These guys are life savers!…read more I recently moved into a new apartment complex in which my boyfriend and I were only provided with one set of keys. The landlord told us we needed to contact these guys to get copies made (there is a stamp on the keys saying duplicates can't be made elsewhere). Not a problem. I called them on a Friday and they told me they are not taking walk-in customers at this time due to COVID-19 but would try to get someone to call me on the following Monday to set up an appointment. I was a little nervous at first hearing that because there is no way the both of us can continue with our day to day lives with only one set of keys when we both have jobs. That Saturday we both left the apartment to pick up a pizza around 9PM at night when I realized I left my set of keys in the apartment. The only ones we had to get in. To say I had a mini meltdown is an understatement. The landlord instructed us to call them to see if they could get a locksmith out to come and open our door but it wouldn't be guaranteed (since it was 9PM on a Saturday night). As we waited with bated breath, someone from the company was able to come within 15 minutes to open our door (a mistake which cost me $100, ouch!). I couldn't be more thankful for someone able to come last minute at such a horrible time. The following Monday I called the company again to see if I could come in to get like 3 sets of keys made (because at this point I couldn't AFFORD another mistake like that or anymore mental anguish). The man on the phone told me to come right down. I got there within 5 minutes, he took my keys right away and made all the copies I needed. The whole process was quick and painless. They also took really great measures to ensure their and my safety during COVID-19 (wore masks and gloves and signed the pin pad for me to avoid spread of germs). I understand how much of a pain I probably was and they accommodated me even during the pandemic. Awesome guys, just awesome.

On arriving everyone was nice, the place has all sorts of keys for car and home including safety boxes. The process took no more than about 20 minutes. The only thing I would say is that the key sometimes comes out the fob and that the range to press the keys to lock and unlock are not like my prior fob which had a longer range. I feel like I need to be closer to the car to lock and unlock. For that reason I give a 3 star

I tried other locksmiths, and they either didn't get the job done, or they were never in their shop. Which was incredibly frustrating, cost over $100, and a waste of a week's worth of time! I finally broke down and called a Nissan dealership; they wanted $65+Tax for the key and $135to program the key, so over $200 for a key. Luckily I decided to search one more google map search and found Jon's Locks. I called them, and the message said," if we don't pick up, please text us," which I did, they immediately texted me back and quoted me $75 plus tax. I Immediately went there (skeptical that this was too good to be true). When I got there, I was met by the owner's son, and he confirmed the price and explained how they could do it for that price. All I can say is that they're friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, respectful, fair, and deserving of your business.
