we celebrated my daughter in laws babyshower there, it was beautiful, the food was great and the price was very reasonable, the staff is magnifecent, from the party planner there to the ladies serving, they where all very professional and very nice. I truly recommend Coco Palm for your next celebration. read more

food is good, food temperature is well maintained with heated plates, portion is ok, anything that's on the $28-$36 entree, you will be full just right. just a bit salty, but the flavor is great. service is good too, our waitress came over and ask once in a while. AC is not strong enough on a 102°F day, and their restroom has no AC at all, just a dusty fan, very smelly and the floor is nasty. For such a nice restaurant, they have toilets like at a public park. Valet parking only. took $8 for valet when my car is just 10 steps away from the front door...and they ask for tips.. feel like they are trying to be at the high end but didn't get there yet. will come back for their brunch buffet few weeks later see if there's any changes. read more

I held my wedding here and had the absolute best experience! I had the Bolero room and terrace and it was the perfect size for 55 guests. Randi helped with the reservations and coordination and was also very responsive and super helpful. 10/10 recommend for an event. It was an amazing experience for a very reasonable price. We had the buffet and private bartender and they were on time and accommodating. The guests commented on how good the food was and there were so many options to choose from. They let us bring in our own decorations and cake and were very accommodating. Highly recommended to go eat (their Sunday brunch was amazing) and to host an event. The restaurant had a breathtaking view which made for lovely pictures and a great balcony for dancing. The bridal suite was a great place to get ready, plenty of room for all the girls and a private bathroom with a shower. They absolutely helped make our wedding a great day!! read more

Food was buffet I went for a repass chicken and potatoes were cooked good the was rice was moist. string beans not cooked my liking really didn't care for the dessert. cocktails were ok. Food was expected to be ready at 3:30. We waited until 4. Also, the restaurant was very warm. We had to ask to adjust the air to turn on the air. One server, her name was Wendy. She was fine the rest of them. They just stood around and stared at you. Customer Service definitely needs to improve. Over all experience 5-10.. also the furniture is very dated upgrade needed. Our wedding reception at Coco Palm was absolutely unforgettable. From the very beginning of the planning process to the day of our celebration, the entire team made us feel welcomed, supported, and truly cared for. We especially want to recognize Elizabeth, the event sales manager, for being absolutely phenomenal throughout the entire process. She was patient and incredibly helpful with our countless questions, always taking the time to provide guidance, coordinate with other vendors, and make sure we felt confident every step of the way. Elizabeth went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of and that all of our expectations were not only met, but exceeded. The venue itself was beautiful, the atmosphere was perfect, and the attention to detail helped create the wedding reception we had always dreamed of. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how wonderful the space was, how smoothly everything flowed, and how welcoming the staff was throughout the evening. The food was an experience we'll never forget and we truly appreciated having a taste testing appointment, this was such a nice experience for us. Coco Palm provided us with the perfect setting to celebrate our love and begin this new chapter as husband and wife. We are so grateful to everyone who played a role in making our wedding day so special, especially Elizabeth for her kindness, professionalism, and dedication. Thank you, Coco Palm, for helping us create memories that we will cherish forever. read more

This is my second time going to Coco Palm, but only my first review for them. I've come here for a graduation event for myself and for a work outing. Yes, you go past two gates in order to find the parking lot for the restaurant! Ample parking. There is valet parking available on busy days! I was mainly here for their drinks the night I went and don't recall what I've eaten at the graduation party. Their plantain chips were decent along with their dip. Their empanadas were average and I think their calamari was good but not the best. Nick had made our drinks the whole night and he was awesome! He had a good sense of humor and kind service. I had ordered IPAs and tried their guava margarita. The prices are high, but sensical for the view you get peeking out towards the 10 freeway. I noticed an area for photos especially if you're graduating or hosting an event. I'd recommend coming if you've never been before. read more

We came for a work event at 4pm and had the patio to ourselves. That was nice but we didn't have enough tables or chairs so we had more chairs brought out. The patio has a plastic sheeting covering the whole area which made it like a sauna. We couldn't feel any breeze and with about 25 adult bodies, it got hot! Very limited service. We had to go to the bar to get our drinks including our water. When I ordered drinks at the bar, I asked for a Jack and Coke. I got a well whiskey instead of Jack Daniels without even being asked if that would be ok. Which wasn't the greatest. We had shared appetizers which was tasty. But I wasn't much in the mood for eating, since it was too hot. If I were to come back, I definitely wouldn't sit on the patio! And come back at night when you have views of city lights vs the freeway and everyone in traffic trying to get home. read more

Ordered some appetizers and drinks on the patio. Both service and food were excellent!

