He found the beers to be lovely and he enjoyed each one for the flavor that it offered. I was thrilled to find they also had wine and my riesling was chilled and very good. We really enjoyed our time there. Mr. B loved the Chestnut ale and bought a six pack. He enjoyed a few in the evening while we were at the hotel, and he carefully packed the other four to bring home.

The other large table sat empty even after we left. It arrived so, so fast I would guess that a lot of it was pre prepared and just heated up as multiple plates were brought out less than 10 minutes of ordering. Also most of the appetizers and salad arrived last so they seemingly did not know or care to course appropriately. We also ended up stacking dishes at the end of the table as they were not removed- though to be fair, they appeared to be woefully understaffed . Food had some hits and some misses .The meat eaters loved the chicken, the shishito peppers were excellent, , watermelon salad was good, potatoes croquettes were a shadow of their former selves and needed more flavor , mussels were okay and the Creme brûlée was gritty! No biggee. When we realize it is, we told them we didn't want sweetened iced tea and didn't touch it, but then our server gave awkward attitude when we asked (very politely) to have it removed from the bill. Is that not common sense? We asked for a box and after nearly 10 minutes went to check what happened...our server forgot. Maybe she didn't care to put in any effort because of the mandatory 20 percent tip charge for parties over 6 ppl. This would be fine if the service was near acceptable, or even if the service existed at all after dropping off our food. This place is a waste time, money, and your opportunity to try the businesses that actually deserve your patronage.

Our server was absolutely amazing, so warm, attentive, and lovely throughout the evening. The food was truly exceptional. I had been eyeing the halibut, and it did not disappoint.
