Poor customer service. Beware if you look young they will ask you to wait outside of the store. Better buy anywhere else.

Awesome selection with extremely friendly and helpful staff!…read more For a small store, they sure have a number of options. When we walked in, we were immediately helped. They showed us the "Beer Cave" in the back, which has cold beer organized by where the beer is from and there is a whole wall of beers from Vancouver, Whistler and the surrounding areas. They asked what we normally drink and pointed us to some of their favorites. There's free parking right outside the store.

We were supposed to be in and out and then I got upset because he didn't wanna listen about my son. I tried to go back the next day with clothes on, and he literally looked me in the eyes and said that he chose not to serve me again because it was his job at the time. The man is an asshole, and he's a dominator. No woman should ever go to this place let alone a man that respects a woman. If I had shoes off one night. That's fine but I was with my son who was autistic, and I tried to tell them that. I tried to go and the next day properly closed and apologize formally, and he still looked me in the eyes and said well it's my choice to serve you or not and I'm not gonna serve you. Fuck this guy and fuck this place. If they keep this guy on highier, it's only to take your money. I don't listen to the Man. He's extremely disrespectful. He will make every excuse. If you look back at all of the reviews, there's a lot about him. He's not OK. I've been coming to Worcester for over 20 years. He is not a kind man.

At the end of October when I went, they're only open Friday and Saturday afternoons. Our experience there was super chill. We rang the door and someone let us in. I forgot his name, but he was one of the brothers behind the operation. He then introduced us to their liquors and we picked which ones we wanted to try. We tried a variety of liquors, including their vodka, ginger and honey, coffee, scotch, apple brandy, and kartoffelschnaps. Our favorite was the vodka, as it's one of the smoothest vodka's I've ever tried. The coffee liquor was also very good if you're a coffee drinker, but I personally am not a huge fan of the coffee taste. We bought a bottle of the vodka, scotch, and ginger and honey liquor away with us. Prices were reasonable. For example, a 750 ml bottle of vodka was $35. You can also take a couple steps into their distillery space. We went in to take a look and also was given a high level introduction to their distilling process.

They've got the international awards to prove it. 2010 Double Gold and Spirit of the Year in the recent World Spirit Awards. The distillery tour is well worth the $6 as you get a personal view of where all the potato magic happens. Tyler and Lorien are gracious hosts and are full of boozy knowledge. Oh, and of course there's a healthy sized tasting post-tour at the bar with your very own Schramm's glass. The word on the Pemberton street is that Tyler is concocting a small batch of Organic Single Malt Whisky this summer. But unfortunately, we will have to wait a few more years to sample this barrel of local gold. Damn you Oak Casks!

I already was planning on driving up north to Squamish so I knew I wanted to stop here since I remember getting a really good scone here a few years back. I made sure to download the offline Google map before heading out because I know service is spotty in the area. As the name states the place is a combined general (convenience) story and cafe. It has a parking lot right at front so parking is easy. I went with a caramel macchiato & the only scone that was left which was cheese scone. I'm pretty sure the place gets limited fresh backed goods and all the good ones sell out earlier in the morning. It was afternoon so pickings were limited & sadly my scone was a little stale. Luckily the caramel macchiato made up for it. It was a really good balance of balanced sweetness from the caramel & what tasted like med/dark toast coffee. Nice, hot & flavorful on a cold day. It was even more enjoyable because the counter top/bar seating faces the water outside. Aside from the usual cafe, they also sell local beer which you can even enjoy outside if you so please. The general store part contains many of usual goods you'd usually find. I don't have a photo but they had this spicy ketchup chip that was very good. Oh & if you do make this stop (& you should) be sure to check out the nearby "waterfall." It's to your right as you exit.the store, just up the little hill. It's worth the short walk. I plan to go to Whistler the next time I'm in Vancouver and I also plan to stop here once again. Cheers!
