    Chicken pesto
    Ashley R.

Was looking for a new coffee shop and yelp brought me to this place :-) I will say... it was pretty warm in there for it being a hot spring day. I wasn't able to check if there were any outlets, the time I went it was getting pretty busy. I got the Iced Spanish Latte (with oat milk) and the chicken pesto sandwich. I really appreciate them automatically doing 3 shots of espresso on a medium coffee. I'd give the coffee about a 3/5. The pesto chicken panini was so flavorful and the crunch but still soft from the panini was very much appreciated 5/5 for that panini! And the service was absolutely great! Very welcoming and helpful. I would come here again to try out other things off the menu!

The Chicken Pesto and Spanish Latte combo is unbeatable! Everyone is nice and welcoming here and service is awesome! P.S. Gatekeeping their Matcha because I want it all to myself.

Another place in the San Fernando Valley that's easy to overlook. The corner of Moorpark and Whitsett is always surprisingly busy, but if you're ever stuck here, look around and you'll find Coffee Fix, everything an independent coffee shop should be. Parking is hit or miss, but I'm sure you'll find some kind of street parking in the neighborhood...how far you want to walk will be up to you, but it's a nice neighborhood so enjoy a walk, it's good for you. Walking in, it looks like any other coffee shop. Wood tables...those red metal chairs...some interesting art and design choices on the wall. The music isn't too loud, an eclectic indie playlist you'll either tune out or enjoy. The vibes here are perfect. The menu is vast and simple. There's plenty of options from your usual coffee choices and a variety of teas and ways to enjoy them. For my first visit, I opted for their honey latte and I tried one of their bagels with cream cheese. I went on a Friday afternoon, thinking it'd be quiet and the place was surprisingly packed. Despite there being a lot of people, service was quick and friendly and I was out of there as soon as my bagel was toasted. The coffee is good. It's a bit bolder and a bit more acidic than say a blonde roast, but the flavor packs a nice punch. I got my honey latte hot, with oat milk, but I feel like their coffee would be better iced, at least for my tastes. The bagel is solid...it's not quite NY style, but it's still way better than most bagels you'll find in Los Angeles. They're very doughy, chewy, and has a nice crunch to the crust. The jalapeno cheddar had a decent bit of heat to it which was balanced nicely by the healthy amount of cream cheese. They have other food too. The pastries are supplied by cake monkey bakery and are one of the best in town that supply all the good coffee shops. By 1pm though, they were out of a lot of stuff so come early (and often). They also have a nice selection of sandwiches and salads if you want something more for lunch. Add another hidden gem to my Yelp infinity gauntlet.

Back again to write another review for one of my favorite hidden gems in the SFV. Coffee fix is the ultimate locals only spot because it's off the beaten path a bit at the intersection of Whitsett and Moorpark (across from the library). I love love love their outdoor seating. They have about 5 or 6 tables maybe outside and it's a great spot to pull up a stroller or your dogs. They even have umbrellas which is super nice because some of the tables are on the sidewalk in the sun. They have inside seating too and it's got the perfect blend of indie coffee shop vibe and cafe. They are always busy but you never have to wait too long for drinks. Food can sometimes take a minute but worth the wait! They give you a little beeper so you can go and sit at your table while you wait. Great people and traffic watching! I looooooove their cold brew. I could drink it all day. Also their pesto chicken panini (which I have raved about in previous reviews) is what I compare all chicken pesto paninis too. The bread is SO crunchy and perfectly toasted. The cheese and the chicken are so yummy...now I'm getting hungry. They also have a variety of pastries and snacks if you are on the go. No matter where I am living in the SFV I've always made the trek here because I love it so much. Great place to work too!

    Vanilla Iced Latte
    Jessica T.

So I was looking for a coffee place and realized I had bookmarked this place but I couldn't figure out why. Since I was in the areas, I decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint! It was a Friday morning and I went with a Vanilla Iced Latte and the Lotto Sandwich on an everything bagel. The lotto sandwhich was freshly made, with the steam still coming out of the sandwhich when I received it. It was like biting into breakfast heaven! I devoured that sandwhich! And considering I normal don't eat breakfast, that was absolutely delicious. The coffee was a perfect pairing with my breakfast bagel. I'm so glad I gave this place a try. Overall just great taste and great vibes

Coffee, coffee, coffee...I live for my coffee fix, so this place had me at the name! The perfect neighborhood spot to grab your 'cup of joe' to go or plant yourself at a table with a friend or to catch up on work. I have only driven past this place a zillion times over the years and finally made my way inside! Not sure why it took me so long! I met a dear friend who I had not seen in many years, and this was the perfect mid way spot. I ordered their "Brown Sugar Latte," and a croissant that I shared with my friend. The entire staff were very hip, young and friendly! Plenty of seats inside and a few tables out front. My latte was tasty and made correctly (which isn't always my experience as you may know!) The croissant was fresh and flaky. *Plenty of free street parking (read street cleaning signs) *Free Wifi *Mom & kid friendly

Truly the best cold tuna sandwich I've had. Attentiveness is always shown by staff. Inviting seating areas to enjoy during my lunch hour. Thank you Tae!

