The employees were patient with us as first timers and were happy to answer our questions about the menu. I ended up ordering the Iced Lavender Caramel Latte, and it was delicious. It reminded me of one of my favorite local coffee shops back home, which is high praise. I expected it to be on the sweeter side, but it was perfectly balanced. It also wasn't overloaded with ice, so it never reached that watered down stage halfway through the drink. If I'm ever back in Dana Point, I'll gladly stop in for another one.

The croissant with cream and berry was gorgeous, not overly sweet, which is sadly so rare, and the feta cheese and mushroom pastry was amazing.
