Sunshine bowl

My friends and I stopped in here the night before a race, and had a wonderful dining experience! The service was fast and friendly. They were really patient with all of our many questions! We each had a bowl and they were delicious. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Casual ambience we would definitely return here for a fresh poke bowl.

This is a fast and delicious stop for lunch! The bowls are customizable and come out quickly. I've always had great service. Sometimes it can be hard to find a seat/table, but that just means it's busy for a reason!

Was passing through the town and was recommended by a friend. The staff was so nice and even gave my kids Pokémon cards as kids toys. So adorable! I thought the bowls were lacking Protein. I feel like they could have put more fish in there. The fish was also a little fishy (from my option). Other than that we did takeout order and they were busy so a lot of people who live here seem to like it! There is indoor and outdoor seating

Best poke in Savannah by far. Fresh tuna plenty of fresh ingredients and good size on portions Service was excellent and the place was cute and perfect for a sit down meal

Nom Nom has officially changed my mind about Poke bowls! I am incredibly picky when it comes to raw foods and I honestly think these guys have the best tuna in the area. The flavors in this bowl are vibrant and you get generous portions of all parts for the price you pay. Check them out!

I honestly wanted to enjoy this restaurant. The food is actually really good. The poke bowls we built were very similar to bowls we've had in Hawaii....both taste and quality. HOWEVER, the price did NOT match the quantity of food we received. A half cup of rice and nine tiny cubes of tuna should not cost $20, irregardless of inflation. As a four person family, our meal was over $100 and we only ordered bowls. Nothing else. If we had combined all four bowls into one, that amount of food would be what we had gotten from Nico's in Hawaii for the same price. If you're considering poke for lunch or dinner, I would highly recommend going somewhere else.

While on vacation in Savannah, I ate so damn many fried foods and things covered in cream sauces. Don't get wrong, they were delicious but at a certain point my body gave me an ultimatum and demanded something that hadn't seen the inside of a deep fryer. Nom Nom entered the chat. Craving something fresh and light, Nom Nom delivered. I ordered the Sunshine Bowl and was both satisfied and relieved to have fresh food but it was also delicious. It really hit the spot and gave me the fuel to keep on going. Friendly service, clean location and tasty eats!

Food came out quick and the worker was great to help me decide what to order. I got the tuna Poké bowl with half rice/greens and added krab salad and seaweed salad. It was so fresh and flavorful. Can't wait to go again.

Tuna Salmon half rice half greens with Sesame Vinaigrette & Side of Baja sauce.... Oh my wow. I just visited Hawaii in December and had Poke and this 110% exceeded expectations. Fresh, light, sweet ambiance and kind staff. The Baja sauce cannot be explained. An absolute must. THANK YOU

So yummy. Could eat here everyday! Coming from Hawaii where we have pretty high standards for poke I have to say that this was a pleasant surprise. Love the combinations of flavors.

Being from a big city, like New York City, I have a lot of options for different types of foods from around the world. So Hawaiian poke, it's something you can find very easily. I was happy that I was able to find a poke spot here in Savannah. Luckily, the quality of the food was very high and the service was impeccable. My only two comments that may not be so positive is the limited space inside of the restaurant, and the quantity of food that was given. If I were to build my own bowl that I could possibly change, but I just went with a quick option that they are used to making.

I believe I haven't written my review of Nom Nom yet, I absolutely love this place!!! I never have a bad meal here and the staff is so amazing! This is the perfect place to come grab a quick bite to eat! Everything on the menu is amazing, full of flavor and just overall wonderful! The area is so nice to sit outside and the inside is even cooler!

