    Mahi mahi tacos
    Gab B.

We went here to try this new place for the first time... and the last time. My husband had a $42 rib eye that was tender but fatty. (We took the rest home for the dogs.) It came with a strange combination of red potatoes and spicy queso. I had the mahi mahi tacos that tasted like they were covered in funnel cake batter and not pineapple habanero glaze. I had a $15 cocktail that was good but not worth the price. The live music was great! I left with a stomachache. Still not sure why they call it a coastal kitchen with so few seafood items on the menu. Overall, not worth the $100 bill.

The food was great. We got the ribeye and it was delicious. The drinks are good. Service is good. They are very attentive. I had a great experience. I can't wait to stop by more often.

We sat outside as the weather was nice! Great ambiance. Our server was Brie! She was knowledgeable, honest and directed us to the Carne asada fries.....they have a great flavor with a hint of sweet from the pickled jalapeños. Of course you can substitute. It was a pleasant surprise. I got the fajita chicken nachos (3 people can eat this amount) and my husband got the carne asada plate, meat was cooked to perfection! All in all great place and take it over some other new places any day. I don't post many reviews, this is a place to

Best burger I've had in a long time! Ambiance is great - ample seating inside, including at the bar and high top tables, and a large outdoor seating area as well. Bar/restaurant atmosphere with an extensive food and drink menu but also great for families with children. Offer live music on the patio, happy hour and other specials. Many TVs available to watch sports. Brunch menu on the weekends.

Fajitas for 2 - Thai BBQ style

Overall: Potentially a fun place; if we had come for alcoholic drinks, might have enjoyed more. Could be very fun for a night out, especially if sitting out on patio. I'd recommend trying if you wanted something different than normal Tex-Mex. Staff/service was great. Price was comparable to other sit down places: queso and chips = $11, fajitas for two = $48. ($80 for two, after tip, with water and tea only). First time here, on a Saturday ~12:15 pm. Ambiance was nice, with some TVs playing sports, good music with a beat, and lots of nice color inside. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Bathrooms clean as well. Motif is latin, with Cuban vibes. Managers came by several times asking how everything was and if we needed anything. Nice looking outdoor patio, but we didn't check that out. Drink menu looked extensive, but didn't imbibe this trip. We ordered the chips and queso as an appetizer, and fajitas for 2 (Thai BBQ style) as meal. Pros: Food portions were large, and ended up taking essentially a whole other meal home. Chicken fajitas were super tender and moist; very nice. The Thai BBQ fajitas came with a very tasty peanut sauce. Service was excellent; both servers and managers very attentive throughout entire meal service. Appreciated that each person on fajitas for two meal got their own beans and rice. Choice of sauces that came with fajitas was very nice: peanut sauce, butter sauce, and some kind of gravy? (Au jus'ish?) Cons: Chips were so-so; reminded me of re-cooked Tostitos and many broken, small pieces like we had the bottom of the bag. Beef in beef fajitas were too rare for me; a bit too chewy. Tortillas were smallish; but it could have been that I was just used to the monster tortillas in other Tex-Mex places. Would have liked for more shredded cheese with fajitas. Try it out!

    Crab nachos

We ordered the $23.95 crab nachos. They forget to put the crab on the nachos. You can see from the picture that it is a stack of chips with a small amount of toppings. Not worth $23.95. When we were able to finally flag the waitress down awhile later, she didn't see the crab either. She brought out hot crab eventually to add to the cold nachos. This should have been remade correctly, as we would have liked to have enjoyed a hot meal. We had also ordered the shrimp and bacon quesadillas, those were good. When we were done eating what we were going to eat, I had to go find her to get a box and our ticket. We took the nachos home to try to reheat and add cheese. Not happy with the nachos or the service today.

Fantastic food, everything we had was perfection! The service was excellent and they've created a little oasis over there, we absolutely loved it!!!!!

