It's so amazing so finally have dirty sodas in the area! I was AMAZED with the one I got (a cyclops!) it was delicious and the prices were amazing. Can't recommend enough and I will be back!

It was my first trip to cocos sodas and it was a good one! It was rather busy for a Saturday afternoon, but the lines moved quickly! They have a lot of cool drinks and I liked the one i got a lot. My friends apparently go all the time---they're hooked! Shop was cute and service was great!

We had heard of but never had nor really knew what a dirty soda was when we happened upon Coco's Sodas + Sweets.  Apparently, a dirty soda is a soda or lemonade etc. with add ins such as coconut cream, or puree or syrups.  Or, if you are a kid or kid at heart, you can also add in gummies, peeps, cotton candy...  I think that's what the sweets part of the name stands for because the only thins we saw to eat were pretzel bites.  The afternoon we were there, the place was jammed!  The line moved fast but people continued to pour in.  They said they were offering a special and that's why it was so popular but it had to be more than that.  We ordered two drinks.  One was sprite based - the skeleton and the other was cola based (we swapped out the pepsi for coke).  Both were carbonated and so refreshing but we both liked the sprite based one better because you could taste more of the add in flavors.    Coco's is conveniently located with parking in the lot out front.  There is very limited seating both inside and outside but the large majority of their customers on the day we were there did take out.  The staff was very nice although super busy and everyone seemed to be in a cheerful mood for such a hot day.  I think the idea is interesting though I'm not sure we could taste enough of the add ins to warrant a special trip

I ordered this for pickup and I'm so glad I came here! It was my first time trying a dirty soda - I'm not huge into soda but my fiancé is a huge fan so we decided to check it out. This place completely changed my mind about soda!! I got the pipeline which has Coke, pineapple syrup, coconut syrup, and coconut cream. We subbed the coke out for Coke Zero. This drink was awesome! I was afraid the pineapple would come across as really acidic but it was very subtle. My fiancé and I drank it faster than we'd like to admit. Can't wait to come back!

Yes and yes! I heard this place opened and was dying to come. As a non-drinker, I appreciate a fun soda business. There are so many options, so I asked the staff what they recommended. They were super helpful and walked me through the menu of their favorites and what people tend to order. I got the Nags head, which was dr. Pepper, coconut cream, coconut syrup and lime. The lime made it, wow it tasted like Hawaii. I think they said this was the most popular. My husband got the cyclops, and I liked the Nags head better. I will be back next time I am in the area!

My favorite place for dirty sodas! Always quick and great service and I cannot wait to try more drinks. My top three drinks are Witches Rock, Nazare, and Jailbreaks.

The shaved ice at Coco's is spectacular! It brings me right back to Hawaii and the flavors are so incredible. We frequently come to Coco's and have only have had good experiences. My favorite is the Hanalei shaved I've but I've tried many different ones and loved them all

I am here for the same reason I would presume many others are and that is the Instagram content and frankly viral interest that this establishment has inspired!!! I learned about "dirty sodas" from sonic but this spot truly blows this trend out of the water. The menu is extremely impressive with combinations that I would've never expected! It is very difficult to walk in and only order one soda. I really loved the minimal Decker with a little bit of a beachy fun vibe. It reminded me of the Outer Banks. The service here is absolutely lovely and friendly. The young ladies behind the counter gave me great suggestions on their most ordered sodas. I was planning to order a classic soda, a Diet Coke with coconut cream and a twist of lime... But ultimately, I ended up trying this with diet Dr Pepper as the base- an item on the menu called the "Nags Head". The diet Dr Pepper as a base really adds a layer of mild spice and versatility to the beverage and each sip was a new exploration!!! I would have to say that this one was my favorite. I also ordered the "Tubes" with a sprite base and a cherry flavor. It was as the lady behind the bar, said "an elevated Shirley Temple". Cool to see how popular this place is amongst people of all ages. Really nice to see how there was some small board game set up inside with small seating and larger seating options outside. I saw individuals run on in for their caffeine kick of the day and walk out very happy sipping away just as much as I saw friends and groups, ordering their sodas and sitting down and chatting up the afternoon. This shopping center has plenty of parking so no worries here. Right after I tried it I instantly told my little brother about how he had to try this spot ASAP and told all my coworkers needless to say I will be back very soon.

