Good service and food overall although my smoked sirloin was not what I was hoping it to be, was drowned in sauce and medium well vs medium rare I asked, so a bit chewy. I guess you should stick to fish in here, but was worth trying. To the owner's reply point of view, yes it would have been an easy fix but by the time you fix it my partner is done eating so the fun of dining together is gone. read more

We brought a group of 24 players and parents to Lahaina for a state tennis tournament, and the staff here went above and beyond to accommodate us. Rob, the owner/manager, was incredibly patient and flexible as our headcount kept changing until the day before. We pre-ordered our meals to save time, and everything went smoothly--everyone got exactly what they wanted. The food was excellent, featuring generous portions, and the service was exceptional from beginning to end. The high schoolers especially enjoyed the Keiki area, where they could shoot hoops and relax on the couch after dinner. The location was perfect--right across the street from the waterfront--so we even got a fantastic team photo at sunset. Highly recommend this spot for large groups. We'll definitely be back! read more

Coco Deck - View across the street at sunset. - Mexican Near Me - Lahaina, Hawaii

My wife and I went to Coco Deck for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The manager, Rob, sat us at a prime location on the patio where we could enjoy the sunset. He, along with our most excellent server, Nico, provided us with complementary chips and dip along with a Risata Prosecco drink for toasting, both delicious. For dinner, we ordered, and very much enjoyed both the fish and sweet potato tacos with added pork. For dessert, they again gave us a complementary dish of their very delicious Coco Toast. With dessert I like to drink Decaf but this restaurant does not serve decaf. But unbelievably the manager, Rob, walked across front street to the restaurant there, where he ordered me a decaf, then walked it back across the street and hand-delivered it right to our table. I have never seen service like this. The service from both the manager and our server Nico was way over and above. They made my wife and my anniversary dinner very special and memorable. Much thanks!!! read more

stunning views (make a reservation to get a patio seat for beautiful water views; we even got our reservation same day friday evening) and SUCH friendly service (specific shout out to Alex who was so warm, sweet, & helpful for us first timers) - highly recommend stoping at Coco Deck for dinner if you're staying at any neighboring area (we were in Kapalua) or honestly anywhere on the island in general. if you're an espresso martini girlie like me (or honestly just a cocktail girlie), COME HERE!! The espresso martini was such a unique & delicious spin on an espresso martini with the frothiness + the coffee flavor + a unique horchata/cinnamon twist that wasn't too overwhelming. I'll be chasing this espresso martini forever (AKA until we come back!) read more

Amazing food and great prices. Will return. Mothers day special lobster risotto was the bomb.

Food was ok, most people did not like there food. service was beliw average. And 4% fee plus 20% tip on top. Salad came out with food.

Food was superb. We went for lunch and it was so good we went back for dinner. Fernanda was our server and she was delightful . Highly recommended . read more

Wait staff was excellent and everything we ate was delicious. Team was extremely kid friendly.

This was a new find for us, and although it was difficult to come back to Front Street, this restaurant made it a little easier. Great food, cocktails and service. The Horchata Colada is a must try! I love the fusion they've created here; very creative and tasty! Special Note; their picture 'memorial' of old town Lahaina brought a smile and a few tears. It was touching to see the old storefronts of old town and gave me hope for this beautiful town. read more

Great staff, one of the few remaining restaurants in Lahaina. The food was good, but if you are claiming to be a smash burger spot then let's talk smash burgers . You are over-serving! One of those patties could be smashed, properly smashed, into 2 patties! Smash burger patties are THIN, which is how you can order a triple: Food was good, just too much of it. read more

Nice location. Good food. And our server Zig was excellent. Very attentive and helpful with the menu. I will come bqck next time we are here. Had the steak and birria tacos. Both were very good! read more

Sports bar/Restaurant in the fire ravaged area of Maui. The Good: large facility, especially for our large group of 11; food overall was good; Burgers, Hot Nashville chicken; Watermelon salad; Fish & Chips. No complaints here. Th Bad: although it wasn't crowded for a Friday night; service was a bit slow; Prices and extra 4% added for kitchen automatically. Most dishes were $20 and higher. Example: Fish & Chips had one medium size piece of fish (size of chicken thigh), on top a small bed of mixed fries for $28! So price for Fish & chips, side salad, one alcoholic drink, and one soft drink ( refillable for fee) was $75 including tax and top! Although it was good, probably worth $15. All alcohol $10 to $25! But if you want a sports bar atmosphere and not too crowded (probably too pricey), and don't care about cost to support area, then it was ok. read more

