You will 1) be absolutely deceived when being sold one of their unlimited wash "specials"; you will be told this special will last 30 days, but in reality you are being signed up - without your consent - for a monthly service. 2) When you try to get a refund you cannot simply and reasonably go to the location, or do it over the phone with one of their customer service reps like a regular/ethical business (you can never get ahold of anyone anyways), you have to fill out an online form to cancel the membership you never agreed to - with of course no mention of an actual refund on the form, just the cancellation. Congratulations Cobblestone Auto Spa, your reputation as a business is worth $31. Cobblestone executives think sleazing $31 from a customer is appropriate, and possibly worth losing them over. read more

Stopped for a wash today and didn't realize that I didn't have cash on me for a tip. I profusely apologized to the man who finished the wash. Horrible! My husband took his truck there this afternoon to get it hand washed and vacuumed/inside cleaned. To start with the wash, they did a very poor job!! Bugs still stuck all over the truck and black dirt all over still. He had to wa his truck himself. The inside was not even touched, still extremly dirty and does not look like they even attempted to clean it. Also someone left a HUGE scratch on the drivers side of his brand new truck. Just a while ago, I had stopped by for a car wash. The guy that checked me (my car) in was lively and had great customer service. The cashier (lady) was amazing as well, very friendly. However, I had three guys working on my car and I expected to get what I paid for. The workers did a half-ass job vacuuming the interior and wiping things down. I was going to give a 1 star however, I ended up calling the location and talked to a manager (Harvey) who was very receptive to what I had to say. I went to get my car washed a month ago. They told me it would be $24 for the premium wash. I thought okay that's sounds fine. Well it wasn't a premium wash. The only reason I got my car washed was one mark on my radio and when I got in the car it was still there. But that is not the reason I am leaving this review. The next month I get a charge for $35 from them and I have no idea why. I went in and spoke to the manager and they informed me their coworker had signed me up for the monthly wash without my knowledge. I ask for a refund and show the receipt I have saying it was $24. They say they will unenroll me and refund me. Well today I get a second $35 charge on my card and still no refund. Yesterday, I drove into Cobblestone for a car wash. Again they have raised the basic to $25.00. Well okay, at least my car will be clean. The outside was clean and wiped down but they did not vacuum. I drove back and showed them that in fact it had not been vacuumed. They then asked one of their people take care of the problem. He actually appeared that he was working and vacuuming my car but it was all for show. Interior of my car still needs to be cleaned. I have been going to Cobblestone for quite a while. I have tried calling their phone number, leaving voicemails, and emailing them over the past month to have my subscription canceled and no one ever answers the phone or replies to messages. I was charged on Dec 27th for a subscription that should have already been canceled. I have seen mixed reviews for this business, but since it is close to where I live I decided to give it a try. I only get my car detailed once or twice a year and would prefer to support local businesses in Cave Creek if possible. I was indeed pleasantly surprised! Guy listened to all my concerns about their "service" and what I wanted done to my auto. He made sure my white SUV was detailed from top to bottom and gave me a very fair deal. When I went to pick up my car it was almost completed. That gave me the chance to meet Carlos, who had worked very hard to make my "older" SUV look almost brand new. He was very professional and you could tell he was proud of his work; but he wanted to make sure I approved. Which I did! Hats off to the Cobblestone crew in Cave Creek! Absolutely pathetic. For the third time in a row. None of the bugs were taken off the bumper or mirrors, there were grease streaks and road grime on the fenders, the back of the car had greasy dust I wiped off with my finger to show this uncaring kid who walked around with me. I don't think the back of the car even got wet. It sure didn't get soap. I get it in the sun on the way home, there's stuff on the drivers window that should have been seen, the windshield has two areas that should have been cleaned better, and I'm looking at the dashboard and it seems dirty still. So I run my fingers over the area between the steering wheel and the gauges. Full of dust, never touched. Still dirt in the drivers door handle, the center console, and garbage in the passenger side. Absolutely terrible and no manager outside. Just this goof trying to get me the hell out of there by spraying and wiping a few places. 31 bucks for essentially nothing. Go elsewhere or head up to carefree highway. When the 4 sons on carefree and cave creek is working it does a decent job on the outside. read more

