    Biscoff Banana Pudding Latte
    Katherine D.

Came here to study a couple times and it's pretty nice. I've tried their matcha and a couple lattes. My friends love the matcha, it's got a pretty good and strong flavor and their different syrups and really good! My friends love the banana bread matcha. I will say it's not like the most high quality matcha, but I think it is a good like coffee shop matcha. I really like the lattes here. They have fun syrups and cold foams that are so good. I think if you get your coffee there instead of the to go cups the portions are the slightest bit bigger ;) It's kind of a smaller space and there are decent number of tables but it gets crowded pretty fast and it can be hard to get tables during peak hours. The people who worker here are all so sweet, love talking to them.

I stopped by this spot desperately needing a coffee and was amazed at how absolutely adorable this shop is. The personality really shines through the decor. Getting there was a bit challenging as there is limited parking, but we made it inside. I like a neat place, and this shop is neat. The display is appealing and has both its desserts and sandwiches clearly and attractively labeled and displayed. The menu is also quite extensive, with the classics and some fun twists. The servers had a great sense of humor and were also very attentive, paying close attention to requested modifications and making sure that I knew about certain ingredients, which I really apprecitaed. I ordered a drink that I was thrilled to see, the chocolate Frappiato, a drink that combined by faves: Macchiato and Frappuccino. It was absolutely perfect and what I was looking for. The icy and smooth texture and balanced coffee and chocolate flavoring combined to make a tasty drink. I can't wait to go try more items!

Another great coffee shop find in the books. The vibe here is cozy and laidback. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and, while it was buzzing with excitement, it still didn't feel crowded. It's a great spot to catch up with friends or do some light work. Bring earbuds! As for the coffee and food, A+! We tried a lemonade and one of their summer items from around the world (coffee with ice cream from Germany) and they were both refreshing. Their pesto chicken and turkey sandwiches are very flavorful as well.

I miss my old neighborhood. This coffee spot is great for getting some work done or meeting friends for morning coffee. There are some lounge chairs, couches, High bar top seating, table seating pick your choice and enjoy your drink. They offer hot and cold beverages along with snack bakery items if you choose. The only downside is parking lot is pretty small so you might have to park around the corner, but a little exercise never hurt anyone right! LOL

What an interesting avocado toast. Instead of your traditional avocado toast on bread, this cute little coffee shop had it on a bagel and best of all, put the whole sliced avocado on it with the tastiest seasoning, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers! Wow!!!! I'm totally addicted and spend quite a lot of time in this side of town! I will be back very very soon. The customer service was excellent with a staff member promptly cleaning all of the surfaces and making sure they were sanitized. They had comfortable seating which considered leather couches and lounge chairs and tables! They also had outdoor seating too. Free parking in abundance right out front in their shared lot. I also ordered their uber matcha!! Please please order it with coconut milk as your base!!! Sooooo delicious and naturally sweet from the uber mix.

This place had been on my list of coffee shops to visit for a while now. It's located in the Bellaire area and isn't too far of a drive from my place. Parking is quite limited. It has its own lot with reserved spots but it's shared with the other businesses that also have their own reserved spots. It's obvious that a lot of people come here to study. There were very few people coming to just enjoy a cup of coffee. I spontaneously decided to order an Iced Sugar Cookie Matcha Latte which was a mistake in retrospect. The latte was too sweet and the matcha was super watered down. While it seemed like a decent place to study and get work done, I was a bit taken aback by how comfortable some people were. Two customers had their shoes off and their feet on the chairs.

Clean and cute location with easy parking and nice staff. We had a bunch of specialty coffee items. All were good, nothing especially spectacular.

Kinda had a whirlwind of a time here. First and most importantly the coffee was great. No complaints at all. I got a pretty regular latte. I did lose my lid when I decided to add sugar to my latte. The lids are impossible to put back on and I spilled my drink all over the table trying. But the minus one star is actually related to the cleanliness. It seemed like the two people working were just busy with the constant customers coming in and were having trouble making time to clean up. This meant tables had old cups and trash and crumbs on them. There was also a large pile of dirty dishes at the edge of their bar in a bin. The other issue was the bathroom wasn't out of toilet paper. Another customer had told them about this issue and been told they'd bring some soon. So we waited like 20 minutes or so and nothing happened. The other customer decided to just take a bunch of napkins because she couldn't wait. I went and reminded the employees hoping they just forgot. They said something like okay thank you and I went back and waited at the bathroom. More time went by and I also gave up. I eventually moved outside to their nice outdoor seating and I did see them start to clean the tables up when they caught a break. They don't have a lot of room behind the bar so I'm not sure if three employees could work at the same time but something should maybe be figured out so they're not so bombarded.