We ended up having an issue with my reservation that I made online, but the wonderful hosts figured out an option for us during their busy time! The food was delicious and their happy hour specials were a great deal! Even with rainy weather, the patio was well covered and we enjoyed ourselves. Overall, worth the visit! read more

The food is delicious!! The chef knows what he is doing! The staff are so very happy and kind. Everyone seems so happy. The service is top notch. There is a place for kids to play. There are several TVs. They have different events throughout the week too. Great food and great people. read more

This spot offers a unique dining experience that encouraged us to step outside our usual food comfort zone. While we appreciated the twist, the portion sizes felt a bit smaller than expected, and we found ourselves wishing for a bit more flavor, especially given the price point for two. The service, however, was excellent--warm, attentive, and impressively quick, Claudia was excellent! If you're in the mood to try something a little different, it's worth a visit. read more

What fun we had here! And we'll be headed back before departing Maui. First - both Brian and Zig made the evening fun for us. Great service, talented mixologists but also very friendly and both with great senses of humor. I think that's what will draw us back . We were seated at the bar so had fun interaction. The cocktails were really good and creative. We had the "Chips and Dip" which is guacamole, pico de gallo, salsa and we added the white queso. Delicious with freshly made chips. We had the happy hour (oh yes, happy hour is great!) Burria Queso taco which we really liked. But the Poke Donut was the star of the show. Unique dish that is absolutely delicious. The Lahaina Boy hot sauces also very good! No photos of our food because we apparently scarfed it down too quickly! Great spot, actually quite affordable, and fun to see a new place (to us - it's a year old having replaced the Duckine) pop up and be successful after the devastating fires of 2023. Highly recommend! read more

Just left :30 ago. Local waitress needs to seek counseling for her PTSD of the Lahaina fire. She was rude from the start belittled my wife and myself and made us feel stupid for asking questions about menu toppings spoke with the manager who was a nice guy explained to him that we were familiar with catastrophic fires, were from California He was very talkative. This lady needs to find a new career if she's going to work public service! as for the food..... it was a five on scale of 1 to 10 kind of overpriced and the menu was kind of limited. We would love to see Lahaina flourish and thrive again that's why we were asking questions and trying to support the local businesses, but this will probably be the last stop other than that for a cocktail out of a can. read more

I don't usually like to leave negative reviews but this was the worst meal we had out of 9 days while visiting the island. The ceviche was so fishy that we couldn't even eat it. The fish tacos were very bland. Very disappointing for sure! read more

Good food, friendly service and they had a game area for kids - that's a huge bonus when traveling with young children.

I ordered a turkey dinner on Thanksgiving evening. The first time the dinner arrived cold, sent it back and the second time it arrived without the stuffing. The turkey was not fresh, you could tell it was processed from a package and had no flavor whatsoever. it took five requests, but my wife finally got her MaiTai drink at the end of her dinner. The manager did comp her drink. Employees were friendly, just inefficient read more

We had the absolute best time at Coco Deck! Zig & Trinity were behind the bar and they made our evening. Great cocktails, amazing conversation, fun vibes all around. The restaurant was exactly what we wanted! We each had a couple cocktails and the recommendations by Zig were top notch! read more

The place was nice, got seated right away, menu looked great. Ended up with tacos, smash burger, and southwest chicken salad with the chorizo vinaigrette dressing. Tacos were definitely mids, nothing special to comment more on remembering that they were just tacos, the smash burger wasn't very smashed and literally just a normal burger and the southwest salad was standard plus the fried chicken felt like it was thrown into oil that wasn't hot enough and had a lot of chewy fatty pieces on it. Skipped desert because 3/3 menu items were pretty sad. Service was what to be expected when you walk in as the last customers after a long day. Forgettable. Will return for a second chance as we always do, but nothing stood out. read more

came here on a friday evening & waited about 15 minutes for a table. we were seated outside & it was really pretty since you could see the streets & the ocean. our server was so friendly! i got the fish tacos and they were delicious. they have clean bathrooms and they have a small side parking lot or you could do street parking. read more