Nom Nom Poké Shop is another gem in the Starland District. It may be small, but it is mighty!!! Nom Nom is located on a corner off of Bull street. It's next to a real estate management company. And just a few doors down from Foxy Loxy. Parking can be found on the street depending on the time of day. Sometimes you can luck up & get a spot right in front. But generally parking on one of the side streets is a more realistic bet. The restaurant itself for indoor dining has just a few seats. And then some tables right outside too. I like to get my food to go. It's quick and easy. Let's talk about poké! Yes, to fresh fish! Yes, to fresh produce! Nom Nom Poké always has fresh food. I love it! They have many different bowl options. I've had a few. I have loved each of them. My favorite is their spicy tuna bowl. If you love spicy tuna rolls like I do this poké bowl is going to be your new fave. It comes with a seaweed salad & fried shallots for crunch. Plus the tuna is cut to perfection & not over dressed. So you can taste everything individually. Or if you're like me, mix everything together and enjoy! They have lots of unique and fun drink options too in a small refrigerator next to the counter. I love their kombucha flavors! But for non kombucha lovers there's lemonade, ginger ale, and a few other options. All made by small businesses. I love to see small businesses support other small businesses! The interior is a fun surfer Hawaiian vibe. They literally have a surf board on a wall! Along with wicker light fixtures & large glass windows so lots of natural light comes in. The bathroom is open & kept clean! Give Nom Nom Poké a try! You won't regret it!

The following review: Service - An employee by the name of Colin, who helped me at the register and take my order was very friendly, welcoming, and very patient with me. He was able to explain things to me on the menu while I was trying to decide on things. Food - I ordered, a bowl of rice, gyoza, chicken karaage, a tonkatsu ramen with char siu. Everything was well cooked, tasted great, the gyoza and chicken was nice hot and crispy. Ambiance - I'm not really an anime person but I appreciate the overall idea and concept. I thought it was pretty cool with the Batman at the front and Pokemon cards for sale.

Verenice was the BEST! Give that girl a raise or a promotion! She was doing it all! From taking orders, bringing food out, and cleaning up tables! She helped us navigate the menu/ordering. She also brought out our food to the table and was so helpful during our first time here. There were lots of ramen options to choose from. You choose your broth and meat option and that tells you your price. You can add extra toppings for additional costs. Runs about less than $20 a person. They have fountain drink options as well as other Asian drinks. They have rice bowl options as well as meat on a stick. They don't have kids meal options but it's about $8 for noodles and broth. Which is a good option for kids. I ordered shoyu broth for my son. I didn't realize it would taste so salty. I understand it's a soy sauce broth. But most ramen broths I've had isn't to that degree. I asked if they could add hot water to the hot water to make it less salty. Verenice again was so helpful, she brought the ramen back out and said if I needed more water added to just ask. I will say I did not appreciate the additional comments from some of the kitchen staff. The place is decorated with lots of anime characters. They have a vending machine with goodies. A claw machine with stuffed animals and lots of Pokémon cards for sale.

I always get the Spicy Lemongrass Noodles (baseline usually not very spicy- you can add table side spices to your liking). They vary a little year to year but I always enjoy them. Cold air inside, waters stayed full, but it can be fairly noisy depending who you're sat next to and how busy the place is. Tables can be a bit tight for a couple as you'll only get a 2 top (they get busy and need to save the larger tables for bigger parties). We were able to order before the 10 top next to us, so our food came out super fast! (Yay!!) Could use two bathrooms though, the one they have is large but when they are packed it can be quite a wait. Lots of metered street parking on Broughton and nearby streets. We'll be back again!

Makes it fun to try dishes from different locations, especially for those unfamiliar with Asian cuisine. Very pricey menu. Pad Thai 2.5/5 could have had way more flavor and had zero spice, and they didn't ask if we wanted a spice level at all. Flavor came out once chili sauce was added. Red spicy noodles were spicy and yummy! 5 spice BBQ pork plate was super flavorful, loved this dish! Lychee sake martini just tasted like lychee juice which was great. They also add in 2 lychees to eat/garnish! A good spot, nothing to write home about. Probably wouldn't come back, there was nothing wrong with the place, just nothing exceptional.
