Fast forward to Mother's Day morning, and that was all I wanted, Wine and Cheese. We walked over from our hotel and were lucky to get the only table inside for two. They have a small patio and all the tables were full and it was pretty breezy and chilly so we were happy to have a table inside. The staff was fantastic. One woman came over immediately giving us our menu's and she was so fun to talk to. We decided on our order after a recommendation from the staff. We ordered our wine, explored the little shop, tasted a few cheeses and then it was time for our lunch, Fondue with a board of dipping items. The Swiss fondue is Emmenthaler cheese and Gruyere, we added a side of truffle oil which we used lightly as it can be strong. The board of dipping items included cornichons, tiny white onions, bread, sliced apples and small tender pieces of potato. It was also served with a beautiful side salad for us to share. This was truly was one of our favorite stops and meals while in Whistler. Everything was amazing. The fondue sat over a heater on our table, was not, bubbly and perfectly creamy and melted. The snacks to dip all paired perfectly with the fondue and were fresh and flavorful. The salad too was fresh, crispy and a nice acidic break from the heaviness of the fondue. The wine selection was nice and both of our glasses paired perfectly with the cheese. We bought little chunks of two of our favorite cheese we tasted to take back to our room and enjoy before going to dinner. Again, great cheese shop, deli and wine. They do make sandwiches, you can stop in and pick up items for a picnic or dine in. This was a great find.

We'd never…read morebeen to Whistler before and figured this would be a good way to get oriented while trying a bunch of restaurants at once - we were right. Christine did a great job of combining local history with culinary info. The restaurants were selected well and provided some delicious food - a lot of it too - this is a full meal +, so don't worry about going away hungry. My vegetarian spouse had plenty of options, too. The wine sabering demo was a highlight and Christine did some trivia and games that kept us all engaged. Would definitely recommend!

We paid $56 per person to enter this attraction which included a shuttle ride at no extra charge…read more the whole experience took us around an hour to complete, going at a moderate pace and fully completing each station along the walk. the visuals and audio were amazing, props to the designers on that. It was beautiful to witness and the surround sound truly made you immersed in the experience. However, where this fell flat for us was the story. There is a new trend in family friendly media of assuming the child needs a dumbed down story, therefore doing lots of telling not showing. The whole premise of the story is to figure out what happened to the grandfather and granddaughter, but it essentially tells you in the beginning leaving no room for mystery. At our showing at 8:30PM there was one young kid there, the first part of the forest had a very creepy ambiance and completely set the kid off wailing. His poor parents had to practically run through the whole experience until they got to a quieter area near the end. With the experience either being far too late (earliest time slot is 8PM) or just too loud and spooky for most young kids; and with a story that assumes the audience is stupid, it truly begs the question, who is this story for? Even with all that, I do think it is a worthwhile experience. Me and my friend really enjoyed ourselves and the propane firepits back at base camp were a lovely addition to our night. The audio and visuals truly save this attraction and i commend the visual effects and audio engineer teams who worked on this project.
