These guys are life savers! I recently moved into a new apartment complex in which my boyfriend and I were only provided with one set of keys. The landlord told us we needed to contact these guys to get copies made (there is a stamp on the keys saying duplicates can't be made elsewhere). Not a problem. I called them on a Friday and they told me they are not taking walk-in customers at this time due to COVID-19 but would try to get someone to call me on the following Monday to set up an appointment. I was a little nervous at first hearing that because there is no way the both of us can continue with our day to day lives with only one set of keys when we both have jobs. That Saturday we both left the apartment to pick up a pizza around 9PM at night when I realized I left my set of keys in the apartment. The only ones we had to get in. To say I had a mini meltdown is an understatement. The landlord instructed us to call them to see if they could get a locksmith out to come and open our door but it wouldn't be guaranteed (since it was 9PM on a Saturday night). As we waited with bated breath, someone from the company was able to come within 15 minutes to open our door (a mistake which cost me $100, ouch!). I couldn't be more thankful for someone able to come last minute at such a horrible time. The following Monday I called the company again to see if I could come in to get like 3 sets of keys made (because at this point I couldn't AFFORD another mistake like that or anymore mental anguish). The man on the phone told me to come right down. I got there within 5 minutes, he took my keys right away and made all the copies I needed. The whole process was quick and painless. They also took really great measures to ensure their and my safety during COVID-19 (wore masks and gloves and signed the pin pad for me to avoid spread of germs). I understand how much of a pain I probably was and they accommodated me even during the pandemic. Awesome guys, just awesome. read more

I needed a new fob key for my car and after calling around I went with this business. On calling the gentleman was informative gave me a price that to me seemed better than going to the dealership. He did try to fit me in the same day but was unable to which was on as I was not in a rush. He did fit me in for the following day. He did advice to bring all key to get reprogrammed. On arriving everyone was nice, the place has all sorts of keys for car and home including safety boxes. The process took no more than about 20 minutes. The only thing I would say is that the key sometimes comes out the fob and that the range to press the keys to lock and unlock are not like my prior fob which had a longer range. I feel like I need to be closer to the car to lock and unlock. For that reason I give a 3 star read more

Called Northeastern when front door lock stopped working.  Took 3 days for them to come.  Paid $150 for the man to "fix" it -- within a day needed to call to tell them not fixed.  Same tech came back and 'fixed' it again. When it failed the third time, we called another locksmith.  He came and showed us (even without taking apart the lock at all, what the problem was -- we could see it with our elderly naked eyes and he replaced the entire lock with a better model and put in a plate where the Northeastern guy had gouged out part of our door frame to make a bigger hole.  Our successful locksmith was embarrassed by the shoddy workmanship of Northeastern.  If we could see the looseness of the door bolt, why couldn't your tech and why did he fiddle with resetting the tumblers? Basically we threw $150.00 to the wind -- a really painful thing for us on disability and Social Security. Would never recommend since the person who came was obviously unskilled and not knowledgeable and didn't fix anything.. read more

Very helpful staff, quickly diagnosed the issue with my car (my keys didn't unlock the doors but did start the ignition; they took the inside of the door apart and were able to fix the issue in ~10 min). Extremely polite and professional service throughout. read more

Through a series of events, it was an emergency to get our locks on ALL of our entry doors replaced. I called early in the day and they were at my house in a few hours. I then realized that I had no way to pay them on that day - that was no problem for them. "Just call the office on Monday and give them the credit card information". A few days later I need my car re-keyed. Not just a copy of a key made but an entire new key including the door lock to the car. No problem. It was an involved process but it was done quickly and the keys work perfectly. No wonder each of the other reviews here are for 5 stars each. My only problem is that I wished there were 6 or 7 or maybe 10 stars to give. read more

I had lost my ignition key to my classic first gen Honda Civic, and was told by a few other companies that it would be nearly impossible to replace. Doug sent out two techs who came and solved the issue overnight. Highly professional and courteous, couldn't recommend more! read more

Joe and the guys at Northeastern Security Safe and Lock were great. I checked around and their prices were very competitive. Joe was the only shop owner who told me about a cheaper option for my other wise $250 car key. He was also the only owner that consistently wrote back to me and made himself available on my day off. The shop was pretty easy to find and I was in and out (cutting and programming included in less time than he estimated. Awesome business that made my life much easier and saved me money to boot. Thanks Joe! read more

Joe, owner of Northeast Security is great! He took the time to help me out with replacing and programming an Infinity (Nissan) key fob after two other locksmiths either didn't know how to deal with a slightly unusual key fob, or didn't want to bother with it. He special ordered the fob blank called me when it came in and took care if it without a hitch. Yes, you can get a key fob replaced without going through the dealer, and save well over $100 by doing so. read more

It was a pleasure working with this company. The locksmith arrived on time and did good work. He was pleasant and professional and pointed out an inexpensive fix to a small problem with our lock. He was even able to make me a bunch of copies of our key on the spot, in his truck. Thumbs up! read more

Had a home safe installed. Very pleased. Patient and very professional service. Joe was great. Pricing is very fair. Was able to get an appointment quickly. Was given a 1 hour window of arrival. They called ahead to narrow that window - which I really appreciated - and they arrived exactly on schedule. Will use them again. Would highly recommend. read more

I can't say enough about my experience with this company. The front office was friendly, efficient, and responsive. Cesar was my locksmith. He came on time and was very polite. We have an old house with old-fashioned doors that weren't shutting and some that needed locks. Where another locksmith had no solution, Cesar fixed the problem easily. And where the other locksmith suggested deadbolts on interior doors, Cesar worked with the existing locks and kept our doors looking nice. The price was very fair, considering the other quote I got was for less work and three times the cost. I am very pleased! read more

Great customer service and work! I had to have a lock installed on short notice and I left a message before the shop opened. Joe, the owner, called me right back and we scheduled a same day appointment. Matt came and installed the lock. He did a great job. He was professional and very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this company!! read more
