Came out to replace a key for my motorcycle. Absolute pleasure doing business with Mark! Will definitely use him in the future!

He did a great job. Very friendly and it didn't take him long for all. He actually walked to my place in Plainville from North Attleboro. That's a long walk and he showed up. My son gave him a ride back read more

Great Owner! Really fast and professional and priced fairly. He was on time, communication was A+++.

Mark is really an awesome guy. I came in late afternoon on a Saturday with an ignition cylinder called the number on the door and he came right over and even fixed it right there on the spot for way less than it would have cost to replace it and it worked like new. To top it off I forgot my phone in the shop after I left and I felt so bad calling him to come back but he did, what a nice guy glad to have him local! read more

Needed to have some work done on two access door locks to our house and called Mark. He came out and made the house call at the time we agreed and the work was perfect. Not being good with items like door locks the ability to have Mark come to the house was awesome and a great value! I'd recommend Cobbs Lock and Key for any of your needs! read more

My mom's front door was fixed the day I called. He even taught us how to fix it in the future ourselves if it jams up again. read more

Go to the store to get a key made and store is closed at 4 pm. Website says closing at 5pm. Best part is I called and a girl said they don't make copies of keys. Big lit sign out front window that says keys. Explain please???? read more

We fitted a new door over the weekend, and I forgot that it self locks from the inside and to take the new key with me. I was in a panic as I had to take a work conference call. Once phoned Cobbs Lock & Key service was with me within 15mins and fixed my problem within moments of arriving. Although I hope the same issues never happens again, I'm feeling better knowing that any issue can be resolved very quickly. read more

We locked ourselves out of our apartment and Mark showed up promptly. He was extremely professional, and after spending over an hour on a lock that had an extensive security device within, charged me a minimal amount. Would highly recommend these guys! read more

I would never, ever recommend this company to my worst enemy. I called them to change the locks on my house after I recently purchased my new home. The man who arrived was less than professional. He spent the majority of his time complaining to me about his various personal issues. He threw small shards of metal into my garden bed (without asking first) where, quote un-quote, no one would cut themselves. Well, I already did cut myself through my leather gardening gloves. The best part is, one of the locks he changed didn't even work properly afterwards. When I turned my key in the lock on the handle it would rotate 360 degrees! Given that I had lost confidence in this "professional's" technical ability I ate the cost and had another lock smith come out and re-do all the previous work. This was a complete waste of time and money, do yourself a favor and save yours. read more

I agree with KB of Rhode Island. This guy is the most rude condescending business owner I have ever met. It appears to the owner that the customers are doing him a favor when they request a simple key cut. He will speak down to you and try and make you feel stupid. I would go to the ends of the earth before I would give him a dime. Because locksmiths are hard to find, he believes he is God's gift, which is ironic because he claims to be faithful servant of the Lord. All BS read more

Purchased a 1992 BMW M5 with one key. I found a key-blank online and the car does not require a chipped key;but it needs a side-cut done properly. Mark was able to cut my blank perfectly and did it for $20, This was $125 less than BMW.. He also sells the blank which is hard to find outside of BMW or China. Using his blank would have been $35. Mark is a genuinely nice person and very informative. Worth the trip from wherever you are travelling from. Thanks Mark! read more

I've used Cobb's Lock and Key on and off over the years and found them to be on time and extremely knowledgable. We inherited a house in Attleboro and wanted to change the locks, rather than recommend complete new door knobs he re-keyed the locks saving us a lot of money. We even had Mark re-key them one more time after the tenant left and refused to give the keys back. The latest dealings with Mark involved trying to get a key made for a friend of mine with a Piper Airplane. My friend had been to about 4 other locksmiths who cut the key all right but it would not work. Mark gave me a 'blank' had me draw a line on how far into the lock the blank fit and how far the original fit. When I returned he cut the key in less than 3 minutes. Wouldn't even take a dime until I tried it and made sure it fit.! Highly recommend Mark and Cobb's Lock and Key Service! read more

After reading the reviews on line, I decided to take my replacement Scion key to Cobbs. I had bought the key on line, and had programmed the key to lock/unlock the car doors from instructions on the seller's web site. When Mark at Cobbs was told this, he treated us very coldly. I gladly paid the 20.00 for the key cutting, but felt like I was treated differently because I didn't need to buy the programming (60.00). read more

Very rude!! I dealt with him once previously. He did solve the problem, but wasn't polite even then. I, however, decided to give him a benefit of a doubt and called him again this time with the new problem with the lock in my investment property. He gets annoyed very quick, especially if you speak with accent. So if you do, don't give him your money!! Call somebody else! I am glad I made a decision over the phone not to go on with him; seems that he thinks he is the only locksmith in the area. read more

Good service and appears to be an expert locksmith. Was able to change an old door lock that 2 locksmiths before them were not able to do. Pricing is not cheap, but fairly reflects the high skill and expertise of their work. Will use again. read more