I wish there was a real Cuban restaurant with authentic food I have tried out this place many times. Sad to report I keep hoping visit will be good First. Food expensive Two. Compliment to person that makes display of food look phenomenal. But food itself can't say authentic or good Still wishing better cooks one day Had the nerve to order take out. Waited 1 hour. No excuse why took so long. Probably they instead of a refund made me garbage I had to toss out Very hard to keep trying. Wonder. Owner aware? read more

Solid 3.5 but good enough to round up to 4. I've been here for both brunch buffet and dinner. Brunch is just ok but $50 per person isn't terrible for what it is. Besides, you can't beat the view. I do prefer dinner here. The plantain chips here are the best around. Ceviche is good, calamari wasn't crunchy, but the green sauce is good. For mains the oxtail (rabo encendido) is good and super tender. Chimichurri steak (churrasco) is good but mine was a little overcooked. Slow roasted pork (lechon asado) was flavorful but a little tough and chewy. Palella was good but nothing wow. For dessert we got the cheesecake and flan both were mid. Service was just ok, didn't come around very often and when we ordered a bottle of wine didn't offer is a tasting pour. The wine was also very hot. "Room temp" in California on a 100° day is too warm. Parking here is valet only and they charge $8. Overall this place has great views, mid to good food, and mid service. read more

Finally revisited Coco Palm after 10 years. In fact, I completely forgot it existed as if I'd never been. Anyway, it was good to be back because my friend and I were in mood for brunch, but didn't want to wait until Sunday to go to our usual spot. Well, I think this is going to be our new usual spot moving forward now. There's a great selection of items to choose from, but my favorite that I kept loading up on every time I got up were the oxtails. I LOVE oxtail and it was so delicious here. Very tender and flavorful. The prime rib here is cooked perfectly to my preference. The outer part of it was packed with flavor and salt which I love. Yes, it's a bit salty but the rest of the meat is pretty neutral in flavor, so it's a nice balance in my opinion. Huge fan of the chicken noodle soup too. It's simple and reminds me of homestyle cooking. Very comforting! I could use a bowl right about now. I especially liked that the crab legs were already cut in half. I hate working for my seafood. The shrimp was also the ez peel type, so you can just peel the shell right off instead of having to dig into each one. Service was great. I forgot bro's name, but he was friendly and pleasant to talk to. The views were amazing (obviously). I enjoyed watching the traffic flow on the 10. Only downside is that it's valet ONLY and at the time of this review, it was $8. Anyway, at $47 per person this was absolutely worth it. Great selection, delicious food, nice views. What's not to like? I will be back in the near future for sure! read more

We celebrated our nieces birthday brunch there. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. They had everything from traditional breakfast foods like eggs, bacon and waffles to all of the good Cuban and Central American foods. Such as Maduro, ropa vieja, etc. read more

The drinks were probably the best thing. But, everything was pretty good. Exploradora - 3.7 The calamari was good, the croquettes were good. The empanadas were good. No complaints the exploradora was a nice way to start the meal. Parrillado de Carne 3.5 This was a platter of meat. It was so many different cuts that it was cooked a little inconsistent. But, it was still nice and we did enjoy it. Paella Valenciana 3.3 Of course, the seafood was nice. They had some big shrimp that was cooked nice in there. I like the crab meat that came with it. It was missing the crunchy texture of the bottom of the rice, but it was still enjoyable. Drinks - 4.5 I thought both drinks were really enjoyable. read more

I wanted to take my daughter to a nice sit down dinner date and wanted a view. You will be better off inside than outside to enjoy this view away from the busy freeway noise and if you're not tall enough, good luck enjoying a view looking above the patio rail. The food was deliciously prepared. Our salmon and steak was juicy and not dry. The yucca fries paired with the garlic dip was soo good. Our service was attentive and food came perfectly timed to satisfy our hunger. I'm looking forward to trying their Paella next time. And Brunch as I was told is great here on saturdays and sundays. Reservations highly recommended for the brunch. Great food and service and would not mind coming back to try more. read more

This was an ok place overall . I wish it was better as it has a lot of potential, but it did not do justice. The food was bland and the service was not good. They did not pay attention at all. We asked for napkins, straws etc twice and never got them. They never checked in to see if we needed anything the entire time. The restaurant overall was outdated . Older everything. The windows were not clean, bathrooms were dirty , and food was nothing to impress. I won't go back here and will not recommend anyone read more

The food here was really good! I really enjoyed the tomahawk steak. It came out a little burnt on the outside when we ask for medium. They were really good about redoing our steak and when they came back out with it, the doneness was perfect. The empanadas were also good and the drinks were yummy! The server kept coming back to check up on us. The restaurant was not as busy when we came in for lunch, it was quiet and it left us a lot of time to have good conversations. read more

We celebrated a birthday on 7/4. Hostess gave us a nice seat to take in the view. Staff was friendly and attentive. Everything was delicious. Appetizers: Chicken/beef empanadas and fried calamari, both great. Salad was a generous size, fresh, cold and crisp served with both ranch and blue cheese dressing Tasty. The perfectly cooked filet Mignon was excellent too. We received a complimentary dessert Flan that ended the meal sweetly. We are Looking forward to another visit. read more

