I went back today after a long hiatus to just check again and see if things were any better since…read morethe initial opening. I was blown away for starters by the customer service from multiple employees. One found me a shoe in a size that wasn't even on the floor, another brought a different size to the dressing room, and a third suggested a better way to complete my transaction! Now keep in mind the stuff here is brand name and higher end than, say, a Marshalls, but I still found a ton of good deals. I saw higher end brands like Tory Burch, Birkenstock, Democracy, and more. I got a $200 free people dress for $35! It's now definitely worth checking out and could be dangerous... I got so much stuff!

Staff was made to stand at the entrance to welcome the customers super sweet. So for people who have been to NR it's definitely a couple of notches above TJ Max but the model is similar. So there is section for male, female, kids clothing and shoes. They also have a home section along with jewelry, make up, perfume, sunglasses and handbags. Lots for everyone. This particular one has lots of parking and very centrally located. Prices are fair to the brands they offer. Oh I forgot they also have some snacks right near the check out. I am totally missing the Western Hills store because I could visit it as often as I liked. This…read morelocation is quite a drive so it moderates my binge shopping for cheap clothes addiction! I love Old Navy for cheap casual clothes, great sales, and great coupons. I can't get many work clothes here, but almost all my casual weekend wear is from here, especially my jeans. I just went out this weekend and bough 5 pairs! of Old Navy jeans. I love the variety of styles and washes. There is something for everyone! I love that I can buy talls for when I wear heels and regulars for flats. (They have shorts too.) So many basic casual tops! I love their long sleeved cotton t-shirts. They last for several years and you can often buy them for $5-10. The staff at this location is ridiculously nice- Even when I try on 20 items in the dressing room and only buy 2 and they have to put all of the other back on the rack. They now ask your name as you go into the dressing room and write in on the outside of the door so they can call you by name when asking if you need anything. Nice touch! Hint to anyone with an Old Navy card- Get 10%of your total bill on Tuesdays!

All staff were wearing masks. This is definitely a plus. The store is a bit crowded. I don't mean people. The racks are close together and just moving throughout the store I knocked things off the rack at least once especially by the work out/athletic section. I was trying to find a pair of leggings and all the sizes and styles were mixed. I couldn't find what I was looking for. During my leggings search, I was approached by an employee about a rewards program. I don't shop at Old Navy very often, so I took a pass. As I navigated further into the store, the more crowded it became. By the clearance section, it was impossible to look through the racks as everything was packed and hard to move through the area. Plus, I docked a star because the entire back of the store smelled like pot. It was mostly empty of people, but a few. I thought it may have just been the clearance section, but as I moved towards the kids section then the men's side by the dressing rooms - the smell definitely lingered. I felt overwhelmed in this store. I left in a hurry without making a purchase.

As far as Lane Bryant in general, there are some things I really do not like about quite a few of…read morethe clothing styles they produce. It seems that past a certain size, sometimes they styles are just bizarre in their coloring and look like a garish tent. You don't have to look silly just to get clothes in your size, really. That's what costs Lane Bryant a star, really. The staff at this store are outstanding. Incredibly helpful, and will bend over backwards to help you in any way they can. They will measure you for a bra, you don't have to worry about being treated like a thief when you go the changing rooms, and they are accommodating for the husbands/boyfriends (like me) that go with their significant other to participate in the shopping. One of the best things about this store is the larger selection of items compared to many of the other Lane Bryant stores.

Went in because the clip on my purse strap broke, and they presented me with a myriad of options. They are great problem solvers! The purse strap that I liked best didn't clip to my purse properly, and they had a solution for that too! Even provided options I wouldn't have thought of myself. With any purchase, you can customize a leather Coach tag, and for $8, it was was super fun and I highly recommend it. Was really cool to see employees from different backgrounds and age groups! So often this isn't the case, but these different perspectives provide a more enriching experience. It's nice to know that real, quality customer service is alive and well still. Good job, Coach!

The woman that was helping me did not know what a bralette was when I asked to see one. I had to show her a picture in the Soma catalog. The catalog also indicated there was a 15% sale off your entire purchase but she said that didn't apply to individual sales but later told me that I was eligible. In an effort to sell me more than one bra she made it sound like this was going to be the only bra I would wear and would need more even though we had a conversation about the number of Soma bras I had previously purchased. The last objectionable thing she did was bash their main competitor (Viictoria's Secret), saying how inferior their bras are. I really dislike salespeople that have to resort to competitor bashing to try and make a sale. All-in-all, Soma still remains the place I prefer to buy my bras, but the sales staff at this location could be better.

If you are looking for something specific, the layout of the store makes it difficult. You have to be willing to dig. It's not color-coded, but most days it is separated by size. You know that feeling of when you walk into a department store and everything is laid out perfectly and even color-coded? It smells and looks so clean that you could just buy everything? Just know this is not that place. When you walk in the front door, it is stumbling upon a treasure hunt just waiting for a good purchase to be found. Prepare to dig! Some days, it seems really unclean. I'm not sure if it is because I have come after a huge rush, or that it is consistently unclean; however, most days it borders on not so clean. I have got some fantastic outfits from there at a good price. If you are looking for name brands and don't want to pay full price, this is a great store for you. If you do not like the treasure hunt of searching for what you have in mind, it may feel like you are looking for a needle in a haystack. Know that it is hit or miss. I walked out of there with a handful of items to some days, zero. To be honest, I go into the store with the intention of a treasure hunt, so I love it! Definitely hit or miss though.
