She even provided a few tips and tricks to help improve my scalp. I wasn't sure about what kind of cut I wanted and my hairstylist helped me figure that out and suggested a few things that will look good for my facial feature. In addition, gave me a look that's easy for a mom of three boys ages 4, 3, and one month old. She kept me talking , I felt welcomed, comfortable, relaxed, and satisfied with my overall experience. You can lookup the wait times online and check-in ahead of arrival. This will put you on the list ahead of anyone that stops in after or does an online check-in after you. 2. No appointment necessary. It's a lot easier than having to make an appointment well in advance. Sometimes there will be waits though. 3. They listen. I've been to a couple salons where I've asked for one thing and gotten something else. Not at Great Clips. They even have tips on how to cut my hair listed when they look up my phone number. 4. They know how to cut my curly hair. Again, I've been to a couple fancy salons that don't know how to cut curly hair (hint: it can't be layered). 5. The price is right. I'm a guy. It's the same simple haircut every time. The goal for me is to find the cheapest place that can do it. Great Clips can.

Today I had a terrible experience at this Ulta location. My cousin is employed at the Florence…read morelocation and recently made a purchase at the Florence location. Today we went to this location to return it. When we first walked in we were not greeted, and nobody was wearing a name tag, nor introduced themselves. When we got to the register the line was long the counter was nasty with the employees food and drinks. When we got to the register we had to wait for 10 minutes for a manager to come help us with the return. The first lady we spoke to told us she could not do a return without a copy of the receipt. We went back out to my car and got an old receipt from ulta which clearly stated that their return policy did not require a receipt if you had an Ultamate membership. We went back in and waited at the counter for a different manager for another ten minutes who told us the same thing. I then read her the return policy on the receipt and she proceeded to look up my cousin's account which she should have done in the first place. Neither of the women helping us even bothered to check the purchase history or offer a store credit. After finding her employee account, the woman then said she could not do a return without a receipt SOLELY because she was an employee. My cousin told her she was wrong and the woman went to make a call to loss prevention and never came back, we waited for probably 20 minutes so we just left. When we were leaving, other people in line came up to us asking if the employees ever got the situation resolved and they were also shocked by the unprofessionalism. During this entire interaction all of the other employees, besides the salon employee, were making comments about us and laughing at us which was very unprofessional and rude. What should have been a simple return turned into time-consuming and aggravating interaction that never came to a solution. My cousin and I are both very upset and appalled by what we witnessed today and hope that Ulta can fix their employees' behavior.
