Biscoff Banana Pudding Latte
Katherine D.

Came here to study a couple times and it's pretty nice. I've tried their matcha and a couple lattes. My friends love the matcha, it's got a pretty good and strong flavor and their different syrups and really good! My friends love the banana bread matcha. I will say it's not like the most high quality matcha, but I think it is a good like coffee shop matcha. I really like the lattes here. They have fun syrups and cold foams that are so good. I think if you get your coffee there instead of the to go cups the portions are the slightest bit bigger ;) It's kind of a smaller space and there are decent number of tables but it gets crowded pretty fast and it can be hard to get tables during peak hours. The people who worker here are all so sweet, love talking to them.

They totally adjusted this smoothie for me and made it the way I wanted!

Got food poisoning from the smoked salmon. Probably Scromboid as it started quickly. I'm a physician, and in the mornings I like to come by and have breakfast while reading. Something in my gut was telling me not to have the smoked salmon - screaming - but I ignored it, alas here we are. Diarrhea, stomach ache, nausea, buzzing sensation in my mouth. I just pray this passes quickly because I have things to do. Just judging at the young lady managing the food, she just didn't look too excited about the food preparation. I have noticed some slight issues in the past but overlooked it not wanting to be pessimistic, but I have learned. Case in point - avoid raw seafood, especially where you feel they may not have the best food prep practices.. I'm generally healthy so hopefully I will be fine but I have to warn others. Otherwise, it's a nice place to stop for coffee. I probably won't be back. Would have given one star, but kept it at two because aside from that it has a nice ambiance.

Ube Matcha Latte
Carrie M.

This popular German coffee chain opened its first US location here in Bellaire. It has limited seating with a lot of non-ergonomic tables, although people do take up all the seating and tables to work or study. I got the ube matcha latte for $8, and my friend got a small specialty latte for $6. They have a lot of specialty drinks on their menu. The matcha came in a giant cup, and I wish I could've chosen a smaller size. You can choose the type of milk at no additional cost, although it is definitely built in to their high prices. The matcha latte was too sweet for my liking and did not taste very matcha-y. The parking lot is small, so you may need to find neighbourhood parking.

Some incredible matcha flavors.. the ube one took me by storm, the Berries n Cream flavor was a hit, and that seasonal Snickerdoodle Espresso had us wired. All of their coffee is sourced locally and they also serve sandwiches and snacks. The staff make it easy to settle in for a while. The perfect clean place to get work done or take a business meeting. We will for sure be back.

first time here and i enjoyed myself. first thing i like is that the alternative milks don't cost extra. as a lactose intolerant person that is well welcomed. the amount of syrups and sauces they have to add to your drink is immense which is appreciated. i was intrigued by how big their food section was. ambiance is chic and very inner city vibes. the people were friendly and helpful. i enjoyed it and would recommend people come and try it out.

I stopped by this spot desperately needing a coffee and was amazed at how absolutely adorable this shop is. The personality really shines through the decor. Getting there was a bit challenging as there is limited parking, but we made it inside. I like a neat place, and this shop is neat. The display is appealing and has both its desserts and sandwiches clearly and attractively labeled and displayed. The menu is also quite extensive, with the classics and some fun twists. The servers had a great sense of humor and were also very attentive, paying close attention to requested modifications and making sure that I knew about certain ingredients, which I really apprecitaed. I ordered a drink that I was thrilled to see, the chocolate Frappiato, a drink that combined by faves: Macchiato and Frappuccino. It was absolutely perfect and what I was looking for. The icy and smooth texture and balanced coffee and chocolate flavoring combined to make a tasty drink. I can't wait to go try more items!

Another great coffee shop find in the books. The vibe here is cozy and laidback. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and, while it was buzzing with excitement, it still didn't feel crowded. It's a great spot to catch up with friends or do some light work. Bring earbuds! As for the coffee and food, A+! We tried a lemonade and one of their summer items from around the world (coffee with ice cream from Germany) and they were both refreshing. Their pesto chicken and turkey sandwiches are very flavorful as well.

I miss my old neighborhood. This coffee spot is great for getting some work done or meeting friends for morning coffee. There are some lounge chairs, couches, High bar top seating, table seating pick your choice and enjoy your drink. They offer hot and cold beverages along with snack bakery items if you choose. The only downside is parking lot is pretty small so you might have to park around the corner, but a little exercise never hurt anyone right! LOL

What an interesting avocado toast. Instead of your traditional avocado toast on bread, this cute little coffee shop had it on a bagel and best of all, put the whole sliced avocado on it with the tastiest seasoning, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers! Wow!!!! I'm totally addicted and spend quite a lot of time in this side of town! I will be back very very soon. The customer service was excellent with a staff member promptly cleaning all of the surfaces and making sure they were sanitized. They had comfortable seating which considered leather couches and lounge chairs and tables! They also had outdoor seating too. Free parking in abundance right out front in their shared lot. I also ordered their uber matcha!! Please please order it with coconut milk as your base!!! Sooooo delicious and naturally sweet from the uber mix.

