I am so glad to see this new cafe in our neighborhood. I have enjoyed trying the sweet and savory crepes, and the delicious beautifully decorated desserts. The staff is very welcoming, and the decor and feel of the cafe is clean and modern. Hoping that Coco Leaf stays as a neighbor for many years to come! Wonderful, energy for our neighborhood celebrating delicious Vietnamese food and culture! You certainly should visit soon! read more

I first stumbled upon this cafe when I thought they were open for business (January 2017) but instead of turning us away, the owners invited us in and allowed us to taste some of their desserts they were thinking of adding to the menu (fruit tarts, cream puffs, cookie). Peter and Eric really took our feedback about each item seriously and they were so accommodating to my group when they didn't have to be. I went to the grand opening after work on 2/2 around 6pm and by that time, the lines had died down and service was really fast. I know (from attending other grand openings around Boston) that the first day can be tough because the masses aren't what you are prepared for but I had an overall great experience and could tell both owners were working hard to make everyone enjoy the place. I ordered: -4 macha green tea cream puffs (so much better than beard papa!) -Che Saigon -Che Ba Mau -Che Okinawa I'm glad this is a unique cafe and not a chain - I love supporting local places and will definitely be back. read more

My husband and I have been frequenting this delicious establishment for a while now. Although my husband is not huge as big on the che as me, we both have found items on the menu we thoroughly enjoy. My go-to is the Che Cocoleaf, as it pretty much has everything you might want in a che. It's literally a meal in a cup with the amount of toppings in there. My husband is a fan of their viet iced coffee, and also their summer special winter melon drink. We are completely addicted to their creme puffs as well...the best we've ever had, especially the vietnamese coffee flavor! The space is beautifully decorated and the staff is incredibly warm and friendly. You can just tell that they love what they do and care about their customers. Delighted to support this local establishment. We for sure make it a point to bring any visitors we might have to experience this place. Keep up the good work! read more

My second and third visits were disappointing. I got the smashed avocado again on the second visit and it wasn't as creamy as the first time I got it but worse, the shaved ice on top was less like snow and more like frozen slush, too hard to mix in. I decided to give it another try and got the Coco Leaf which had jelly and beans and chia and coconut but it wasn't my thing, and the shaved ice was once again a solid block. Not sure if I'll give it another chance. read more

Five-dollar drinks? Check. High (matcha cream puffs) meets low (popcorn chicken) menu? Check. Reclaimed wood benches with decorator pillows? Check. Succulents in concrete pots? Check. Mason-jar filament-LED light fixtures? Check. Nineties hip-hop in the background? Check. This chill hipster-heaven coffee shop was the perfect place to do our crossword puzzle on Saturday afternoon while drinking absurdly sugary bubble tea and Vietnamese coffee and eating junk food snacks. Highly recommended. read more

So so good, staff was friendly. Ordered the mango passions fruit smoothie with mixed fruit jelly's Definitely returning many times !

On a hot summer day or any day actually, one tends to crave ice cream but how about trying the next best summer dessert. Ché. Yes, Co co Leaf does it right. Home made jellies. We got the Saigon Ché and it was so good. Better than Bambu, the chain. read more

Very disappointed. Second day of business opening they closed half an hour early. After hearing such great reviews from friends and family, my friend and I went to check it out and it was closed. This is a sign of not great service and business according to me. Hopefully this will change in the future and we might give it a chance. read more

I visited this place during Grand Opening. Nice place and friendly staffs. 30% off was offered. A must try

Just stopped by this place for the 1st time today and I was not disappointed. The drink options available is larger than what other shops around the area offer. I ordered the matcha green tea and I thought it was better than any competitor around the area - I used to work at a boba tea shop in Boston so I know how drinks are properly prepared. The prices for the drinks are fair as well - you could get unlimited toppings for an additional $0.50. The best part is that the cups aren't filled to the brim with ice. A+ read more

i love their chè khúc bch and su riêng smoothies it's not easy to find a decent chè place to live up to my expectations as a vietnamese but coco leaf made the cut read more

