I used to love coach until I realized that being a vegetarian and using leather products seemed hypocritical of me so it's been almost more than 15yrs that I used anything leather made. This doesn't keep me away from gifting it to my friends who are huge coach fans. And the tipping point is that I found great wallets and purses in varied colors on a huge 50% discount. I like coming here in the spring to get the deals on their fall line (which is generally the least trendy). Got a great french purse that I've coveted- under $100 all told. I'm not a brand whore by any means. I didn't start investing in coach until about two years ago and it was at this location. I only ever buy stuff when I feel like it's affordable for ME. I love that there are outlet stores around because there's no way I'd pay full price for any of their stuff. I have yet to spend over $150 on anything there and I love all my bags! I don't use purses very often, so the amount spent is just right. I don't care much for their service--I don't usuallky acknowledge them, nor do they acknowledge me. That's what you get when you get a chubby chick walking in there with no purse and just a keychain lanyard hanging out of her pocket. Whatever, I don't care. They probably never think I'm going to buy anything and sometimes I'll end up walking out of there not being help at all. But honestly? If you've ever owned anything from Coach, you know they make a quality product. I've had one of their purses for ten years and the thing still looks brand new despite it being made from their signature cloth verses a totally leather purse. With that being said, I was pretty skeptical about getting another purse since I didn't "need" it, but upon entering the store, I was presented with a 50% off flyer. Common sense went out the window and now I had to find myself a deal since that discount convinced me to do a few laps to see what they had to offer. I'm pretty sure every employee in the building introduced themselves and let me know that if I needed any assistance with anything, to just give them a heads up and they'll help. I've been in other stores where it's considered a miracle if the staff is warm / friendly while extending any sort of effort when talking to customer on the sales floor. So, it was nice to have that many folks paying attention that I'm shopping, but not hovering in my bubble space. There was a specific item I was looking for (a wallet), one gal searched in the back while another looked through all the various storage drawers throughout the sales floor. Unfortunately, they didn't have it, but I was very appreciative of the effort they had extended to help me out. After everything, I ended up finding a medium wallet that offers a good amount of space and that zips shut. True to form, awesome stitch work and you can feel the quality of the leather. Once the discount was applied, it came to about $70 after taxes which is OK with me since I know I'm getting my monies worth. My Grandmothers Coach wallet is just shy of thirty years old and is still holding strong. So, yeah. Coach is worth every penny in terms of longevity. I'm officially a fan! Not only did I buy my first Coach purse, but I got a good deal on it! I mean great deal! I paid only a little over $100 including tax. I saved over $200 on this luxury purchase. The store was having a 50% additional discount off of their clearance items and that's where I found this purse. They also had 20% additional discounts on their other items. Basically everything in the store had additional discounts off of the outlet prices. Wow, who knew purse shopping is so satisfying?!?! They may be alot more money then walmart or target purses but will last forever if you take care of them...... You cannot go wrong with a Coach Outlet. There's tons of great buys and if you search for coupons on the internet, you can find printable coupons for an additional 20% off items at the Coach Outlets. This one is a decent size. They have shoes, scarves, clutches, coats, belts, business items, jewelry, perfume, etc. There's usually a long line but it's so worth the savings. I find parking behind this store every time I shop the outlets. If they a particular color for an item isn't displayed, be sure to ask a CSR. They'll go back and look for you. I love Coach. when to avoid this place: weekends, holidays, black friday. when to go: weekdays, early mornings. so obviously, many people frequent this coach outlet. as everyone knows, its addicting. and i'm sure there's a following of people who have become "anti-coach". the truth is: everyone has at least one handbag/accessory from here; their prices at the outlets are much more reasonable; if you're lucky then you get the newer styles at a lower price; staff is very friendly and professional; most people will find their items either functional or fashionable. i'd say this is one of the bigger and better coach outlets compared to napa and vacaville. read more

