The food was good- the shrimp gumbo was delicious but the shrimp were so big you had to take em out to cut them to enjoy- but that's not a problem. The crawfish was meh- no flavor-but nice size and garlic butter helped. The chicken wrap was good and plentiful. Overall not my first choice when we come into town. Hopefully they can fix staffing and being more timely!

It was not like a nice hot fluffy potato should be. I ordered sautéed mushrooms to go on my steak and never have I tasted anything this bad. It tasted like burnt, dirty, greasy grill. I couldn't eat either the mushrooms or potato. My side salad, was lousy, a 7 year old could have done a better job. I didn't dine in so I can't attest to how that is but for $33.00 for just one meal, I was extremely disappointed. So many places are not upholding the good ole, "make good food, make return customers" and Gators unfortunately is one of them. If you don't make consistently good food, expect to lose customers. There are way too many other options. I highly doubt I'll ever eat here again.

I have never been so offended by someone waiting on me but Sarah (the evening bartender) made me feel very discriminated against. She did not want to wait on me and made all customers there in my area look at me like it was me doing something. She ignored me when I moved from a table to the bar, spilled my drink and when I asked for a manager, no one responded. It wasn't until I said I'll deal with the general manager in the morning and she didn't know if I was a mystery shopper or not....did she try to apologize. Of course at that moment all the other customers/regulars were gone. I was very disappointed and very offended. I don't know if I'll ever go back and that's ashame. My vehicle broke down at the dock at Lakeside Yachting Center during a storm, and I couldn't find a tow company willing to come get me. I ended up being stuck at the dock overnight. The staff at Seabrook Classic Cafe were incredibly kind and let me come in to charge my phone while I figured things out. I was very hungry, so I ordered their egg sandwich, and it was fresh and delicious. Even though I live about an hour away, that experience made such a good impression that I came back later to try more of their menu. I'm happy to say everything else I tried was just as good. The stuffed jalapenos were excellent, very flavorful and stuffed with crab and cheese. I also ordered the chicken fried chicken, which was great, especially with their toast. The fruit bowl was fresh, and of course I had to get another egg sandwich, which was just as good as I remembered. They even brought us a complimentary slice of carrot cake, and it was fantastic. I'll definitely be coming back again to get more of that carrot cake, and next time I'd also love to try their prime rib. Our server was very friendly, and I really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. It has a cozy, retro diner feel that makes it a great place to sit down and relax.
