I was out of town and had an intense craving for a poke bowl. My friends found this place and we decided to grab dinner! Excellent service. The staff was very attentive and kind. I loved the atmosphere as well. I ordered the "Tuna in the Garden" and it was perfect. not too spicy which is what I like in a poke bowl. GREAT food (portions and flavor), countless delicious healthy options, super friendly staff, creative tasty cocktails, and overall great experience. They do not take reservations and be prepared to wait. I would definitely come for an early dinner or lunch. It was well worth the 45 minute wait though! They have indoor and outdoor seating. I got the open sesame cocktail and asked for it extra sweet, the salmon tartare, and the ahi tuna salad. All of the portions were MASSIVE and all the food tasted amazing. The cocktail was very very good too. The food is just so good please get a salad or warm bowl here. The sushi looked bomb too. They warned us that service would be slow since they were so busy but honestly it wasn't any slower than an average restaurant during dinner. The host was super friendly and brought water to us frequently. Our waitress was nice but seemed super busy so she didn't come back too often but the host always got us whatever we needed. My only complaints are that the silverware (other than the chopsticks) is plastic but honestly it didn't matter much. I didn't have trouble eating my salad. Overall, excellent experience here. We came to Savannah on our way to New Orleans and stopped at Coco and Moss. I disliked that we had to put our name in and stay "within visibility" for nearly an hour. We would have preferred to provide our number and be called when our table was ready, to allow us to venture around the town. This is the only negative I'd cite. We ordered a few sushi rolls and a warm chicken/chickpea bowl and it was all delicious. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. The roll was absolutely delicious with a truly nifty combination of flavors that just WORKS. Our bowls were also both satisfying and really well balanced. Minimalistic sleek restaurant with 50% windows looking out on to the square. A great place to people watch, catch a cocktail and/or snack, or order a bowl. The bowl options have a similar base with sushi rice and seasoning, kimchi, daikon, and fresh veggies. It is hard to go wrong as long as there is fresh produce because the only cooked items are the rice and your protein. Everything is presently nicely as you can tell from the photos. They also serve poke and sushi. I had the lemongrass bowl on a hot Savy day. The pork belly was supposed to be crispy but wasn't, so I will probably skip this protein next time. I like variety but this bowl was a bit confused with too many Asian flavors trapped in one bowl. I was glad I resisted pouring the lemongrass dressing. In addition there was already Korean gochujang sauce and Japanese seasoning in the bowl. I compartmentalized the bowl and was content to have something light and refreshing. I have resisted this spot for a while because it felt too trendy and being by the Market it is tourist central. However, on a weeknight it pretty chill. Otherwise, I assume it would be quite noisy due to the close quarters. The mirrors and windows make it feel much larger. The fresh and bright restaurant overlooks Ellis Square and is the perfect spot to get your sushi fix while sightseeing in this sultry (ie hot and humid) city. What a great addition this place is to the Savannah area cute decor and pleasant staff! my husband and I both ordered a different dish along with the blue crab roll sushi to start off with which was a great alternative to the typical California roll. I got the Lao lemongrass and all the flavors came together for a perfectly balanced meal. Highlights were the kimchi, pork belly and the yummy curry dressing that came with the bowl. Disappointed with trying to do a pick up after ordering on Uber Eats within 20 minutes . Said it would be ready at 4:05. Uber said it's ready. Restaurant said nope. Uber updates to 4:10. Nope. Restaurant says Not ready. Restaurant employee tells me another 15-20 minutes again or I can just cancel the $60 dollar meal. The place is packed, inside and out, and all we wanted was to order and pick up and be covid spaced while my husband drove in circles. Can't wait there with all the people everywhere! So many not wearing masks inside and out. Had to cancel. Very frustrated and so sad...I love this place, but trying to order for a pick up, proved unsafe and impossible. Had to opt for something that had a better set up. This was such a scary experience. Update!!! Uber said they won't refund me!!??? The food was great! My husband said his poke bowl was wonderful, I had a warm rice rice baby bowl with beef, and my parents split a Seoul Bowl. We also ordered a Mexican Roll for the table and it was delicious. The beer selection was great and over all we had an enjoyable night. We didn't make a reservation and arrived around 8pm. There were 4 of us, and we didn't really have trouble being sat which was great. There was some hustle between if they could accommodate inside or outside but no problem. We ended up at a table outside, and my only wish was that the outdoor dining tables had as much consideration for comfort as the inside dining looked like. The outside tables were considerably (and understandably) smaller, it was a little chilly (which the restaurant has 0 control over and that's ok) and we felt a little cramped. I don't usually eat curry as it's too spicy for me, but the Bohemian Chickie Bowl packed just a slight kick that was good enough for flavor. My friend Claire and I were looking for a place to eat after walking miles through savannah today. We were actually on our way to a different restaurant but then we saw this place and we were like "okay let's try this instead"! I had like a 4/10 buzz after this and only had one drink so I would say I recommend! Fresh and delicious poke bowls! When in Savannah as a tourist, you eat Southern food and lots of it. When in Rome, right? Or in this case Savannah. Just tried out Coco and Moss and loved it! We've been meaning to try it out for awhile now and we're happy we finally did. If you've had your eye on it definitely pull the trigger and try it out! I had the Seoul Mate which was terrific- I got the steak medium rare and it was perfectly tender and the whole plate was full of flavor. My parents had the Rose Roll and the Volcano Roll and loved both but the Volcano roll pulled slightly ahead on the flavor scale. Everything was very fresh! The staff was also super friendly- one of the waiters even came over and gave my daughter a rubber ducky (that they usually put in drinks) to play with.