After debiting your credit card, they will make all kind of excuses...cancel and reissue your credit card if you fell a victim for them, and file a dispute immediately even if they told you that they will refund your money. read more

Very bad service! Maybe it was the way I was dressed, but it shouldn't matter; I have money. How do expect me to dress? I just came back from Disneyland on my way home, wanted to make a quick stop to see what's in stock. Anyways, I was the one w/the shorts, tank, and backpack. Walked in, wasn't greeted the typical "Hi, welcome to Coach!". That's fine, it didn't bother me until my shopping experience was done. However, all the other ladies behind me were dressed a bit nicer. While I was waiting in line, I noticed the supervisor telling one of the employees to try to sell more items to the lady that was dressed a bit nicer. They didn't offer me that same service. My turn to pay, I noticed this time, they didn't wrap my purchase in tissue paper. When she was done ringing me up, she just tossed the bag over the counter; usually they walk it over to you as you're leaving. All the other ladies around me got their purchases wrapped in tissue paper & walked to them out the door. Horrible coach service ever! This coach store is great for deals but the customer service is horrendous I purchased a small wallet and asked to purchase a gift card. The cashier didn't know how to do a gift card and the person who helped her was trying to have me swipe it like it had money and then proceeded to tell me there's no money on it like I'm an idiot. Yes there's no money on it because I wanted to purchase it not use it! It took four different people to help me and when I told them I was in a rush they didn't care. If I wasn't getting this stuff for my aunt for Christmas I would have walked out immediately. I am extremely pleased with this store. Great customer service and discounted products. I will never buy a regular priced Coach purse from The Coach store or Macy's in Valley fair ever again. I bought my purse, which was originally $358 for $95 . One must know that this store gets really packed, so if you do not like a crowded store try to either go during the week or when the store first opens at 10 am on the weekend. For the die hard coach fan you can also find earlier discontinued items at this store as well. read more

I came here on a Tuesday to buy my girlfriend a new purse. It wasn't as crowded so that was great. I think the service here could have been more helpful. I give this store 4 stars because they didn't have the bag I was looking for. I know it's an outlet and that they are limited on things, but I wanted that bag for my Mom. I do live in Gilroy about 10 miles away from all the outlet madness, so it's very convenient for me to go there..Parking is not that great, so go on a weekday when its much lighter....customer service A+ all the way. So there are some great deals to be had here, but some I question. The other day we were at the outlet and I looked at the "msrp" on some of the bags and compared them to the prices at the regular Coach store. The bags at the outlet seem to have a higher "msrp" as they do in the regular store. I know that they were not exactly the same but most products at Coach are close to the same product and price. Just something to watch out for. The clearance section is the best place to shop. read more

