Once of my favorite spots in Vero on the ocean for brunch.always good service, good food and nice atmosphere.. love the ocean breeze!!

One of my favorite spots from breakfast and brunch. Dinner is usually fabulous as well but I took a picture of my breakfast this time!! Food is consistently good as well as great service. And the ocean breeze is always a plus!!

Beautiful view and great food! We sat outside on their spacious patio, overlooking the waves. It was a (rare) cool day in Fl, so the weather was perfect to sit outside. We got an assortment of mimosas to start, which all looked and tasted great. We then had the coconut French toast and chicken & waffles for our brunch dishes. The coconut French toast was fantastic. The French toast itself was light and fluffy, with some chunks of pineapple, caramelized banana and a hefty dose of coconut flakes. The caramel sauce was quite tasty - kinda wished they gad provided more on the side instead of regular syrup. The fried chicken was really good - just the right amount of spice, crispy, moist on the inside. The only down note was the waffle itself, which was only ok. Between the view and the view, this was a great choice!

We dined at cobalt about a month ago or so for a special birthday dinner. We were staying at the Kimpton and made a reservation to come downstairs. We opted to sit outside by the water, which was absolutely amazing. It was a beautiful and peaceful night that wind was blowing, and the tables each had a little light on them, so you can see the menu and dine under some light. We started off with a bottle of wine, which the Server brought to the table and appropriately chilled next to us. For appetizers, We had some calamari and a lobster bisque soup. The lobster bisque was delicious! For the entrées we had the steak and the whitefish the steak was cooked perfectly to what I requested, and was so tender and juicy as was the fish. For dessert we ended with the crème brûlée which just cooked perfectly. I would love to return to Cobalt once again and have a nice amazing dinner by the sea. Service was on point our server checked in with us multiple times, and always insured we had what we needed. Highly recommended coming to Diana at Cobal and staying at the Kimpton Vero Beach!

What a great experience we had at Cobalt. We ate outside and had the most beautiful views with a great sunset. We all had steaks or short ribs and everything was cooked to perfection. Excellent sides, whipped potatoes, asparagus and broccolini. Fresh and delicious oysters and cocktails to start. Celebrating a birthday and the birthday girl was brought a delicious key lime pie. The icing on the meal was our server Jonathan. He was friendly, accommodating, informative and just made our experience so much more enjoyable. Ask for him next time you go.

Overpriced, excellent location, unenthusiastic waiter! We just left there for our 23rd anniversary dinner. Started with a couple drinks at the bar. Bar tenders were not that friendly. They looked bored and didn't engage in any conversation. The hostesses were a bit disorganized when we got to the stand. They got us a table on the patio. Food Service was good, but waiter was not so enthusiastic. By now i'm getting the impression no-one has a personality here.. I dunno why maybe because they all had to work July 4th. Anyway, food was well presented. We started with fried green tomatoes for $28. Then i had the skirt steak, which was excellent and my husband had the short ribs. We had fries and mac and cheese as a side. We had a draft beer, martini and a glass of house red wine and the bill with tip was $230. Glad we finally tried this place but won't be back in such a hurry, way overpriced and staff not so friendly. But maybe because they cater to the rich people of the island that's the protocol!

This is one of our all time favorite restaurants. The service is great, the ambience of eating right on the water is amazing, and the food is spectacular! This was our second time here after an initial visit last year and we loved it even more the second time. They have an incredible menu with tons of options, and lots of wonderful side dishes that make for great appetizers as well. Our favorites were the carrots (must try!) and crispy cider Brussels sprouts. The burrata was amazing as well. The chicken dish is delicious and has so many great flavors/spices. My husband did the swordfish and loved it. Overall, another fantastic meal. We will definitely be back again and again!

We arrived around 1:00 PM and happened to be the first people there, which was nice. The indoor ambiance is very casual. It's not really a place for large groups or gatherings, but it's great for a small group looking to grab a drink. Now for the service. Our server, who was also the bartender and chef, was incredibly accommodating, quick, and provided AMAZING service given the circumstances, so kudos to her. That said, she was the only person working in the entire establishment that day. While it was manageable when it was just our party, once more guests started coming in it was clearly overwhelming. She ultimately had to close the kitchen, which was understandable, but it happened before everyone in our group was able to order food. That left us in an awkward situation where we had to leave and go elsewhere so the rest of our party could eat. We still had a great time and enjoyed our drinks, and this is absolutely not a reflection on the server at all. This falls on management or ownership. Staffing only one employee the day after Christmas is something that really needs to be reevaluated. I genuinely felt bad for her.

She lined up six different recommendations and every single one stood on its own. No filler pours, no "this one grows on you" nonsense. Vibe: About one block from the beach, this place is hidden on the main road. Nice and cozy, there was still plenty of seating and for our group. Locals and regulars kept stopping by to speak with the owner and check out the wines available (or say hello to her pup). You can tell this is definitely a great place to kick back and relax with a good glass of wine. Wine: There was a very good selection of wines available. Reds, whites, rose, and even a few beers, there was something for everyone. My wife and I had a glass of white wine from New Zealand. The wine was perfect. Service: We met Dana the owner and were extremely well taken care of! She was knowledgeable with the wines and extremely happy to with anyone who walked in. Overall this place was perfect for a quick glass of wine off of the beach or a laid back hangout with locals. I would HIGHLY recommend everyone give this place a try!
