I almost didn't book because of some negative reviews but after reading through them they seemed not very credible, I decided to give Tim a shot. I'm glad I did. He helped me choose a style from a few photos online, explained what would work best for my hair, and absolutely nailed it. He offered me coffee, never tried to sell me any products, and gave me honest advice on maintaining my hair. Tim is a genuinely down-to-earth guy who's passionate about what he does. The shop has a great atmosphere, the prices are fair, and I couldn't be happier with my haircut. My wife loved it too. I'll definitely be back.

I am 66 and have had my hair cut and colored all over the world, and I have to say Caitlin is one of the best. Wish I lived in Cincinnati, I'd be a regular! The salon is peaceful and trendy, without being intimidating. The salon manager, Jack communicated clearly with me by email, and was so helpful when I was making my appointment. They were also prompt in responding to my questions, which can be a rarity these days. The front desk staff was so welcoming and made me feel like a long time cherished customer. They gave me recommendations on restaurants and places to visit in the area (shout out Victoria!), as it was my first time to Cincinnati. Aniya has a quaint little suite in the Nobel building just across from Mcklenburg Gardens, which is close to UC's central campus. Truth be told, I'd tried another stylist in the same building and was less than impressed for the same reasons I've never been able to find a stylist in the past: I was on time but she had another person in the chair and had to start 30 minutes late; I had to have my hair already washed and blow dried, all she did was corn-row me, and she charged me $100! She was nice enough, but nobody is going to consistently pay you to take advantage of them. Thankfully, there were other stylists in the building I could try out, and I'm glad I did! Aniya over in Suite 1 is serving up JUST the right services at just the right pace and prices. She's been READY for me when I show up, I've had an amazing shampoo experience on the bowl, she detangles like a pro (no pulling or snags!), and my cornrows stay in place for a month solid. Best of all, she only charged me $50! Now that's a stylist I can get and stay behind. I'm looking forward to trying her silk presses and other services. They're all reasonably priced, and she's a delight to work with: professional, kind, talented, and not trying to make you pay all her bills while having you do half the work. Go check her out!

He and his assistant Amber made me feel right at home and are so very welcoming. I am letting my silver grow out and after a great consultation Jim went to work, adding highlights and lowlights, doing all kind of magic, and gave me a fresh cut afterwards. I was super nervous of how my hair would turn out since this is not an easy transition for me going from medium brown to my now silver. My fears were unfounded and my hair turned out amazing!
