    Bottomless Mimosas
    Katheryn B.

We came here for Brunch on a Saturday and it was so great! First of all, this place is super cute! There's plenty of opportunities to take really cute photos, and it's very open with lots of seating! They also have an outdoor seating area as well, which is so great! We ordered the Huevos Rancheros, Carne Asada & Eggs, and the Churro Donut Holes from the brunch menu, along with bottomless mimosas (which were $25 per person). The food was absolutely delicious, and so were the mimosas! Lastly, our server, Bree, was wonderful as well! She gave us recommendations for brunch, appetizers, and lunch! Overall, we would definitely come back here! Highly recommend!!

We sat outside as the weather was nice! Great ambiance. Our server was Brie! She was knowledgeable, honest and directed us to the Carne asada fries.....they have a great flavor with a hint of sweet from the pickled jalapeños. Of course you can substitute. It was a pleasant surprise. I got the fajita chicken nachos (3 people can eat this amount) and my husband got the carne asada plate, meat was cooked to perfection! All in all great place and take it over some other new places any day. I don't post many reviews, this is a place to

Brunch at Coconut Grove in Kemah

Best burger I've had in a long time! Ambiance is great - ample seating inside, including at the bar and high top tables, and a large outdoor seating area as well. Bar/restaurant atmosphere with an extensive food and drink menu but also great for families with children. Offer live music on the patio, happy hour and other specials. Many TVs available to watch sports. Brunch menu on the weekends.

    Crab nachos

We ordered the $23.95 crab nachos. They forget to put the crab on the nachos. You can see from the picture that it is a stack of chips with a small amount of toppings. Not worth $23.95. When we were able to finally flag the waitress down awhile later, she didn't see the crab either. She brought out hot crab eventually to add to the cold nachos. This should have been remade correctly, as we would have liked to have enjoyed a hot meal. We had also ordered the shrimp and bacon quesadillas, those were good. When we were done eating what we were going to eat, I had to go find her to get a box and our ticket. We took the nachos home to try to reheat and add cheese. Not happy with the nachos or the service today.

Fajitas for 2 - Thai BBQ style

Overall: Potentially a fun place; if we had come for alcoholic drinks, might have enjoyed more. Could be very fun for a night out, especially if sitting out on patio. I'd recommend trying if you wanted something different than normal Tex-Mex. Staff/service was great. Price was comparable to other sit down places: queso and chips = $11, fajitas for two = $48. ($80 for two, after tip, with water and tea only). First time here, on a Saturday ~12:15 pm. Ambiance was nice, with some TVs playing sports, good music with a beat, and lots of nice color inside. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Bathrooms clean as well. Motif is latin, with Cuban vibes. Managers came by several times asking how everything was and if we needed anything. Nice looking outdoor patio, but we didn't check that out. Drink menu looked extensive, but didn't imbibe this trip. We ordered the chips and queso as an appetizer, and fajitas for 2 (Thai BBQ style) as meal. Pros: Food portions were large, and ended up taking essentially a whole other meal home. Chicken fajitas were super tender and moist; very nice. The Thai BBQ fajitas came with a very tasty peanut sauce. Service was excellent; both servers and managers very attentive throughout entire meal service. Appreciated that each person on fajitas for two meal got their own beans and rice. Choice of sauces that came with fajitas was very nice: peanut sauce, butter sauce, and some kind of gravy? (Au jus'ish?) Cons: Chips were so-so; reminded me of re-cooked Tostitos and many broken, small pieces like we had the bottom of the bag. Beef in beef fajitas were too rare for me; a bit too chewy. Tortillas were smallish; but it could have been that I was just used to the monster tortillas in other Tex-Mex places. Would have liked for more shredded cheese with fajitas. Try it out!

