Super cute coffee shop, with a "normal" menu and about 10-12 different syrups. While the syrups are not made in house they do have a good variety. They have the traditional vanilla and caramel along with more unique ones such as lavender. I just ordered my go to- a Carmel iced coffee. Very pleased, is nice and strong! I was really impressed with the customer service at this location. I ordered an iced coffee and dirty chai, the barista asked if I wanted a spicy honey chai or a golden dirty chai, then said "Oh! We love this place. It's locally owned. It's veteran owned. They serve Black Rifle Coffee which is also veteran owned. I always order a latte or a cappuccino. My husband orders black coffee. It is good every time. Less expensive than Starbucks and tastes better. Convenient to several hotels. My ONLY complaint is that their hours can vary and we showed up one morning (in January) at 8 and the shop didn't open until 9. That was disappointing. read more

Loved the coffee, loved the motto and the vision and support for those who put their lives on the line. I picked up a few of there shirts, decals and beyond black coffee and ak expresso. Love a strong coffee and these were recommend. I also picked up a cold brew with oak milk and some Splenda that was very flavorful. Great coffee spot. I ordered a medium iced cold brew with butterscotch and toffee crunch flavoring, addition to their oat milk (which I'm glad they have as an alternative)! My latte was made with burnt coffee. I am a huge fan of coffee and even roast my own beans. The latte, normally made with AK espresso, tasted bitter and like it was stirred with a lit cigar. Delicious coffee. I got a vanilla frappe with toffee crunch flavor. One barista but I was there when it was slow in January. My mother got a chai tea with two shots of espresso to make a chai tea latte.. I do not think this is what she was used to. My boyfriend got the yippee li yay hot coffee (which I picked and ordered for him cause I thought it was different) he said it was ok because he wasn't expecting the bourbon chili flavor. The only complaint I have is that 4% increase if you pay with card. Most places do not do this as mostly everyone pays by card now especially in tourist areas. However, I understand because I'm sure the fees are phenomenal as big credit companies are greedy. read more

Was looking to try a local coffee shop that served up a good strong iced coffee. Enjoyed my cold brew with a hint of vanilla and cream. The coffee here is really good, but there was nothing else that stood out in terms of specialty drink offerings, no house made syrups, etc. You are also left to add your own cream from those tiny individual creamers. I am hoping this is due to the pandemic, but it creates a lot of waste and I would have preferred the barista add my cream. They use paper straws - plus. The theme is military, which is neat (they use Black Rifle Coffee). They have some neat old military vehicle out front and sell some pretty nice t-shirts with the Black Rifle Coffee logo. This is the place to go for a good strong, smooth coffee, but not for a fancy coffee drink. For real coffee drinkers! read more

Love the gear and retail items! Grabbed a couple of pounds of coffee and some gear for Christmas gifts, but (and I hate to leave a "but") the regular brewed coffee was weak - both the dark and medium roasts. The line was too long to ask about it. We will be back next time we are in town and hope the drip brewed coffee packs more punch next time. The coffee was great, but I'm a little concerned with the sanitization practice of this business. We walked in and noticed that one of the baristas behind the counter was touching his face and hat extensively and then continued to drink from a cup behind the counter and pulled out his phone to text (all in front of customers). I've worked in various coffee shops and the practices behind the counter of this coffee shop went against health code in every way. Please work on this!
