Random walk in with an older 98 imported car for a key replacement. Wasnt an easy task but Christopher made me a perfect replacement and was able to even keep the fob functions which places said they couldn't. I was in and out within the hour despite hurdles to get the key programmed due to my car for a honestly super good price. read more

Super nice people. Josh was up front with me - he said my aftermarket fob probably wouldn't work. But it worked and he saved me more than 1/2 over the dealer. Thanks AA Locksmith! read more

Fantastic experience from beginning to end! Christopher was professional, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions! Keys were made quickly and correctly! Highly recommended! read more

Below is the Google review them it's update. This is not a good locksmith.... This dude knows what he's talking about. Very knowledgeable and professional. He looked at my car key and diagnosed a problem with my ignition and brought out a dummy example to show me. I'm definitely going back to him when I'm ready to fix my car ignition! Review update: I finally got the work done that I needed as stated above. It turned out to be a fiasco. This is what I texted them: This dude knows what he's talking about. This is what I texted them: "Hello. This is Jerediah, the owner of the Ridgeline that was worked on yesterday. I'm going to complain about the complete mess left in my truck. All the contents of the glove compartment were scattered all over the floor of the front seat for unknown reasons. I specifically sent pictures to show where the keys were, yet the glove compartment was rummaged through. This is unacceptable. I'm disappointed and dissatisfied with the service. Between this and John not giving me all the information about potential complications upfront when I explicitly told him the make and model of my truck when I had my key duplicated months ago when he told me the ignition cylinder was on the fritz. Then I called with the same info a week ago and still, nothing was told to me about the safety lock. I was gonna let all that go, then I get to my truck to find it a complete mess. I didn't have my truck for 2 weeks because I was led to believe it was an easy fix. 2 weeks! All I was told was to bring the ignition cylinder in. I'm never using your service again and I'll be writing a bad review on Google. This is after writing a great review after my initial interaction with John. So disappointed." read more

Good keys, better get prices on keys before they wack you for 8 and 9 dollar keys. Went in made 6 keys, they charged 42.00

I've had at least 3 occasions when Ferdie's did not obey their posted business hours; the most recently I had called ahead at 3:30pm to find out if they could make some key copies, asked how late they were open (they said 5), and when I arrived at 4:30 found that no one was in the shop. I left phone messages asking what happened and when they would be open again, and no one ever called me back. They may have been around for some time, but after several experiences of not respecting their own posted business hours, not respecting my time, and not caring enough to return my calls, I'm done with Ferdie's - never, ever again. I recommend you find a locksmith that doesn't have so many customers they don't care about treating newer customers poorly. (And this isn't a one person operation, I had been in the shop several times previously and they definitely have more than one person working, so there is no good excuse not to obey posted business hours, or certainly not to disappear after promising a customer you would be open, or to not call a customer back after he calls to ask when they will [allegedly] be open again.) read more

They are friendly, professional, very fair in their pricing, fast and knowledgeable. What more could you want. This is the best locksmith I've dealt with in my decades of owning businesses. read more

Can we ever make up our mind Change name again I am not surprised at all Never ever met locksmith that are barely ever opened and are rude Could not even get into my 1996 Oldsmobile trunk when I mistakenly locked the keys inside. They tried 200+ different keys nothing. My 12 year old neighbor googled it and found a clip he removed it in under a minute and got my trunk opened. So, I have him the $200 that they were trying to charge me. He was thankful and told.me he was buying Locksmith Course but, NOT the same one these guys used. read more

Josh was responsive to our phone call and came out the next day to switch out three separate door locks and install key pads or new door knobs/ locks in each one. He was super efficient and very fair pricing! Will continue to use when needed! read more

Saved my butt last minute when I had a little locker incident. And they were happy to do it! Friendly, professional and competitive pricing. They arrived about 30 minutes after I called them asking for help. As far as the other post about them not being open... it's probably because they were out on a job. That's what locksmiths do! Like what they did for me when I had an emergency. I am appreciative and they even helped me out with something else while they were there. I would definitely do business with this company again. read more

Just used Ferdie's although I think they've changed their name to Affordable Locksmith. They were able to come out quickly and showed up on time. The guy that came, I think Eric, was polite and fixed the lock quickly. Price was decent too. No complaints. read more

Josh is very knowledgeable and skilled. He came to the rescue as soon as he could. While he was here, he also fixed two other lock problems that other locksmiths had a hard time repairing. I work for a property management company and since AA Locksmith is fairly close, I decided to open an account with them. I am all for supporting "mom and pop shops", but sometimes, they are just plain unreliable, and this locksmith is one of them. I have to call ahead every time I need keys to make sure they are there in the Pawtucket location. Majority of the time they seem to be in the Central Falls location, which, if that is the case, they should update their address and their hours of business which say 9AM-4PM. They always seem to be out of stock of the keys I need as well in the Pawtucket location. If you are going to have two locations, they should both be properly staffed and stocked. Otherwise, what is the point of having two locations? read more

I called there and the voice message said hours are 9AM-4pm........I arrived at 9:30 AM and the store was closed.....however there was a truck leaving the lot with Ferdies key logo.....I stopped the truck and the driver informed me that he was on his way to an appt and since he was the only person working at that time he had to close the shop..............I told him this was not a good way to run a business if the hours posted are not honored......... I went to Bennys to get my keys made read more
