This place has gotten better! I hadn't visited this nail salon in approximately 2 years because I'm no longer in the area. I have a trip coming up in a few days and I wanted to do my nails before leaving so I decided to make the drive from West LA to South Pasadena and I'm more than happy that I did. They have a ton of colors to choose from which only made things more difficult for me because I'm so indecisive, but I appreciate that they have a wide variety. It's clean inside and the service is spectacular, they even bring you water without having asking for it. And they actually listen to what you want which soooo important to me. I would highly recommend this nail salon and specifically Minh. She is kind and makes conversation if you are wanting to have one. She is a perfectionist and she takes her time. I can't speak much for acrylic nails but I do love getting manis and pedis here. Especially the pedis ;) read more

I swear my toe did not look like this when i walked in to this place for the first time yesterday. I had high hopes since it was highly recommended. My toe is infected on the left side and to make matters worst they had snipped off a piece of my skin on the right side too. I've never seen so much blood come out of a toe before. Ugh! read more

The service was amazing, they treat you so well and so much attention to detail. I had the best pedicure EVER. Min was amazing! My manicure also turned out so well. I went in today to check the place out and I saw the photos and reviews of the place and it all looked great. So I took a chance and I regret it! I when in with my mom who got a pedicure and it was fine. The place was slow at first and the lady that was doing my nails was taking her time which is good. However when it started to pick up she just rushed the last of the nails. She then got up and started on another client. So I believe maybe the owner can and started to paint my nails. I noticed after when they were drying that my nails were Not Straight! They are pointing sideways!!! Who's does that?!! Also the nail in the middle was so wide it's crazy, not even my thumb looked like that. I asked for oval. Ugh, maybe I got someone new or something but this does not look what they have on their yelp picture. I should have said something but my little one was just over and ready to go. I go to this salon about 1-2 times a month for mani-pedi's (I can't speak to anything but the nail services). I first went because it was very close to where I live, but I keep going back because I think it is a great value. The interior is always nice and clean (especially compared to 2 other salons nearby) and I always have a relaxing experience. They have a good selection of polishes. And sometimes, when they aren't busy, they let me stay and sit in the massage chair and wait for my polish to dry. I have never experienced any issues with quality of work, like other Yelpers. This place is the same price, sometimes cheaper, than some of the other nail salons in S. Pas., but time and time again I think it is a much more comfortable environment than many others. My toe-nail polish was applied so thickly, it really looks bad (blotchy and bubbly). The man who was doing it, Harry, is not skilled in the art of painting nails. I was watching him glop on paint in the middle of the nail and spread it around. My big toe was so bad I asked him to re-do it, stating that I would prefer only two coats, not 4! My mani was fine, the massages could have been longer and better. Also, they were trying to up-sell me with extra procedures and they gave me a little bit of attitude when I politely declined. Nice ambience, it's not any regular nail salon. You can treat it as nail spa. Very clean and lil like Greece decor. Service is 2 thumbs up but you will need to pay more than other nail salons! But the nail lacquers they use are really better and last longer than those used by other salons. FYI, I just found out they even have threading! This is my go to nail place as they are never really busy and i don't have to wait half an hour to get my nails done. I would caution you to go with the ladies and not with the man that works there as he is not great in what he does. I had the gel nails done and they started coming off really quickly (and were suppose to last two weeks). When the lady that works there did it, they lasted the full two weeks. He also did my pedicure once and it was blotchy and didnt last. So I suggested going but sticking with the ladies. read more

I come here on a regular to get my perfectly almond shaped nails done by Nick and my pedicure by Michelle whom are both my favorite however any of the other ladies are just as amazing if Michelle is busy. I did not have the bad experiences that everyone else seem to have... I think the prices are great and the service pretty good. I got the Spa Pedicure, which costs $20. I was a walk-in and after picking out my nail polish (they offer OPI and ORLY polishes), relaxed in the chair and foot bath until someone was free to start my pedi. My pedi was fine, a couple of "ouch" moments, but all and all my feet look and feel great. I may try getting a parraffin treatment next time and maybe eyebrow threading (about $15). read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I am such a picky person when it comes to my nails. In my other review you can see that I cross freeways to find and follow amazing technicians. I stumbled across this place when I was in need of a fill & pedicure. Thank goodness I did! The places that I have been in the area always fall short or start off great and get lazy but not here! They are amazing, keep in mind they are a small shop and really good at what they do, so best is to make an appointment. Came here because 1. I'm new to Pasadena and 2. My coworker recommended I try SNS nails- hers looked fab. I yelped "SNS nails" and only a few places popped up- this being one. Place was empty on a Friday afternoon..which is nice cuz I didn't want to wait ect although I knew it probably meant wasn't going to be the best experience. My pedicure water was borderline cold and so was the lotion she used for massage. Other than that- ok job - I'm not picky. I would have rather paid a little less than $19 tho. The SNS came out pretty.. My coworker says her place didn't use any drilling whatsoever but Tracy did drill mine :(. I was hoping for a healthy alternative to gel and acrylic. It's nice that SNS is natural but I would like to avoid drilling also.. The girls weren't super friendly but I didn't mind I like quiet. I may give it another try... read more

I never leave bad reviews but I feel very frustrated with my experience here. My nails look just ok. Not the best in my opinion especially considering the price. When I walked in I told the woman up front I was wanting a French gel manicure with a regular pedicure. I was told the price for both would be $68. During the mani pedi the girl doing my nails seemed to be in a bad mood. Not a huge deal but kind of frustrating when I'm paying a large amount of money and was only there in the first place to relax. After dealing with that and not being all that thrilled with my results, the guy checking me out tells me the total is $70. I was confused and asked why the price was different than what I had been told initially. He said it was because of the French manicure. I told him I had originally said I wanted a French gel manicure and that is the price I was given for that. He repeated that the price for it is not $68 and it's $70 and apparently didn't believe what I was saying. It's only $2 difference but still you're supposed to honor the prices you give your customers. It's very irritating since I was already reluctant to keep my appointment since $68 is very expensive as it is. I definitely am not coming back to this location. Sucks because it's in a convenient area for me but this is not how you treat customers. Would recommend Signature Nails instead if you're in the area I've never had issues like this with them. Only chose this spot because I thought I'd give them a chance since I had never visited this location and they are also nearby my house. read more

I have visited this place for several months, and I keep going back because of their great customer service. Michele the owner is a perfectionist. She takes her time and make sure the job is done the right way. Sometimes I admit she takes a bit long. But its like going to the doctors office and having your doctor take the time needed for your appointment. You can't really be mad at that. I came in, waited for 25 minutes my service begun and they then had six walk ins. My technician forgot about my 45.00 service and took another customer. The towels that were wrapped around my calves became cold from the long wait. The technician completed another pedicure, comes back to, rushes to finish me up and then tells me (after I have been here for almost two and a half hours they cannot provide me with a gel manicure.
