He helped me choose a style from a few photos online, explained what would work best for my hair, and absolutely nailed it. He offered me coffee, never tried to sell me any products, and gave me honest advice on maintaining my hair. Tim is a genuinely down-to-earth guy who's passionate about what he does. Bridget came highly recommended by a friend. When I mentioned that my appointment with my stylist…read morewasn't for another month and that my bangs were driving me insane, my friend raved about Bridget. So I gave her a call. She was very nice and was more than happy to work with my schedule. During my visit with her, she listened carefully to what I was asking for, asked questions in return to clarify, and went to work on my long mane. We had a very nice casual conversation while she cut my hair. She stated that it was a little intimidating cutting my hair, knowing who my normal stylist is. "He's a hard act to follow". I have to be honest and say that Bridget did a fantastic job. My hair might be long, but it's not easy to cut. This is the first time I have gone to someone, other than my stylist, and have been truly happy with the results. Bridget is knowledgeable, gives attention to detail, and overall, is a very nice person. Her shop is open by appointment only, no walk ins. And she is currently working on getting a credit card machine so she can accept them soon. Her shop is super cute, and easy to find.

However, in this case, the person involved seems either unwilling or unable to reconcile the impact they had. I hired Taylor Robinson to do my hair for my wedding on July 25th, as well as 5 other members of my wedding party. After an in person trial at the Dew or Dye salon and text communications to confirm details over weeks in advance, the big day came! When the agreed meeting time came and went and incessant messages and phone calls on my and my wedding party's part went unanswered, we were able to find a phone number for someone close to Taylor to reach out and try to figure out what was going on. It was only then, after almost an hour after the agreed upon meeting time, that I finally received a text back from Taylor saying she had to take a trip to visit an ill family member and that our appointment had slipped her mind. While Taylor was able to find an emergency replacement, the new stylist wasn't able to meet until 3 pm, three hours after the planned time. The emergency stylist was great, but I ended up being over an hour and a half late to my venue and had to miss out on important pictures, wedding day traditions, and more. After all this, Taylor doesn't seem to understand the gravity of her actions and how they negatively impacted one of the most important days of my and my loved ones' lives. I am very hurt and disappointed by the lack of understanding and professionalism and I highly doubt I or anyone in my family will be a customer of Taylor, or Dew or Dye, in the future.