Got a Iced Oat Milk Matcha and it was very good, nice and smooth. I appreciate that they don't charge extra for milk alternatives. I pretty quiet and would be a nice place to get work done away from home. Oh and that blueberry muffin was absolutely delicious so moist, I want one now! This is definitely a go to when I'm in the area.

Stopped here to do some homework on Saturday around 11am. The customer service was okay. The staff doesn't greet upon entry nor suggest anything even after stating this was my first time there. I ordered a green smoothie and turkey, egg and cheese sandwich. Both were really tasty! I don't drink coffee so I can't speak to it. It can get loud at times but I had earphones. They have tables/couches for parties of 2 and up. There is also a front and side patio if you want to enjoy outdoors. The parking was horrible. There are a few exercise places in the same strip center so I waited to a class let out to find a spot. After 10 mins of waiting I finally was able to park. Overall, cute spot but tables fill up quickly during certain times.

Coffee Fellow has been my favorite consistent spot for a while now. Food is good, coffee is good. Overall consistent place. Staff is kind and always helpful. One night i came to do school work and stayed for the Jazz night.

I'm so surprised I did not get kicked out of this place, because I was totally in the zone for several hours while working. I found a cozy corner in the back and set up my laptop to work. To fuel my work ethic to be successful, I ordered a large iced vanilla latte. The expresso was great and the latte was not too sweet. The place stayed pretty busy from the time I arrived until I left which was a pretty sign is amount of time. The staff was super sweet and greeted me upon entering their establishment. They also never said a word to me as far as being their too long and I didn't feel any pressure that I was in the way at all. I will definitely be returning here soon. Happy Yelping!

The German coffee chain has finally made it to the US, with Bellaire as it's firs tlocation in North America. Currently there is only one other location, which is in Katy. It's not a particularly large spot and not exactly the most convenient with its semi-tight parking and easy-to-miss sign due to the cluster of businesses sandwiched in the 4900 building on Bissonnet. Yet they're semi-new as of this summer and making good strides overall for the neighborhood. My appreciation goes beyond the drinks. Let me count the ways: :: The drinks are typical, but well made. There are the usual coffee classics that include cortados, cappuccinos, lattes, and the like. They make a mean chai matcha latte and I think their cold brew also merits a thumbs up. I have yet to try the smoothies, which will be my next thirsty conquest. :: There are also a number of atypical items that were listed as summer specials the last time I was in. I am not against the frappiatos, despite their likeness to frappuccinos and think they're probably the sweetest drinks on the menu. The homemade soft drinks are very intriguing and the pommi (pomegranate juice, lime juice, ginger ale, fresh ginger) and the sunny (passion fruit nectar, lime juice, ginger ale) are my front runners for now. :: The interior is bright, clean, and very welcoming. The bathrooms are super clean, the living room feel is relaxing, and it's an ideal place to work. The chairs that line up along the counter facing the street are some of the comfiest tall chairs I've sat in. There's also some very fast free WiFi and a decent number of outlets to boot. :: I'm so pleased with the service. They're all smiles and they do a good job of ensuring most wait times are minimal. They were great about answering my questions while being awesome all at the same time. Bring any dirty cups to the counter and they'll take care of it. The only things I'm not super fond of is that very tight parking. The lot has some serious overflow during many days of the week, forcing patrons to consider the street. I've been fortunate to find the spots that I do, but I tend to come during non-peak hours. ____________ (#1) As of November 2023

Soon as you enter, you head straight to the counter to order. From there, you're given a number and choose your seat. Booth and table options are available. On a Thursday afternoon, the place wasn't busy but not empty, which gave my Mom and I the opportunity to catch up without a noisy dining room. The food came out fresh and hot and for the price, we were surprised by the portion since its was the $10 HH burger and fries. The fountain drinks were interesring as well. DS does not have Coke or Pepsi products. They have similiar flavors you would find with those brands. I enjoyed the Mexican Coke. It seemed to not be as fizzy aa your own well know caffenated Compadres but still carried a great flavor. Let me not skip over the dessert! Mom LOVED the pecan pie which she states had whole pecans instead of pieces. I did not wven notice that she had been getting pieces of the pie as we talked. Half of it was gone when we left. That means is pretty scrumptous! I had enough willpower to eat my chocolate chip cookie when I got home and it was worth the wait! Not only is the cookie huge, but the semi sweet chocolate and sea salt is chef's kiss. Grat combo of both worlds. Combine that with the crunchy outisude and chewy, gooey interior and this is one of the best cookies I've tasted in a long time. So glad to dish all this goodness to Yelpers and remind them of another gem in West U that will not only give you a great place to get a bite but satisfy that sweet tooth.