    Lavender Oat milk latte

Bought an iced Lavender oat milk latte. It was pretty good! I liked how the medium comes with 3 shots of espresso. Pretty good balance in sweetness, creaminess and taste of espresso. Good service and enough seating available for a Saturday late morning. Also outdoor seating! Will def come back when I get my nails done next door

There is a couple dedicated parking spaces behind the store. The interior dining room was packed, but they do offer outdoor seating in the front. The person working in the register was very kind and patient. Recommended I try the combo Panini. They were not wrong, it was delicious and the ingredients were fresh. Also had a large vanilla latte. Overall experience was great and the prices are very reasonable, especially for Los Angeles.

So yummy! Great fast service, plenty of tables to sit indoor and outdoor! They were nice enough to add arugula to my bacon cream cheese sandwich. I would definitely come again! When in the valley lol

    Matcha Latte
    Michelle B.

I came by on a Thursday afternoon to grab a drink and have a different place to sit and knit for a while. There is free street parking on Moorpark though I parked on the side street nearby of Babcock Ave for ease of leaving. I brought enough yarn to finish a little over an hour of knitting here. This place was crowded! They offer WiFi and there's a big crowd (enough all the tables were occupied and when someone left, immediately taken) of people working remotely as well as people coming in to order food and drinks and sit and chat. They offer indoor and limited outdoor seating. If you'd like to come here regularly, they offer a punch card where after a certain # of drinks, you can get a free drink. Matcha Latte (hot, with whole milk, unsweetened) 4/5, this is a traditional matcha that is bitter, if you're looking for a sweeter matcha they do offer sweetener. I would have liked a bit more matcha powder for the matcha : milk ratio but otherwise this was nice.

Lotto Bagel Sandwich - clean and fresh ingredients, no greasy at all.
    Melissa N.

Coffee Fix not only has the best coffee but I discovered today they have the best breakfast meals as well. I had the Lotto Bagel which i attached a picture of the half i hadn't eaten yet and as you can see it is not greasy at all which i love (fitness girly) and the ingredients are all so fresh. The service is really quick, I got my items within 5 minutes after ordering. Ambiance of the place is nice, people are there working or studying. Highly recommended this place!

I happened to stroll by the area, as I was checking out the nail spot next door. I wasn't originally expecting to make a coffee run, but life just happens that way sometimes. The barista was super nice, and very welcoming.. even though I was stumbling in the last hour before they close! Power hour! Power hour! I asked for his recommendations as to what iced beverage I should get, and man... I'm glad I went that route. I ended up getting the Spanish latte with oat milk. This was so delicious and the cinnamon did not over power the drink at all or make it chalky! There were a handful of tables, and it wasn't incredibly busy! I can see this being a good place to come on a week day and get some work done :) I will definitely be coming back!

It was 7:58 a.m., and I stopped in to grab my usual coffee before my appointment next door. I accidentally left my wallet at home, my Apple Pay wasn't working, and the only cash I had was a $100 bill. My total was only $8.50. I even offered a simple solution--I asked if another employee could pay for my coffee and I would immediately Zelle them the money. All three employees told me that was "beyond their job duties" and refused to help. Instead, they pointed to the sign stating they don't accept $100 bills and had me leave without making any effort to accommodate a regular customer. The disappointing part isn't that they couldn't break a $100 bill--it's that no one showed even the slightest willingness to help find a solution. I come here almost every Friday because I have appointments at the salon next door, and after this experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. A little kindness and customer service go a long way. Unfortunately, I found neither here.

My husband and I came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all, although almost all the pastries were already sold out, so I'm guessing the real rush is in the mornings. Overall, I personally wasn't a fan, mainly because the drinks and most of the food felt pretty underwhelming and lacked flavor. I ordered the strawberry matcha and it was honestly the most bland matcha I've had, which is surprising considering there was strawberry puree in it. It didn't taste low quality, just very muted and not something I'd order again, especially since I get matcha (and strawberry matcha) pretty often elsewhere. My husband got the pistachio latte and liked it, but mentioned it leaned a bit too sweet for his taste. For food, we tried the breakfast bagel and I genuinely can't believe how bland it was. It had all the components you'd expect, everything bagel, eggs, cheese, aioli, bacon, and more, but somehow it just fell flat. I kept wanting to add salt or some kind of sauce to bring it to life. I actually stopped eating it because it didn't feel worth it to keep going for something so flavorless. The one highlight was the spinach quiche. I really enjoyed it and would come back for that specifically, although it did feel a little pricey for what it was. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, but if someone else wanted to go, I wouldn't object.

Looked in the bag for the caesar dressing that goes with it and NOPE. Not included. Big bummer. Got the cookie special and don't recommend. Tasted like very undercooked cookie dough. Unpleasant. Feels like quality control had the night off. Not a good experience and not sure I would go back. Really unfortunate as we really liked them the first 2 times. But total lack of consistency in a not good way.
