Both her simple tweaks to the set up of our furniture plus the look-book she emailed us later were absolutely fantastic. I love that she gave me ideas for further improvement as the funds come available. Our daughter especially loves the set up of her room and wanted me to say it is "Pretty! Nice! Fun!" Initially we were…read moregetting ridiculous quotes from other contractors/ architects for our kitchen remodel which included the removal of two walls, gutting the existing kitchen, installing a new attic access hatch, modifying an exterior window, installation of new cabinets and countertops. Brian walked us through different pricing options and worked patiently with us to choose the best one. The field team mobilized quickly and were very friendly and easy to work with. There was a slight miscommunication during the project, but Brian worked through the issue and resolved it quickly and we were happy with how it all turned out. John and Brian were more than willing to have conversations on how to resolve some conflicts given that our house is over 100 years old and wasn't the easiest to work with! C3 was very easy to get in touch with throughout the entire process C3 exceeded our timeline expectations and continually hit milestones throughout construction. We ended up removing the cabinet and countertop installation from C3's scope, as the manufacture could warranty them if they installed. There was however a delay with the countertop install, so we had to ask C3 to come back at a later date. We were nervous that our project would get pushed back after the countertops were installed, but Brian and John were able to work with our schedule shifts and came back quickly to finish the job. After C3 demobilized from the jobsite, we had a few painting touchups and they quickly came out to fix and repair. I found Gwenn on an internet search. I interviewed a few other designers but hired Gwen after her receiving her detailed follow-up email from the initial visit. In that email she clearly articulated a vision for how my house should be furnished and accessorized. I was sold: "Based on what I gathered from you and your home, I imagine the design of your space would fall somewhere in the realm of warm contemporary, comfy, understated but a touch swanky, masculine, PNW natural / rustic. Neutral and subdued colors, varied natural textures, layered and homey, soulful. Furnished with timeless and quality elements that could work in future homes too." Gwen has executed on the vision perfectly all the while taking my feedback and taste into consideration. Gwen selected furniture, carpets, lighting, art, plants, and décor for my office, living room, bonus room, master bedroom, kitchen, outdoor patio, and hallways. She helped me accessorize my kitchen with all new cookware, knives, silverware, gadgets, etc. Saying that Gwen selected all of these items does not do justice to her work. The pieces selected were of the highest quality. Quality observable to the eye and to the touch. Most the pieces selected are themselves a work of art that give me joy just to look at daily. Some of the pieces were custom made to be the perfect fit for the space. Gwen found the craftspeople and helped design these custom pieces. Gwen was a consummate professional throughout the entire process. She did all the coordination of ordering and deliveries. Gwen found electricians to install the lighting and spent all day here making sure that a custom light fixture was installed. Her punctuality is something that I must comment on because when she told me that she would be at my house at a certain time I could set my watch to her arrival. I sincerely appreciated this punctuality because I believe it speaks volumes to how she cares about her clients and her craft. All of this work and sourcing was during COVID shutdowns when lead times on furniture exploded which made the project more difficult. All of the accounting and billing was online and easily accessible. In summary, Gwen designed the spaces in my home in a way that bring a smile to my face ever day. She did all of the work and minimized the amount of effort needed by me. I couldn't be happier with the result.

Very boring bland staging. But the most important thing is not following our condo rules. We were very clear about making sure to keep the garage door shut if unattended because of the neighborhood. I went down three times today and that man-door was open, propped open with bungee cords, etc. after I'd shut it three different times for safety concerns. This garage sits in the alley where vagrants hang. This company did the same thing when they set up and we warned them over and over again. Sally, This was done on Eastlake Avenue. I live in the condo building and was asked for my opinion on the staging. I was aghast. Also, I was around today when it was being done and taken down.

Before, my husband and I were in transition going from 2 separate homes to 1, and life was messy and unmanageable...and our home reflected that. We had double or triple of things which were randomly placed. It was so overwhelming that it was a huge source of stress and most likely put a strain on our relationship. What happened? We hired Sherri not knowing how brilliant she was. Her personality is warm,compassionate, and totally non-judgemental. This is so important because messiness can come with shame. She was so supportive in OUR vision of our home, and taught us the skills, tools, and systems needed to organize. I also want to note she genuinely wanted to get to know us as a whole person, not just getting things organized. Now, yes, things can get easily get "messy" but we know exactly where things go and cleaning is quick and easy. No more stress anymore. Things in our home have a system tailored to our lifestyle. This is way overdue, but clearly a hint into why I needed to have someone like Christy come into my…read morelife! Christy was more than a de-clutter expert, she's therapy! I can give you every reason / excuse as to why I hadn't been able to get my act together, but you already know. Christy was able to approach my situation in a way that was caring and fun. She wasn't just trying to help me "get rid" of stuff, but really had me look into why I felt the need to have X in the first place. We'd talk it through, come up with a solution, and act on it. Super cathartic. She'd give me realistic "homework" to do until next time, and of course, I'd make excuse why it wasn't done. No judgement! I looked forward to seeing her each time. Here's the thing. Would my life be better if she lived in my home and did it for me? Sure! And she can " just do it" for the client. But for me, her methods have bled over into every aspect of my life. She "taught" me how to take these methods into work, into a way of thinking when approaching just about everything. And time flies when you are with her. Her personality and optimism is contagious! And she can shift focus at a moment's notice. Don't want to tackle de-cluttering closet today? Really need assistance in digital filing ( organizing that crazy computer, bills, etc)?