*BUYER BEWARE* Sometime ago, I purchased 10 automobile "Full Detail" coupons with no expiration dates from Cobblestone Auto Spa, since I have used 5 of them without any problem. I recently went to the Cobblestone Auto Spa franchise at which I purchased the coupons for an auto detail and was told the coupons were no longer valid for a full detail because the price of a detail had increased. I was told that my options where to redeem the coupons for what I paid for them or make up the difference out of pocket for the current price of the detail. I was also informed that had I purchased the coupon a month ago and the price had increased, the policy would be the same. I feel Cobblestone Auto Spa is misleading customers with their coupons for service and has no intensions of honoring their commitment. Had I known, this was their policy, I would have never paid $800.00 for "Full Detail" coupons, for there is no advantage to buying coupons in advance. read more

Well, let me tell you, this was and continued to be a disaster from the very beginning! First, I had my 6 year old son with me. I am a cancer patient and time with him is precious and he enjoys going with me to do things. I pull into the entry area, and was greeted to begin the process of "up selling" me the available products. I explained my needs, and explained that I have some knowledge of the business and that I am choosing his location for convenience. He tried to up sell, get this, $400!! for an inside, outside wash, wax, and detail. What? I can have the same thing done for less than $200 elsewhere. So, I declined and chose the $40 "ultimate" wash with interior vac with dash detail. So, this should take about 30-45 minutes if done right and by at least 2 people. Instead, 10 minutes later my name is announced. I proceed to pay, go outside, and lo and behold, they ran it through the auto wash, wiped it down, and sent it on its way!!! So, a $7.99 drive through wash for $40!!??? When I complained, the gentleman literally laughed in my face!!! I told him to do the entire job over again and he laughed again, and went to get his "manager". By this point, my time had been wasted, and my trust had been broken. Not to mention, the insulting treatment. So, O proceeded to get, only after demanding, my refund, and departed. So, lesson learned: dishonest practice, if you decline the up sells, you get what amounts to a basic $8 wash at best, and you'll be insulted in the process. The car wash here is awful. I'm going to preface that both my wife and I have used this before and we're not pleased at all, but that's was a year ago. I just bought my wife a new used car. It was certainly in need of an interior clean. I suggested Cobblestone due to ease and convenience. She didn't want to, but I said 'let's give em another shot'. She went and paid for the most expensive wash - $38. Needless to say their efforts were tragic. 100% didn't look vacuumed or cleaned at all. Just a quick wipe down, if that. GO ELSEWHERE! I have received the diamond car wash twice looking to get my floor Matt's cleaned. However my third time being here and less two weeks and they unfortunately still didn't clean my Matt's, which I pay extra for. they also left a Matt out of my car and I had to remind them one was missing.. when I received my car I realized the dash was not wiped down and I had to also fix my drivers Matt as it was over my drivers petal. As I returned back around I expressed that kalief was promising and kind and I expressed my concerns to someone else having me send it through AGAIN. As I am waiting (this time outside instead of in) I'm hearing a young man drop words like fat bitch as he is talking to a tall red shirt man and they're laughing as cars are waiting and keep in mind I already waiting 40 the first time....this is my second time through as of today... I'm disappointed in the services provided the passed three times as I have came here for years prior too. As well as I am disappointed in the customer service I have received. My auto is in Texas and I called to cancel the automatic credit card deduction for auto washes. I was first given a disconnected number. Then given a number that would ring five times and then quit. No customer service. No corporate office answering either. Tried for well over and hour to reach someone. No luck. I will now contact my credit card company to see if they can stop the charges. This company is run by what appear to be very dishonest people. I am done with them. Avoid them like the plague. I told them I needed my back seats scrubbed because my dog got his paw prints all over, and I was told that it wouldn't be a problem -- only to get in my car and see that my seats looked exactly the same, plus there was still dog hair all over! I've had numerous experiences here that they do not completely clean your car. I purchase the platinum wash only to discover that they didn't vacuum inside at all nor did they wipe down the interior. I've had to complain and have it run through again and again. They can't seem to get it right! So check your cars people! read more

