*Shiso Salmon Bowl

Food is always amazing. The service is always really quick and every person that works there is always super nice and helpful. If it wasn't for a waitress, giving me a great suggestion, I would've never fell in love. But once she put me onto the Coconut curry sauce, I have been obsessed! I usually get a cocktail with some sushi and an entrée and it never misses. Every friend that I've taken here says they love it and always comes back even by themselves.

I was so excited to finally try Coco and Moss, one of six of Ele Tran's unique and delicious restaurants located in downtown Savannah. I'm a huge fan of chef Tran's other restaurants, like Flying Monk Noodle Bar and Little Duck Diner. Each restaurant is throughtfully created and has its own unique theme and menu to pair -- Coco and Moss is a cocktail and sushi bar with a modern but trendy interior. I was told the poke bowls and sushi are delish, and I have to confirm that that's true. I opted for the Pretty in Pink bowl - it's your standard poke bowl with salmon, pickled and regular cucumber, red onion, mango, cherry tomatoes, avocado, served over a fresh bed of rice -- you can't mess it up. I added a quick splash of soy sauce to tie everything together and it hit the spot! The mango added that perfect contrast of sweetness that really helped balance the savoriness of the entire bowl. The fish is fresh and the portions are large, you really get what you pay for! While we only stopped in for a quick early dinner, I can't wait to return to try their sushi rolls and cocktail menu next time. Recs: Pretty in Pink bowl + Seoul-Mate bowl

Great salads and Poké bowls in a casual but pleasant setting. Portions and quality are all fair for the price.

Sushi in Savannah.... Yes please! This is a nice, clean sushi spot. Good choices hard to choose what to pick. We opted for the California roll and spicy shrimp roll. Good amount of pieces in each order. Tasted fresh and made well.

Love it here. This was my second time visiting. The staff was friendly and the upkeep of the establishment is great. The bathroom was clean and smelled good. I lovedddddd the Mexican roll. So yummy. I wasn't mad at the snapper roll. I'm just not a fan of cream cheese on sushi so I couldn't bring myself to love it but it was still tasty. You can totally get it without the cream cheese. The miso so was also tasty. Loves it here. Will visit again.

Quick and efficient service for affordable sushi. There is not a ton of seating but there is a bar, too. Good for groups of 2-6. Service was helpful. Ambiance was good, with the decoration nicely done without being too instagram-y. We'd come back for a sushi fix!

Cute sushi & cocktail cafe with good service. Corner eatery with lots of action while seated outside savoring their delicious dishes and sipping wine with the family. Will definitely revisit when in Savannah again :)

All I can say is everything I chose to devour tastes so refreshing and healthy. Lol. The server was really nice and accommodating.

This was a lovely place for dinner on a cold night after Thanksgiving, with all the holiday lights coming on in view of its large picture windows. We got a corner booth and ordered cocktails (the green tea old fashioned was my husband's favorite), rolls (they even made a special one for my son), miso soup, and seaweed salad. The seaweed salad was my favorite. Perfectly dressed and seasoned. I loved the decor as well, particularly the bar and the art to the right of the front door.

It's located on top of The Alida hotel (also one of my fave boutique hotels) in the historic River Street district. I've had the chance to visit The Lost Square both during the winter and this past week during the summer. They have a great view of the river and cozy lounge seating, as well as a full bar. The first time I visited was near Christmas and it was freezing outside, but they had a burning fireplace and the cutest little enclosed glass houses you could sit in to enjoy your drinks. During my recent visit, we had our 1 yr old son with us and decided to have dinner there and enjoy the weather. I had the Valencian Spritz (reposado, orange aperitif wine, fresh orange, white pepper, and cava) which was the perfect summer drink. My husband had the Soft Light mocktail (zero proof gin, papaya, kefir, and saline). For food, we started with the Labneh dip topped with olive oil, za'atar, and honey with fresh pitas on the side. Wow, this has got to be the best pita I've ever had. They were so fluffy, warm, and well seasoned. We even got a second order. The labneh dip was phenomenal -- highly recommend for an appetizer or just a snack. We also shared to the falafel bites and the Alida Burger which was very tasty! We'll definitely be back for another visit the next time we're in Savannah!

What a beautiful picturesque place to have some bites and cocktails!…read more I was welcomed into this moody, velvety spot with a sweeping view of the river. Beautiful glass, marble, deep colors of navy, mauve, and gold. Service was wonderful, felt welcomed immediately. For my appetizer, I had the crab cake with homemade tartar sauce, which was a light, bright way to start the evening. For my entree, I had the filet mignon. The server will tell you, the menu says tapas, but the servings are larger than that. Meat portions are generous at 6 oz. My only complaint is that I ordered my steak medium and got closer to well done. At least the steak was still moist and not dried out, but I would be hesitant to do the steak again. The spinach risotto I had with it was creamy and cheesy, however, so that was nice. Other options for food include burrata, a charcuterie board, grilled shrimp, sea bass, salmon, scallops. The cocktails are the real star here. They fall under the categories "strong and adventurous," light fare," and "signature." Non-alcoholic cocktails are also available. I started with the medusa 1597, under "strong and adventurous." Made with Old Tom Gin, extra dry vermouth, truffle, grapefruit, and amaro, it was extremely strong. A bold, slow sipper I would have done better to have later in the evening, but I still appreciate the complexity of it. I also had the Bella primavera, a lighter cocktail under the signature section. Made with pisco, blanc vermouth, French herbal liqueur, watermelon, and basil leaf. A smoother, brighter, faster sip than the Medusa. And I also had the blood orange martini, made with French vodka, blood orange, lime, and cranberry. A little sweet, but not cloying, and again, would have been a better starter as opposed to a closer. I think when I return, I will ask the bartender to make me off the menu drinks. This place seems creative enough that the outcome would be fantastic. I loved this place. The vibe, the view, the service, the offerings. Can't wait to see what more they have in store.