There was 4 of these very tiny for the price

A large, soft, salty pretzel and creamy, decadent dip made this app a 10/10. Then we tried a couple of cups of gumbo which had the best roux I have ever tasted... Another 10!!! I could just order a pretzel and a bowl of gumbo and be completely satisfied with my meal here. For our mains we got the sticky chicken and fried catfish. Sticky chicken was a little sweet for my taste 7/10 and the catfish was perfect, another 10/10. The sides were good but the jalapeno blueberry coleslaw stole the show. If you're ever in the area this restaurant is a must try! They'll be moving to a new location soon and I hope it has the same cozy feel as this original location.

A small one crawling on the wall near our table and someone from my party saw a larger one crawling near the kitchen. And boy was it stuffy in there. I asked our waitress if she could move a floor fan near for some relief and to detour the gnats, she said she go ask but she never came back and when she did she completely forgot my request. We weren't seated in the greater eating area where it was cooler and maybe where the gnats were less of a bother. The food was delicious and homemade, you can tell it was made with high quality ingredients and that Southern skill that you can only get from helping Grandma in the kitchen. BUT the roaches made us lose our appetite. Such a shame. It seemed like the building went down. They don't seem to put as much effort into the condition of that place as they do the food. Dusty ceiling fans and crummy floors. I appreciate the homey vibe but it looked really junky, more stuff piled in unoccupied corners as before. I gave a lot of things the side eye, I mean it there has to be maintained asthetic. They charged an 18% gratuity on my tab for a party of 8 but I arrived with 4 people, the other 4 had already been there, paid and was almost done with their meal. Then of course the cashier/waitress still mentioned an additional, optional tip. I didn't think that was fair. At the end of it all she wasn't the best waitress.

My vehicle broke down at the dock at Lakeside Yachting Center during a storm, and I couldn't find a tow company willing to come get me. I ended up being stuck at the dock overnight. The staff at Seabrook Classic Cafe were incredibly kind and let me come in to charge my phone while I figured things out. I was very hungry, so I ordered their egg sandwich, and it was fresh and delicious. Even though I live about an hour away, that experience made such a good impression that I came back later to try more of their menu. I'm happy to say everything else I tried was just as good. The stuffed jalapenos were excellent, very flavorful and stuffed with crab and cheese. I also ordered the chicken fried chicken, which was great, especially with their toast. The fruit bowl was fresh, and of course I had to get another egg sandwich, which was just as good as I remembered. They even brought us a complimentary slice of carrot cake, and it was fantastic. I'll definitely be coming back again to get more of that carrot cake, and next time I'd also love to try their prime rib. Our server was very friendly, and I really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. It has a cozy, retro diner feel that makes it a great place to sit down and relax. This restaurant has absolutely earned my business. Even though I live an hour away, I make multiple trips to the South, and I'll definitely be stopping here often!

Service each time has been fast, and consistent. All of the staff we have worked with knew the menu, and had great suggestions. They also frequently checked in on us and we didn't wait too long for anything. The most recent visit had Brad working with us, and he did a great job. Food wise, Gouda Mushroom Burger is fantastic every time. A great mix of flavors, and a hefty burger, you will not be disappointed. Every time we have come here, someone gets it. The fries are also well seasoned and tasty. Highly recommend. I ordered the Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Chicken. This was absolutely fantastic. Served over a bed of sauteed serrano slaw (which was amazing, I usually don't like slaw), this delightful concoction was stuffed with cream cheese spinach artichoke and cream cheese with a balsamic glaze over the top. It comes with very good mashed potatoes. I don't like most restaurants potatoes, so that's a bonus win. Really enjoyed, would get it again. The beer! They have a really good menu that rotates. They have local craft brews, in addition to your standard domestics. They also have ciders for those that don't fancy a beer. Our last visit I had a Belgian Tripel, and a Pumpkin Stout. Delish! A great spot for a lunch or chill dinner. Plenty of tv space for games. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
