Avrio Surfaces - During installation of my car-sized island

Avrio Surfaces

I had a good beginning with Avrio and several of their employees rescued them from a one star…read morereview! I had a remanant made into counteer for my bathroom. As scheduled, plumber came and removed old plumbing. Several hours later (with no communication when they were coming) the counte guy came and found that the sinks I had ordered from them were not on the truck. He spent about 15 minutes and in that time I called Carly who was my sales contact there, and she said that the sinks had not arrived and apparently Justine who was the project manager didn't do her job and checked to see all was in order for the next day, or rescheduled my job when I spoke to her the day before to find out arrival time. Very sloppy. Carly was gracious and explained everything and it wasn't her fault but she understood customer service! What saved the day is one of their employees went and picked up the sinks, and brought them from south Seattle to Shoreline. The installer, Daniel, stayed during that time and installed the counters with sinks. By now it is about 5:30 or later. The plumber who had been told by myself and Carly that he didn't need to come because of the snafu came from home to install the sinks and wasn't done until 8:30 pm that night (Friday night at that!). Val, and Daniel were wonderful but really shouldn't have had to shoulder the brunt of this late work because somebody else didn't do her job. I may go to them again for kitchen counters but will be wary.... 11/3/20- Update- I was contacted by the owner and he was a good listener about the issue, and I felt he really heard me. I will update this review to a 4 star based on his effort as I appreciate owners that really care.

Unfortunately this company is not only very misleading but extremely incompetent. Rachel is their…read morepoint of contact and you have to be careful because she will tell you they can do something without actually verifying. Also poor communication. The owner Sergiu is also very flaky and once they get your money, will go mia. They mentioned they could resurface our granite countertops and when they sent their crew there, the countertops still looked bad and the crew said they're not able to do such a thing. Rachel acknowledged the mixup and her mistake but stated they would not give us our money back even though that was not the intended job we hired them for. Same for Sergiu, no communication. I would look elsewhere since they will tell you what you want to hear to get a job.

Bryan's Countertop & Cabinet - Excellent time working with Bryan and his crew. Very responsive and helpful and efficient.

Bryan's Countertop & Cabinet

After shopping around for months for new cabinets for our kitchen, we ended up going with used. We…read moreknew going into it that there were 2-3 cabinets we'd be missing for our configuration but were going to order those separately. Evergreen Granite & Cabinets was one of the shops we had visited and received quotes from during the initial shopping around phase - their price came in as one of the lowest, and their customer service in getting the quote and talking about our kitchen was wonderful even though we didn't end up ordering a full set of cabs from them. So when it came time to order the extra 2-3 cabinets we needed, it was a no-brainer that we went straight to Evergreen. Brian answered my phone call and he had me come down to the showroom with an extra door and drawer from my set, so we could try to match it up. Immediately upon coming in he could tell that he didn't have my style of cabinets. He asked me questions to try to determine who might have provided the cabinets, and we settled on a couple possible options. He said he knew the other cabinet shop owners and proceeded to visit their websites to look at cabinets they offered and then he called around to investigate further. Brian told me he'd look into it further and could even come by our house to look and measure. Sure enough last night he came by and talked with us about the cabinets. He gave us a couple of options and then said he would take our door sample downtown this week and visit a couple of shops, in hopes of finding someone who still carries this line! Brian has been amazing so far, and we haven't even ordered from him yet! If he finds the cabinets, we will be so thrilled. We have plans to have him do our granite work once the cabinets are all in place, and we'll definitely be considering him for future work! I'm looking forward to posting another rave review after this is all through!

They were a pleasure working with from selecting the stone in the office, measuring our kitchen, to installing. We had a sort of non-standard window shelf that we weren't sure how it would turn out, but they gave us a few options (with drawings, measurements, and schematics so we could see in detail) for the raised bay window. Installation was quick and easy. We're very happy we went with Integrity.

Overall, I'm really happy with my quartz countertops from Integrity Stonework. The quartz looks…read moregreat, it was cut well to the shape of my kitchen, and the seam between 2 countertop pieces is practically invisible. The process from enquiring to ordering was very straightforward and easy to engage with. I was able to go and view the quartz prior to them cutting it to shape. The only road bump we hit was with installation. For the most part it was a good installation job, but it turned out that one of my cabinets was a bit higher than the others, which wasn't visible with the old counters. The installation team pointed out to me that they had to put an additional piece of wood under the counter in that location, but they didn't point out that it then made that counter higher than the others, and I didn't see that when they showed me. I only noticed the height difference after the installers left. My feedback is that I would have liked the installers to have been more explicit about this height difference before they glued the quartz down. I was relying on Integrity Stonework to be the experts for this installation, so trusted that they would point items like this out. After the installation, I had to pay an additional company to come in and remove the countertop to adjust the cabinet before gluing the quartz down again as Integrity Stonework did not offer to come and fix it, despite my request to them to make good on this. To be fair, the installation team did point out a different issue with countertop leveling in a different part of the kitchen prior to gluing items down. I think the height differential was just an unfortunate hiccup as part of this journey, so be thorough and ask to check the countertops prior to anything being glued down!
