The older lady there has hands that shake badly. Enough so that every time she got close to my ears or my eyes I held my breath and tried not to move. She was nice enough, asking questions and trying to be polite, but I was unable to relax in that short amount of time because I was terrified of being poked. The worst part was the time and price. It took her all of five, maybe seven minutes to thin the bangs and shape up the sides, and had the audacity to charge me $50. $50 for shaky hands and 5 minutes worth of work? I just went back after a few months for another cut and the curly cut and Ashley's care definitely helps bring out the curls and waves and it's amazing. Is it a bit expensive? Sort of - but I can go several months without a cut bc of how my hair is, so it works out (vs. having a particular straight hair style that needs more frequent trims). She was the only one with recent availability. I think she did an ok job on the cut, which was $110 for long hair, $132 after tip. She styled my hair after the cut which was nice. Unfortunately the experience was very painful for me. My scalp felt like how my teeth would feel after a dentist appmt. Her long nails kept scratching me when she was grabbing my hair and she also pulled on the hair really hard while cutting and blow drying. I've been regretting not saying something to her at the time.