This is a newer start up in Lahaina. The food was great, the service was excellent and the vibe was so refreshing. Very much the Maui feel. Laid back, no stress and direct view of the ocean. Try it out. You won't be disappointed. read more

Service awesome! One thing absolutely do not get the Poke Donut. It's pretty awful. The poke itself was questionable and the donut was just a lump of tasteless dough. The only miss we had in an otherwise great meal! read more

We came for happy hour with two kiddos. We were glad to see the kids menu had more than Mac and cheese and a burger one little ordered the cheese tacos and scarfed them down. The other had fish tacos that also disappeared. Adults shared several things off the happy hour menu and the secret menu-fish taco, sweet potato taco and cheese taco, Mc Fish sandwich, funky fries and Brussels sprout salad. Fish could have been cooked a bit less and there could have been more Brussels in the salad- it was mostly romaine. Overall a good experience. We will be back next time we are on island. read more

We stopped by Coco Deck for dinner and had a great experience! The vibe here is definitely more laid-back and casual -- the kind of spot where you can relax, enjoy the ocean breeze, and just soak in the island atmosphere. Our server, Izzy, was awesome! Super friendly, easygoing, and she gave us some great recommendations. The food was fresh, tasty, and came out quickly. You can tell everyone working here genuinely cares about making sure guests have a great time. It's also a great small business to support in Lahaina, especially after everything this community went through with the wildfires just two years ago. The fact that they've rebuilt and are still delivering such a great experience says a lot! If you're looking for a chill spot with good food, friendly service, and that true island vibe, Coco Deck is definitely worth checking out -- and ask for Izzy if you can, she's fantastic! read more

Coco Deck on Front Street was a nice surprise. The service was great, the food was solid, and everything was reasonably priced. We'd love to see a few more fresh options like salads on the menu, but overall, it's a great casual spot in a prime location--we'd definitely go back. read more

We came for Sunday lunch but they were only serving their brunch menu. We ordered the Smash Burger, Birria quesatacos with a side of fries, kids chicken tenders, chips and salsa plus queso, and a watermelon agua fresca. They brought out the side of fries first, which was weird already, since I ordered it as a side with my meal, but to make things worse, they were completely hard and way overcooked and dry. Then the chips and salsa came out with queso. They were just okay - the chips were kind of stale and the salsa was a tiny portion. Not worth the $12 + $5.5 for the queso. The birria tacos came out completely blackened and charred at first and we had to send them back. When they came back out, they were now soggy and greasy. They were incredibly bland and the texture was just awful. The burger was fine - the fries that came with the burger were also much better than the burnt to a crisp ones that came out 15 minutes before my entree. The tenders were good and flavorful and the fries that came with them were also well-prepared. The view is great and the casual dining room is nice for a family. Lots of room for improvement on food and service but otherwise, it was an okay lunch. read more

I don't post many reviews, but had to take the time to post about coco deck!! My husband , 3 year old son, and I have been there 3 times already on our trip here on Maui. The service is always top notch. I have celiac, and they are extremely knowledgeable, and even cook my tacos in a separate area. We cannot praise highly enough about the birria tacos. They are incredible! My husband also really loves the fish tacos. They have a huge area for little ones to play with a bunch of toys and games. We plan to make it back one more time before we leave. Amazing happy hour and margaritas are delicious. Mahalo for a great experience Coco Deck!! read more

Excellent food, service, and ambiance in our own backyard. Great to see businesses returning to Lahaina.

We had a lovely adult night out here after eating at Honu as they are just across the street from one another. The place was empty on a Friday night before Thanksgiving but oddly enough we were charged a $15 cover to get in! Goodness that made me feel young! I was surprised by the cost but not upset; since the Lahaina fire in August 2023 there are not many places to go out at night on the west side of Maui and as a visitor there enjoying Maui it's fair to have folks pay a little extra to support local growth & night life. The bar was pretty savvy on offerings and service; dancing to a live band was great; and we even heard Valerie sung by a local social media influencer and minor celebrity! I think we might have stayed til close but I don't recall...! read more