Iced Sugar Cookie Matcha Latte which

This place had been on my list of coffee shops to visit for a while now. It's located in the Bellaire area and isn't too far of a drive from my place. Parking is quite limited. It has its own lot with reserved spots but it's shared with the other businesses that also have their own reserved spots. It's obvious that a lot of people come here to study. There were very few people coming to just enjoy a cup of coffee. I spontaneously decided to order an Iced Sugar Cookie Matcha Latte which was a mistake in retrospect. The latte was too sweet and the matcha was super watered down. While it seemed like a decent place to study and get work done, I was a bit taken aback by how comfortable some people were. Two customers had their shoes off and their feet on the chairs.

iced latte, hot vanilla latte, chocolate croissant, tiramisu, focaccia sandwiches.

I came here for the first time and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They introduced me to the menu and pointed out alternative milk is free of charge. The inside is modern and inviting with enough space for getting work done. I definitely would recommend the hot coffee options here and sandwiches, which were surprisingly affordable. Overall, I think this place exceeded expectations and is a great spot if you like to sit and eat/drink.

Matcha Latte Blueberry Muffin
Khalidah B.

Got a Iced Oat Milk Matcha and it was very good, nice and smooth. I appreciate that they don't charge extra for milk alternatives. I pretty quiet and would be a nice place to get work done away from home. Oh and that blueberry muffin was absolutely delicious so moist, I want one now! This is definitely a go to when I'm in the area.

Turkey, Egg and Cheese sandwich
Shatoyia N.

Stopped here to do some homework on Saturday around 11am. The customer service was okay. The staff doesn't greet upon entry nor suggest anything even after stating this was my first time there. I ordered a green smoothie and turkey, egg and cheese sandwich. Both were really tasty! I don't drink coffee so I can't speak to it. It can get loud at times but I had earphones. They have tables/couches for parties of 2 and up. There is also a front and side patio if you want to enjoy outdoors. The parking was horrible. There are a few exercise places in the same strip center so I waited to a class let out to find a spot. After 10 mins of waiting I finally was able to park. Overall, cute spot but tables fill up quickly during certain times.

2 stars because the interior is charming and spacious. Other than that the coffee is subpar and crazy overpriced.

They have a really big menu as well and some yummy looking treats. We were very full from dinner, so we were only wanting coffee, but we plan to go back very soon to try some of the treats. I am diabetic and eat a lower carb diet, but not super low carb. I did want a little bit of a treat, but not too sweet. The really sweet girl working at the counter was so kind to us and gave us recommendations. I also love that they have decaf options and the decaf is so smooth and tasty. I ended up getting the half sweet decaf pistachio latte and oh my goodness was it delicious. It was so so so good. We are actually planning to try to go back tonight and try some more things. They use Monin syrups for everything which is fine I guess but my matcha just came green and wasn't in any way attractive in the cup. I'm used to having to mix my oat milk and ingredients into the drink, but that was not necessary here. I tasted the drink and did not like it and since it was so pricey, I tried to just get through it, but I ended up taking it back and getting a lavender limeade refresher which ended up just concentrated lemon juice, water and lavender syrup. The drink was three dollars less than what I originally paid for and they gave it to me as an even exchange so that is kind of annoying as well. The people are nice, but I am not sure this is a coffee shop. I plan to return to.

Now about the Richmond location: it's in the shopping strip across the street from Costco. The parking in front of the cafe can be limited so know that going in. This location is also pretty small, so a lot more to go orders than dining in. I met up with a friend there, found a table for two, and it was no problem. Staff are nice and ambience of the cafe is fine - nothing amazingly special. Drinks are fairly priced but can add up after tax and tip. One cool fact is, Luce Ave Coffee is popping up in various HEB grocery stores, so if you have one of those closer to your house and you need to pick up some grocery items anyway, you can get your coffee fix then. I highly recommend you try the Island Latte from Luce if you haven't done so yet!

We. Were. Wrong. This was hands-down, the two worst drinks I've ever had in my entire life. As we were handed the drink, they said, we didn't have a lot of the hibiscus syrup, which was fine because it would just be a little bit less sweet, which was perfect. I swear on my life, what we were given with a cup of water that was tinted pink filled to the rim and my pumpkin drink right when I looked at it, I knew that the color was off. I don't know if it was just an off day for her, but I will never go to that location specifically because I wouldn't wanna have the similar experience. If I could recommend something, it would be taste your drink before you even walk away and don't be afraid to get your money back if the drink does not taste the way it should.