Ok I have to give this store 5 stars for the awesome selection they always seem to have. Also, they have amazing prices, My sister and I have more than once walked out of here with bags for under 100 dollars or less. They usually always have some sale on top of their already amazing sales, like an additional 20% off the whole store, which is already discounted anywhere from 20-60% and sometimes more. They even carry their newer C's collection along with the metallic collection. The service here is also great, for a store that is so busy, you wouldn't expect for the sales people to really care whether or not you need help and rather focus on cashiering, but they have a good mix of both. The employees are very helpful and willing to help you get gift ideas, etcc... Be aware though, on almost any given day there is a line at this store, but they tend to be pretty quick. Before you read this review, I will let you know that I am an absolutely huge Coach fan. I have many of their handbags, wallets and accessories and have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars at this store. However, after my experience today at the Coach Outlet in Gilroy, I sadly doubt that I will ever return or buy Coach products again. I went to the outlet this evening to return a black, medium sized all-leather handbag that I purchased about two weeks prior. I had never used the purse (actually never even took it out of the bag), and ended up purchasing another handbag at another Coach store that I ended up liking much better. When I approached the cashier to make the return, she looked over the bag and promptly told me that this bag had already been used and was worn looking, and that they would not accept this as a return. She told me that the straps were worn and there was a hair inside and they would not give me my money back!! I was completely shocked and in disbelief, as I had never used the purse and the tags were even still on the front. Obviously if I was out and about using the purse, I would of had to remove the tag directly on the front buckle before going out in public. Because I had spent several hundred dollars on this purse, I was not going to leave without a fight. I asked for the cashier to speak with a manager. After talking in the corner with the manager and showing her the purse, the cashier returned. She looked at me directly in the eye, and told me "well, we are aware that you obviously have used this purse. However, we will return the purse this time as a courtesy, but please do not plan to ever attempt to do this again." What?!!! I was so appalled I didn't even know what to say. I asked her if they re-sell people's returned purchases in the store, and if perhaps this had been a pre-owned purse that someone returned before. She told me that when people return a purse, before it is put back out on the floor it goes through rigorous inspections to make sure it is in perfect condition before being restocked on the shelves. Well, obviously their "rigorous" inspections must be a complete piece of crap because this apparently "damaged" purse had to have been put on the shelf in this condition when I bought it in the first place because there was absolutely NO way that this purse was damaged while in my possession. I hadn't even touched it since the day I had bought it! I don't know if they treated me this way because I just had sweats and a t-shirt on today when I went in and they didn't think I had money, or that they just did not want to lose a sale. But regardless of the reasoning, this was completely unacceptable to me. I am afraid to purchase anything else at this store because I'm scared I will never be able to return it if I would change my mind. After this incident, I just want others to be warned about their poor customer service and return policy! I am so thankful that I eventually got my money back, but I definitely would not have gotten it back if I didn't really push for it. My advice to you: either take your money elsewhere, or if you feel you must buy a purse here, make ABSOLUTELY sure that you are going to keep it and not return it later...because you may very well lose your money!! read more

My kids got me the large womens backpack for Christmas a year ago and the inside zipper broke. I called Coach expecting a replacement or at least a repair and they offered neither. I can ship it myself and pay for repair but that's as far as they will stand behind their product. I can take it to my local shoe repair which would be quicker and most likely less expensive so why would I bother with shipping and being without a purse for that long? I just called the outlet store at (408) 846-8255 to see if it has a smaller size of Coach Heritage Stripe Tattersall Tote because someone just purchased a larger one there recently. The employee told me the tote is there, but would NOT tell me the approximate measurement. I tried to explain that I would not drive all the way to Gilroy only to find the smaller tote was not in stock. Her reply was that the store does not do measurements. I came thinking I want a new coach wallet, I currently have one and it's lasted me a long time, but it has scratches due to my nails clawing at it! I saw this adorable tiffany blue colored wallet with white trim and wanted it! it was on sale for $99.99, I went to the sales associate to see with the additional in store discount of 20% what my cost would be (yea, I could of done the math but they get paid to help), she said $79.99. I'm thinking this is a pretty good discount compare the original price tag of $129.99. So I get in line and I'm almost at the register when I start to feel guilt about buying this small wallet. I start thinking; this wallet will cost more than I'll put in it (broke early childhood educator), so I decided not to buy it =(. But nothing negative about the staff they were helpful in directing me prices, items, special sales and did not pressure me into buying anything. This is most defiantly my favorite outlet store in the world. . Its pretty pricey but you can find some real deals. Sometimes they are even 40- 50% off the original price. My fave associate is Karina she helps me out a lot. I dont know what I would do with out her. If I see something I like I always ask her if they have something that matches it. Terrible experience. I get it, Coach is not hurting for business. We had to wait in line outside, when there was only about 20 people inside (including employees) and no line at the registers. They are trying to make it look like there's some super deal worth waiting for to draw passerby's attention. I would not have waited if I didn't know exactly want I needed for a present. Will bypass this store in the future. There were seriously more employees inside than customers. I understand the need for a line if the store is packed but it was not. It was empty. read more
