consistency with their drinks.. They have the highest turn over rate of any place ive seen. As soon as you get through the rough couple weeks of new baristas learning to make your drink, POOF shes gone. The drinks can be good but i dont feel as if any of the employees know much about coffee, or how to make it. Not sure how this place makes it in this economy with so many other booming coffee places. The staff is usually friendly but you can tell they dont seem to be happy to be there. With that and the turn over rate, i can only imagine that the owner must not know what she is doing. The one time i came threw and she was there she seemed to be all over the place and very pushy. I tried to make conversation with her *as i go to this coffee shop pretty frequently* and asked her a few simple questions about their coffee and products. She couldnt answer a single one... Maybe its just me but instantly red flags popped up. THE OWNER didnt even know what products she was serving, prices on anything, or even what roast their house coffee was. from what i have gathered the owner is just completely out of the loop and expects the girls to run her business for her, with no one really in charge to manage things. There are however two girls *a red head Emily and a blonde Kayla* who have always given me a great vibe, they are filled with positive energy but not too over the top, but genuine. As far as i could tell ever since either of them started they just completely grasped the whole concept of the business and took off with it. They were the only two who actually made my coffee day after day and it tasted right and the same every time. They obviously have a love for coffee themselves, understanding how concistency means everything to the customer. you can always expect to get what you want ... especially when a cup of joe is around 4 bucks these days. Anyways i will end my rant here by saying i wont be back to this place after being informed that one of the kick ass baristas was let go over a customer complaint.