There was 4 of these very tiny for the price

The seating and the welcoming was very well but the price point for certain sections wasn't at a good price eggrolls were 12 bucks for two small things

We ended up not going because of the wait but I went back with a friend earlier today and it was REALLY good. Like insanely good. I got the Chicken and Gravy while my friend got the Chicken and Waffles and we both finished our plates cleanly. The service was slow, yes, but they were extremely nice and did have multiple prefaces regarding the wait time. The only I had food wise was that the candied sweet potatoes were a little too sweet for me (and trust me, I love myself some candied sweet potatoes) and I feel like the okra or another one of the sides would've been a better fit for me. The chicken I had was extremely tender and juicy, and the gravy had the perfect amount of sweet and salty where I just gobbled it down with everything. The vibe is nice and homey and overall this place was just great. It for sure isn't someplace you can rush through in 30 minutes, but that kinda adds to the experience that you get the minute you walk in.

My vehicle broke down at the dock at Lakeside Yachting Center during a storm, and I couldn't find a tow company willing to come get me. I ended up being stuck at the dock overnight. The staff at Seabrook Classic Cafe were incredibly kind and let me come in to charge my phone while I figured things out. I was very hungry, so I ordered their egg sandwich, and it was fresh and delicious. Even though I live about an hour away, that experience made such a good impression that I came back later to try more of their menu. I'm happy to say everything else I tried was just as good. The stuffed jalapenos were excellent, very flavorful and stuffed with crab and cheese. I also ordered the chicken fried chicken, which was great, especially with their toast. The fruit bowl was fresh, and of course I had to get another egg sandwich, which was just as good as I remembered. They even brought us a complimentary slice of carrot cake, and it was fantastic. I'll definitely be coming back again to get more of that carrot cake, and next time I'd also love to try their prime rib. Our server was very friendly, and I really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. It has a cozy, retro diner feel that makes it a great place to sit down and relax. This restaurant has absolutely earned my business. Even though I live an hour away, I make multiple trips to the South, and I'll definitely be stopping here often!

I've been coming here for many years and my most recent visit reminded me why it's stuck around for so long. We came in for lunch on a weekday. While there wasn't a wait, it was still fairly busy with tables moving in and out. The setting is super casual - laminated menus are at the table for use. Our server this time was Kayla, who was super friendly and efficient. I normally go for the Squealer, which is almost a standard burger with lettuce, tomato, and pickles; however the burger patty is sprinkled with bacon throughout. Can you imagine just how great that smells and tastes!? The rest of the table ordered that, but this time I decided to venture out. I went for the Rodeo Burger (Southern), which comes with bbq sauce, bacon, jalapeños, cheese, and topped with their Hula Hoops (onion strings). The burger was SO BIG when it came out, they had to place the top bun next to the burger. I struggled to fit this one into my mouth, as it was so big. But delicious! The patty was juicy and all of the toppings brought the southern flavor together well. For sides, we got the Fried Mushrooms, Onion Rings, Tater Tots, and Sweet Potato Fries. Super healthy, I know. But so dang good. Everything was crispy and steaming hot as you bit into it. All of the sides are very reasonably priced - the mushrooms were under $7 and the rest were even cheaper than that for generous portions. Our table of 4 struggled to finish these, as we were already pretty stuffed from our burgers. I will always appreciate Tookie's for a solid burger in the Clear Lake/Seabrook neighborhood. Food wise, Gouda Mushroom Burger is fantastic every time. A great mix of flavors, and a hefty burger, you will not be disappointed. Every time we have come here, someone gets it. The fries are also well seasoned and tasty. Highly recommend. I ordered the Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Chicken. This was absolutely fantastic. Served over a bed of sauteed serrano slaw (which was amazing, I usually don't like slaw), this delightful concoction was stuffed with cream cheese spinach artichoke and cream cheese with a balsamic glaze over the top. It comes with very good mashed potatoes. I don't like most restaurants potatoes, so that's a bonus win. Really enjoyed, would get it again. The beer! They have a really good menu that rotates. They have local craft brews, in addition to your standard domestics. They also have ciders for those that don't fancy a beer. Our last visit I had a Belgian Tripel, and a Pumpkin Stout. Delish! A great spot for a lunch or chill dinner. Plenty of tv space for games. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
