The woman behind the counter was knowledgeable about what I'd need for my project and made helpful suggestions along the way. Also, I noticed that the dye prices in store were cheaper than what you'd find on Amazon, which was nice. Ultimately, I ended up getting 3 8oz bottles of dye, resolene, and deglazer. I probably didn't need to get the deglazer, and should've just used acetone but it was only $5, if I remember correctly, so no harm in just getting and using the authentic stuff. I was happy with my purchase and recommend Tandy Leather for all of your future leather needs.

Plus, since my dog is young and still growing, they were able to add room to grow! The collar is beautiful and the buckle is so sturdy. And it came in the mail in about a week. I would highly recommend this place for leather dog collars, for big dogs or even if you just want something special for your little critters. Well, I didn't get any sandals, but 45 minutes later I happily walked out of there with sheepskin boots, a pair of alpaca socks, some knitted wool mittens, and a lot more knowledge about sheepskins, rug making, and how to choose sheepskin boots. I probably would've left with more if I hadn't been called away for something. Greta is really great - so thorough and helpful, but not in a "sales-pitchy" way. But that probably would have cost me a lot of money over the years. A specific pair of shoes brought me in and even though they didn't fit the way I liked I quickly found another pair. I ended up purchasing a nice pair of brown leather Nikes. The selection of shoes consists of skater and hip hop style sneakers from brands like Vans, Nike, and Adidas. They appear to carry limited edition styles from all the brands. Before I left the store I looked around at some of the clothing. There were t-shirts, hoodies, jogger pants, and jackets that followed in the same athleisure style as the shoes. There was even a small discount section in back where I found an awesome Alpha Industries flight jacket for half off. As soon as I tried it on I knew that I couldn't live without it. They carry both men's and women's merchandise, however, the selection for men is noticeably larger. The women's selection is similar to men's in both brands and styles. Unheardof also has it's own brand of clothing. I noticed that one section of the wall was covered in skateboards so I assume those were for sale as well. The store is clean with a hip boutique feel and lots of colors and open space that feels welcoming and makes it easy to shop. The employee that helped me was nice, helpful, and polite. I had a great experience and will definitely be back.