Yep - I came here because I watched the secret lives of mormon wives, and was looking for a vibe similar to "Swig" like I saw on the show, lol. I got "the coco" - a diet coke with coconut and lime flavors, and absolutely loved it. It wasn't too "complicated" for me, and was such a delicious touch to a typical diet coke! My partner got one of the energy drink ones and enjoyed it, although he did say it was slightly sweet for his tastes (I'm sure this can be adjusted if you bring it up to the staff - # of pumps and whatnot). Very cool to give a try, and when I'm in the area I will absolutely be stopping in!

My special concoction haha - Cloudbreak
Kimberly K.

Cocos is such a great find. The staff gave perfect drink suggestions. My husband ordered a Coke with cranberry syrup, fresh lime, and whipped cream, and he loved it. I had the Cloudbreak and enjoyed every sip. We drove from North Potomac to Vienna and it was absolutely worth it. We will be returning.

Snapper (lemonade with green apple syrup and whipped cream)

Good dirty soda but I don't think anything extraordinary where I would go out of my way for. There were many different soda combinations. We tried the Witches Rock (sprite with strawberry and mango puree), Cyclops (root beer with butterscotch syrup and vanilla cream), and Supertubes (sprite with cherry syrup and vanilla cream). All three were good. It's nice they have a kids menu and both of my kids shared the snapper (lemonade with green apple and whipped cream). The kids weren't a fan of their drink. They wanted hot chocolate but it wasn't being served at the time. Also, they serve Hawaiian shaved ice but only during the summertime. Guess we can return if we are nearby in a few months. Service was friendly and quick. There were a few seating options indoors and outdoors.

Our experience was very underwhelming. They take mass market sodas and add a bunch of sugar and artificial colors.

This cafe is located in Vienna, and there's plenty of free slanted parking in front as well as parking in the complex next to and across if you're willing to walk. I've been to this location when it first opened years ago and they've really upped their menu and decorations inside since. The ambiance inside is beautiful, ideal for anyone looking for a good Instagram picture. There's so many angles and details so that no matter where you're sitting, there's a good vibe. There's also gorgeous seating outside since it can get crowded. For food, you order from the front and they'll call you when the food is ready. We ordered the dubai gelato and pistachio lokmas. Both were presented tastefully to make sure our eyes and cameras wanted to eat before our stomachs. The dubai gelato was a quality dessert with a good ratio of milk: cream. The pistachio flavor was evident on top, but it was just a kinda tart vanilla ice cream with toppings. I did like it, however, and it paired well with the lokmas. The lokmas were fried to perfection, a nice amount of chewy, and covered with a good ratio of pistachio cream. They were a decent size and conducive to sharing. The prices of everything, overall, was pretty expensive, but the quality definitely made up for it. I'd recommend this cafe to someone looking for a unique sweet treat, catching up with a group of girl friends of 2-4 people, or for a first date!