Date/Time of visit: April 7, 2026 (7:30 PM) My family and I went here for my dad's birthday, it was all our first time trying this place out. They got curious and got a reservation when they saw it as they were passing by on the freeway and thought it looked nice. Ambiance: 3/5 - Place looked nice outside with a koi pond by a nice entryway but looked underwhelming on the inside with a large empty hallway right next to a small host area, and basic waiting chairs. Dining tables were tightly packed as well. Food: 3/5 - Food looked good but tasted bland and underseasoned, might just be the lechon asado I ordered or could've just been my palatte but that's my take on it. Service: 4/5 - Service was okay, wasn't the worst but also wasn't the best. Although there were barely any customers in the restaurant at that time, we had to wait around 5 minutes after seating before we were given water on the table and asked for anything to drink. Throughout the service, waters were refilled without us having to ask but we did have to call and ask for soda refills. Overall, the place and the food was okay, and it was a good place to try. read more

The first 2 times I came here I was absolutely thrilled with my experience with the food, drinks, service and overall ambiance of the restaurant. Sadly i celebrated my daughters 21st Birthday dinner and the service was not as I previously had. The potato ball appetizers were hot outside and frozen in the middle, we sent it back and didn't even get an apology or ask if we wanted another order. The birthday girl wanted to substitute rice for beans instead and when we received the bill they charged us $8 for added beans. We asked if they could remove but we were told they could not. Unfortunately we will not be returning due to my daughters 21st birthday experience. The food was delicious other than the frozen center appetizer. Hopefully this doesn't happen to future customers. read more

Unfortunately, our birthday celebration did not end the way we had hoped. We were enjoying our drinks and having a nice time with friends when the situation suddenly became uncomfortable and, honestly, very humiliating. We have been to this restaurant many times to celebrate birthdays and other special occasions, which makes this experience even more disappointing. We were treated in a way that made us feel uncomfortable and disrespected, and unfortunately, the way the situation was handled by Albert Rodriguez left a very negative impression on us. We tried to follow up with management afterward and were told that Felipe was not able to answer the call. We are sharing this feedback respectfully because we hope the restaurant takes it into consideration. After having celebrated so many special moments here, it is very unfortunate to say that we do not plan to return. read more

Disappointing Experience We had a very upsetting experience with Alfred Rodriguez, assistant manager. His behavior toward our group was disrespectful, and we felt harassed and humiliated in front of other restaurant patrons. The way we were treated made us feel targeted and discriminated against, particularly because we were a group of women. Several members of our group also made multiple attempts to contact Manager Felipe Castro to discuss what happened, but we never received a response. We expected to be treated with basic respect and professionalism. Instead, our experience left us feeling embarrassed, disrespected, and unwelcome. We hope management takes this matter seriously and addresses the way customers are treated. After being long time patrons and celebrating many special occasions at Coco Palm, we will no longer be returning after this experience. read more

I went to Coco palms on May 3rd 2026, with our family. So the restaurant moved to a Cash less system and the payments are made thru a QR Code. I made a payment of 4 people(we were a group of 10) and some of the bill from the table next to us came on our table bill. I paid thru the QR code and the waiter said that he would void the payment so he can fix the bill. I paid 1 more time without the QR system and I was charged twice. It has been over 2 weeks and I still have not gotten my refund from the first payment over $250.00 !!! I physically went back to the restaurant, I call every week and as of today still no refund! They promise I would get my money back but NOTHING! How hard is it to refund a client that paid twice! Be careful going, very unethical and unprofessional! read more

My 75th birthday celebration last Aug 1st must have been the 8th time our family celebrated events (Christening, 2- graduation, 60th, 65th , 70th, and 2- 75th birthday celebrations ) here at Coco Palm Restaurant. Miss Rhonda, the Marketing Director was very hospitable and welcome the ideas I want for my reception. She is also flexible to the changes that occurred along the way. She took care right away an overlooked number sitting for the guests without chaos at all. The food was great and the servers were kind and polite specially Francisco, the chef. Customer service is top notch!! Just an fyi- You do need to dress appropriately at this restaurant. The food & drinks were good, but not great, with the exception of the clams! My 1st complaint I have is: the clams made me sick, I bit into one & it tasted awful, on the way home my mouth was hurting on the side I bit into the clam, I went to sleep when I got home but the next day my whole cheek was swollen & throbbing. I researched about these symptoms & found out some clams & shellfish can make you sick with numbness & pain. It's called Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning, not sure if this happens often but def won't ever order clams again! My 2nd issue or complaint was, we were seated on the patio & there was a wedding happening at the same time we were seated & the wedding party was going up & down the side stairs & some of the wedding party almost fell down the stairs at some point & the mic announcements were so loud we couldn't hear much of our own convos. We did have a party of 11, which is why we needed a bigger table. You will need reservations for this restaurant as well. We did have a good time & service was great! Prob won't be back but was a nice evening. read more
