I almost didn't book because of some negative reviews but after reading through them they seemed not very credible, I decided to give Tim a shot. I'm glad I did. He helped me choose a style from a few photos online, explained what would work best for my hair, and absolutely nailed it. He offered me coffee, never tried to sell me any products, and gave me honest advice on maintaining my hair. Tim is a genuinely down-to-earth guy who's passionate about what he does. The shop has a great atmosphere, the prices are fair, and I couldn't be happier with my haircut. My wife loved it too. I'll definitely be back.

If you're anything like me, getting a new 'do is terrifying. After many years of disappointing haircuts and dyes, I couldn't find my stylist. Until, a friend convinced me to try CoCo Creative Wellness. That's when I finally met my stylist, Cassie. When I first met her, she made me feel incredibly comfortable. We were able to talk about everything under the sun and if she didn't understand she would patiently listen. Same with my hesitance of getting my hair done. She patiently listened to my fears and knew she needed to take baby steps with me. After giving me a simple fresh look at the first visit- I had all the confidence in the world to allow her to go bold! Well, bold for me. At my second visit I went from medium blonde to platinum blonde/silver with a strip of purple. Of course, she used temporary color for this strip, but I never thought I would like it and now I'm obsessed with it. Did not get my hair done for another 2 years. I even refused to get my hair cut for my wedding and highly regretted it because I do not like my hair in the photos but I was so scared to go. So after that I researched and asked around to where my friends recommended I should go. I was between 2 places and it must have been fate that the other salon had no openings because Tara did! I've been going here for about 4 years now- and probably the best review I can give to demonstrate how much I love the salon and stylists is that I'm moving to Columbus but STILL plan on driving 2 hours to get my hair cut and colored here. They are that good, and in my mind, irreplaceable! The staff at CoCo also did all of the hair and makeup for my bridal party at my recent wedding, and everyone looked fabulous! They were so easy to work with and flexible, and provided such a fun, stress-free environment for us to get ready before the wedding. As the bride, I felt so pampered. I absolutely LOVE this place. Not only is the space warm and inviting with beautiful artwork and exposed brick walls, it is the amazing staff that contributes to the warm and friendly atmosphere of the salon, making one feel truly welcome and at home. I went in to get my hair done by Brandy and it was not only affordable, but it was EXACTLY what I wanted - she did an amazing job on the color and haircut, fixed it all pretty, and left me feeling like a million bucks afterwards...I will definitely be coming back! Also, they are so much more than just a hair salon and offer so many cool services I don't normally see offered in other places. My husband is in a business group with Colleen, the owner, for my birthday he purchased a gift certificate for a manicure, pedicure,massage and a blowout. I have still yet to use my massage and blowout but have used my pedicure and manicure. I had Jordan and she was perfect. Actually I have had a manicure twice and just made another appointment for my third. I truly enjoy coming into this Wellness salon. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff wonderful. I love my experience at CoCo's every time I come to the salon. Everyone is warm and friendly and they truly make you feel welcome. I love Cassie at CoCo. I have followed her from another salon and have been a loyal customer for years! Having very thick hair that is difficul to manage, I have had many bad haircuts over the years. Colleen is the best in the city for a cut and color! She is a color genius and highly recommend her. I'm a salon snob and have been to many colorists in the city and no one is better than Colleen. Entering the salon leads to an immediate lounge area with refreshments currently holding water, coffee, and sodas. I think there used to be beer? The seats are very comfortable and a TV to provide entertainment. The atmosphere is relatively open save for the individual stylists' areas which house privacy. A number of haircut options allows for a customizable experience. One can add on additional services like facial, massage, or nail care for example. I have tried the platinum cut a couple of times and have turned into a believer. A time intensive experience that makes one feel well taken care of by the end. For stylists, I have primarily worked with Jamie but also Elena and Danielle. Every single one of them have understood my hair. It is cut masterfully and grows in well. This last point is one I'd emphasize as really the majority of people who have cut my hair in the past fail to maintain any attention to detail. The only drawback that I have noticed here is that the online system is confusing. Additionally I have struggled with working with some people over the phone to get a reservation. That being said, the people who were disrespectful over the phone have been phased out out appropriately replaced. Great place, worth the extra drive and money!