My husband took my car here for a car wash. He purchased "The Works" for $24. When he arrived home, he said, you're going to have to go back because they didn't even wipe the car down on the inside. This was after he had already spent time telling the guy to throw the empty cup out, etc. I took the car back down and asked to speak with the manager Noah, he came out, checked the car and said, yes, you still have dust on your dash and on the steering column. While he went to get a rag to wipe it down, I opened the back to see if they vacuumed the cargo area and No, they did not. Noah returned and I explained the car didn't look like it was vacuumed either. He said no worries, pull over to the vacuum area and I can vacuum it for you. I did just that, the problem is, I had to walk the manager through everything I wanted done, including vacuuming areas where you could clearly see crumbs. Had I not said anything, he was prepared to let the car drive away not cleaned. He thanked me for understanding but I did not have time to go over the entire car and explained to him what his team should have done for the $24. He explained that they had been slow all day but then just got busy and that's why my car was cleaned that way, but I didn't pay for 1/2 a " Full Works" I paiid the full amount. Nor did they say, hey we are super busy, we can't do a full right now. No they took my money and basically washed the outside if my car and dried it. Why would it be acceptable just because they got busy. While driving home from work tonight, I noticed that none of the windows had been cleaned on the inside as well. I decided to get an oil change here today. It actually ended up being cheaper than the place I go to regularly. I told then exactly what I wanted and felt I needed done to my car and they delivered. Upfront about the costs, included a car wash. I asked for a tire rotation and they were honest when they told me they will not do it as I need new tires first (purchased elsewhere as they do not sell tires). I expected an okay car wash because it comes with a basic and that is what I received. I did not upgrade however the guy helping me did offer to upgrade for an extra cost. They said it would take about 45 minutes and it took less than that. read more

We bring our cars here because they're dirty. The point of a car wash is to clean a dirty car. I was there today and witnessed them literally chase down a woman and her little girl for the same reason! Good thing this poor woman stood her ground. They have really gone downhill. I have faithfully used them during the past 7 years and after my last experience, I will be using another service. They are lazy and cut corners. When they finished with my car, it still had dirt all over it and inside was all dusty. I immediately tried to speak to the manager and they were not available. I've been going to this car wash for a few years. It's close, and I can get a wash for $3.00. That's the only positive thing about this place. Each time I use the $3.00 wash, I'm accosted by an employee, who is trying to get me to buy more washes. They don't give up! When I run my truck through the wash, it does about an 80% job. The blower doesn't blow all the water off. When your done, you need to bring a wet rag to catch what the machines miss. I think Stevie Wonder could do a better job!! The area where you vacuum your vehicle is always dirty. The vacuum hoses are too short to reach the inside of the car. I ask other people cleaning their cars, to see if I'm off base. NOPE I think I'm being very generous giving them one star. UPDATE: Okay folks, there's a new game now! Now, the sign out front of the car wash, that had that big "3" is gone. It appears they're now playing, "hide the ball". Now, you have to GUESS how much to pay. Just out of curiosity, I drove up to the area, where you pay, and asked the guy, who puts the bite on you, to buy more washes. He looked at me like I owed him money, probably because he was in the middle of a sale, to some unsuspecting female. I had to wait till he was finished reminiscing to talk to him. I asked how much the "quick wash" was. In a grumpy voice, he said, "$5.00." I asked what happened to the $3.00 wash. I guess he didn't like that question, because he never answered me. So the highway robbery continues! By the way, there's another Cobblestone wash, by Costco. On Cave Creek. $3.00, and is newer, and does a better job. Another update! Well, I guess the party is over. Now, the Cobblestone car wash, next to Costco, is now, $5.00! Meet the new boss, same as the new boss! They still do a better job then the one on Tatum, and Cave creek road. For now, that's all she wrote! Okay, call me stupid! After all the negative reviews, I've been giving this place, I decided to give them another chance. I went there to get some propane. I waited by the propane filling area, thinking someone would see me there, and say something to someone......crickets!!!!! I waited for about 10 minutes, before I went to the cashier. When I walked in, no one was being helped. The cashier was behind the counter. I asked what I had to do to get some propane. He said I needed to come in, and ask. I told him I'd been waiting for 10 minutes, and thought he'd see me, and say to himself, "Oh! Someone is waiting by the propane filling station. I'd better get someone to help him!" He said the Lube department takes care of filling propane bottles, and he would call someone to help me. I walked back to the area. While waiting, I could see people, who appeared to be employees, standing around, telling war stories. I waited for another 10 minutes. I finally walked up to a service guy at the Lube shop. I asked him what a guy like me had to do to get some propane. He said it's a "First come, First serve" deal, and he had two others waiting for service, and would be with me in a little while.