We sat at a booth/table combo. Drinks (4.5/5): I love when a restaurant has more than your standard selection of soft drinks. You'll find that at Dish Society. They have "craft" sodas and a nice selection of juice blends. Plus sweet and unsweet tea. Food (4/5): I went with a cup of the tomato bisque soup and the Nutella French toast. The soup tasted as good as it looked. Some croutons or a piece of garlic bread would have been nice, but outside of that, this starter couldn't have been better. The Nutella French Toast was similarly well done. I love French Toast and I love Nutella. So this was a match made in heaven. Along with some sliced strawberries and some blackberries, I was happy I went with a breakfast dish for dinner (they serve brunch all day). The prices are affordable for the quality of the food. My only complaint? The portion sizes are pretty small. Case in point: two slices of French toast when most places will give you four. Pro tip: Join their club for discounts.

Only feedback about seating was outside parties would take chairs from other tables and leave them with no seating and not all tables we're shaded. The drinks being available at the bar when it is busy and then food being delivered to the table was a bit clunky. I picked up water and utensils for our party before sitting and would have preferred to have to pick everything up at the counter or have everything brought to the table to avoid multiple trips around when the restaurant is busy.

The interior has an industrial vibe, with the high ceilings and overhead fixtures, but as converted into a solid dining space. The large tilted mirrors in the main area are reminiscent of the now defunct Helen's (#3) and makes for a fun (or perhaps distracting) visual. The spacious layout allows breathing room for all kinds of groups. Service has been good overall, and prompt throughout every visit. The American bistro inspired menu has a decent amount of variety that spans from brunch to a tasty weeknight dinner and a drink. Their starters have a variety of tasty bites that include the white truffle eggs, wicked wings, prosciutto-melon burrata, Mama Pauley's meatballs, and a very addicting chipotle pimento cheese dip. While I appreciate the vegan-friendly hippie chickpea croquettes, it needed just a bit more seasoning. Their bacon double cheeseburger has been deemed "insta-famous" and it certainly didn't disappoint. It's juicy, a little messy, but a lot delicious. It paired well with their large cut fries (consider upgrading to the truffle fries), but the house made chips are also a good light bite. Their salads are equally fabulous from their classic caesar to a hearty cobb salad. I wasn't as impressed with the crunchy Asian salad, but thought their faro salad was a thumbs up. Understandably, the priciest meals are some of their grilled and house specialty meals, such as a prime tenderloin filet ($42), Mediterranean roasted redfish ($36), twelve hour ribs ($29), and rosemary-lemon chicken ($29), all of which are solid. I feel the buttermilk chicken tender platter ($19) is really meant for children, but is great for any tender lover in the bunch. What really sets this place apart, though, is the unique ambiance--the outdoor patio is such a vibe with all the greenery and manicured scenery. It feels like a serene escape right in the middle of the city. They are also very accommodating with dietary preferences, which I really appreciate, being gluten free. Everything from the view to the last bite was top-tier!

By accident, I was at a different Milk & Cookies (where Tiny No. 5 is) so I drove the 10 minutes or so. For someone not from the area, this was in a very unexpected area at the corner of Alabama and Saint St., hidden from the street. I was lucky to find a spot right by the door, but as soon as I got out of my car, the rain started to fall. I made my way quickly to the hostess stand (who were in the process of moving indoors) and they said the bar was open/seat yourself. Found a perfect spot right inside, and was given a menu by the nice bar staff. I had a few things in mind, but I decided on the lunch risotto. This arrived quickly, and I dug right in, especially enjoying the roasted carrots with the lemon parmesan risotto. There were other vegetables-some I couldn't even identify-but the ones I did try all blended together nicely. Being a lunch dish, the size was smaller which was perfect for me. Bar area became much busier since some parties from outside came in due to the downpour, so the establishment went from somewhat quiet to much louder, but everything still seemed to be running smoothly. Service was nice, and I'm glad I was able to visit this location after years of following them! I look forward to trying other restaurants under their name-

Easy to go when app is working and there's rewards Areas to improve 1. There is a 5% included to go fee just FYI 2. This mashed potato here is very bland and salty compared to San Felipe location. We could not finish our individual servings and did not even give it to the dogs today. It tasted like the dry flakes you buy at the supermarket and mix with milk and the texture was not right. 3. Very boring and bland cheeseburger, very forgettable. The patty was very slim. 4. Helpful to have quality control with the two restaurants, it acts like two different restaurants even though menu is the same! Also I just saw the health report listed. 5. Salmon was raw in the middle when we asked for medium well. 6. Not sure we will eat the chicken and green beans for tomorrow... I prefer their San Felipe location of which I am a regular patron, and came here due to Galleria construction, but given today's very bland or salty food, which was not satisfying at all, I must head back there. This was the worse to go and pick up experience I can think of in a while. My order was $100 plus today for several meals...

Only problem that I have is that the salads don't provide enough toppings in my taste. Mostly lettuce. Will dine again, Bob B.