You know che is great when the red beans are cooked to perfection. I ordered the Che Coco Leaf which had layers of red beans, white beans, jelly, chia seeds and coconut milk with just the right amount of sweetness. Love the texture of the pink seeds, forgot what they are called. Got my parents rau ma day xanh drinks which were tasty too. Will come back next time to try their crepes. read more

We stopped in for dessert and coffee after dinner as we have just moved to the area. The staff create a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The creme brûlée and macaroons could rival some of the top bakeries and restaurants and the espressos were well made. Apparently they also serve breakfast. We will be back to try more of their bubble teas and food. read more

Everything is amazing!!! Love the food. The tables, the atmosphere. The owner is wicked friendly and makes an effort to remember your name! Great place read more

I tried their cream puffs for the first time and let me tell you it's good! I couldn't find the price online for the cream puffs so I was expecting it to be expensive maybe around $5-6 for one, but surprisedly it was $3 for one cream puff. The price sold it for me and soon I went home with three more cream puffs (two matcha and one white chocolate). People would expect the white chocolate to be overly sweet, but surprisedly it wasn't and it was the right amount of sweetness. Besides the cream puffs, the staff there are really nice. Every time I stood up from my chair to order more they still had a smile on their face and didn't mind me ordering for the third time! I'll be back for more!! read more

Puff pastry and the owners are the best feature of the coffee shop. They try to know their customers and anticipate your need. Wish there was something like this place during my college days so i can find excuses to study and eat dessert all day :) nice place to enjoy dessert and hang out with friends. Exceptional services. read more

I tried Coco Leaf for the first time today after just recently moving back to Boston. The decor made me feel so at home. The mason jar lights especially, it took me right back to Georgia. The Che Thai is amazing and they have good curry fishballs too. The employees are so friendly each time I've come. Cute interior to hang out in. I want to try their other desserts (like Che Halo Hal, but I'm allergic to dairy. The Matcha Milk Tea is amazing; I'm usually disappointed with bubble tea shop/ coffeeshop's matcha, but this was really good. Nice balance of sweetness and matcha flavor. They also have milk alternatives to dairy. read more

By far the best boba tea I've ever had. My friend and I ordered this guava blossom drink and omg it was one of the most refreshing drinks I've ever had in my life! The che are also very tasty as well. My favorite by far is the che thai with durian. Not many people like durian so the cashier will always ask if you would like durian or not. The love the ambiance of the cafe as well. Excellent customer service!!The neighborhood isn't really ideal but I will definitely be coming back to coco leaf! read more

I can't think of a better business to support. The food here is delicious and the owners here are wonderful people. My mom ordered from here today and they helped hand deliver the food to her car because she is an elderly woman. Any business that treats people with kindness deserves a 5 stars to me! read more

Amazing! This place felt like being back in Southeast Asia in the hip new coffee shops popping up around the university I lived near. The chef makes EVERYTHING in house and is an amazingly nice guy. Everything to the curry fish balls to the fun dessert drinks to the cakes was all great. A wonderful space to chill and read, chat with friends, do some work, play a game, and anything in between. This is a must try place in Dorchester. read more

The cream puff and fruit tart is really good!!!!the cream on the tart is so buttery and rich. The mochi donuts are okay. It gets dry and hard really quick. Though, I'm not a fan of their foods. The popcorn chicken is dry and too salty. I think I had the spicy garlic one. read more

As I'm writing this, I'm eating one of their crepes. Their food tastes so much better and fresher than most places in Boston. Like Sakura Sunakku, their crepes resemble Japanese crepes, which look like cones instead of like the French crepes. Unlike Sakura Sunakku, they don't burn the crepes to a crisp. The inside of the shop is cozy yet refreshing, nice for studying or meeting up with friends. The staff are super friendly so that's a big plus. All in all, I definitely recommend it. read more

We just bought 4 che, and honestly they dont taste like we expected. First of all, we have eaten a lot of che, so we know how che should taste. We bought a Che Saigon, Che cocoleaf and okinawa, all of them are very bland and the coconut milk is very tasteless and watery. The most important part of che is the coconut milk. Here is just some feedbacks for you guys to improve. read more

God. I love the atmosphere here and my favourite dessert is che thai. Definately recommend this place