Loved that combination, and the ube taiyaki was another favorite- im a sucker for ube. It came out fresh and warm, which made it that much better like a warm hug. This was supposed to be a quick stop, but I liked it enough to come back the very next day to try more flavors! On my second visit, I tried the Thai tea filling and another one I believe was Oreo ice cream swirl. The ube is still the one I'd come back for, but it was fun trying something different. Service: The staff was super friendly and helpful. Since it was my first time, I appreciated them helping me figure out what to order. There were several things I wanted to try, so having them tell me their favorite was a no brainer it made the experience even better. Atmosphere: The space was clean and had plenty of seating. I appreciated being able to sit down and enjoy everything while the taiyaki was still warm. A nice spot to take a little dessert break and a nice vibe. This is definitely a place to take a date! Overall: Coming back two days in a row probably says enough about how much I enjoyed Rice Culture! Between the fresh, warm taiyaki, the ube sesame ice cream swirl, and the friendly staff, this was an easy place to love. The stuffed Oreo fish was a little dry and definitely wasn't my favorite, but it's still good for what it is. It's a bit pricey for a dessert, but I think it makes for such a fun outing. There isn't much employee interaction since you order through a kiosk, but honestly, that was totally fine and made the process quick and easy. Definitely worth checking out if you want a cute, unique dessert experience!

Qamaria Yemeni Coffee started as a wholesale coffee supplier before opening its first café in Dearborn, Michigan, in 2021 by Hatem Al-Eidaroos (who serves as CEO) and Munif Mawer. Qamaria is on the back-side of a strip mall, off of perpetually busy Maple Ave (aka, Rt. 123). Do yourself a favor and park in the back lot since there are more available spaces. I met up with some other coffee lovers at their Vienna, VA location and had a lovely afternoon. The interior is tastefully decorated Yemeni artwork through out the space, lots of natural lighting, and comfy benches and more private seating area towards the back. One thing I'm not a fan of is the ordering system. All orders are placed via a SINGLE iPad style tablet. I interact with tablets and self-service kiosks all the time in retail/restaurant settings. My main issue is there is only ONE tablet for ordering which can create long lines since not everyone is as familar with the interface. I waited about 8-10 min to place my order; and after another 10-15 min, my beverage and dessert was ready. I will say, this is some of the better coffee I've tasted in the DMV. My iced latte was yummy with a strong espresso flavor. The house special which is all over Qamaria's social media, is their honeycomb cake; and I can see why. Visually, it is very Instagram friendly with its light and flaky crust stuffed with cream cheese, and then drizzled with honey. The texture was suprisingly light and the cream cheese and honey combo gave it that slightly "sweet and salty" flavor profile. Spending time catching up with old friends over coffee and pastries in the comfortable confines of Qamaria was an excellent way to spend an afteroon. With tax and tip, an iced coffee and slice of honeycomb cake totaled approximtely $18.

We decided to start by sharing the wagyu carpaccio, the fried green tomatoes, and an appetizer portion of the cavatelli- I really like that you can do appetizer portions of both pastas on rotation on the menu here. We were also brought two pieces of focaccia with incredibly flavorful olive oil (yum!). The cavatelli and the fried green tomatoes were standouts for us, the pasta had a great chew and the bolognese was really flavorful. The fried green tomatoes came topped with a pimento cheese that was incredible. For our entrees, we opted for the braised bison shoulder and the scallops. The scallops were perfectly prepared and were a very generous portion. The bison shoulder was so tender and the accompaniments were incredible- this was a perfect fall dish. We also got the charred sweet summer corn, which was delicious and came studded with the lightest goat cheese, and rustic Old Bay potatoes, which were absolutely perfectly fried and came with a side of some honey mustard. We took a good amount of the sides home and they held up for a day or two! I was really impressed with the wine list here- there were a lot of solid options. The champagne in particular was excellent (and I am picky!). Our server, who I believe was Riley, really made it a special night. He was so attentive and had excellent suggestions. One touch that was so thoughtful was that we had declined dessert because we would be having birthday cake later, but mentioned that the banana tres leches sounded so good. He brought over a scoop of the banana ice cream that's typically on top of that dessert with a candle in it! It was so kind of him to listen to us but still recognize that it was a special occasion- and it was some of the best ice cream I've had in a long time (he said it is made in house every day with duck eggs, it was so rich and flavorful). We have already booked our return reservation here! Thanks to Evelyn Rose for a wonderful night with such memorable food.
