I walked in thinking I made an appt with someone and I actually didn't make the appt. She overheard at the reception and took me in at 4:30pm and did highlights and a cut for me. It's rare to be able to witness such a selfless act these days to go out of the way for someone else. Appointment are available online and through text (phone numbers posted on the website). I randomly picked a stylist online for a cut and balayage. Allison C. did a great job on my hair and was very responsive during text. I sent her some inspiration pics and she helped me navigate my style. I went from long to short hair and she took her time showing me how to get the perfect beach style waves. By the end of my appointment, I felt like I made a friend and a new "regular" stylist. The studio itself is adorable! Love the hanging mirrors, super comfy washing chairs and an adorable waiting area full of complimentary coffee, coke and water. It is overall meant to be a modern, "homey" feel as opposed to a traditional salon. Highly recommend!

She then took a test strand of my hair but rushed me out the door and wouldn't let me stay for the results. I was charged 30 dollars for the consult which I was fine with until Sophia wanted to charge me 400$ for full foils and refused to help me find a solution within my 250$ budget. Then I had to come back two days later because I noticed my highlights were not close to my scalp. It looked like I had regrowth already. It was almost an inch in some places. I went back to get it fixed and it was extremely awkward. She barely said a word to me and I left with still regrowth. When I pulls hair up you can see almost an inch of regrowth still! I had been looking for a salon to do my hair and 4 bridesmaids, my moms and the flower girls hair for my upcoming wedding. She had known this before she ever highlighted my hair. I would have thought she would make sure my hair was correctly done. Overall I'm pretty disappointed. It could have been an opportunity to win new over new clients but instead i left with a bad taste in my mouth. I hope they read the reviews and take something away from it. In an industry that's all about word of mouth every experience counts.
