Another trip to Gilroy Premium Outlet according to my wife and at the same time holding a Coach store coupon. I knew it was going to be the first store we are going into and it was going to be a test of patience with the crowds. After lunch, we tackled the crowds at this store - luckily there wasn't a line to get in this time. But it was like a after Thanksgiving day inside because there were so many people grabbing everything. Despite the crowds, we did get great customer service, when I asked the sales person to help my wife find a certain size of handbag. She was extremely helpful, and friendly, despite the the amount of people in the store. After picking out the bag, it was another test of patience at the check-out line. A very long check-out line. I still can not believe some people had several bags in their store carrier. When we got to the check stand, I was in relief. I am out of there until the next time! In the end, seeing my wife's smile with her coupon discounted handbag was worth the test of patience! Now we can walk the rest of the huge mall as a family-outing! read more

I felt so bad that I dragged my older sister and her twin 1 year olds to the outlets on Sunday. My sis lives in Gilroy and I rarely venture out to visit let alone shop here. I was craving a new wallet. I do appreciate leather craftsmanship so I thought I would take a peek. I own a ton of Coach shoes that I love. OMFG. No wonder I stopped carrying Coach purses in my early twenties!! It's like 572565982 women discovered Coach all in one day. The line was insane. Women, Kids, Dads all up in the store! I was dizzy! I found a cute white logo less leather hobo but time is money so I left it behind. I'd rather put that $120 towards my dream Balenciaga. I bought my first "Legacy" bag at age 19 back in the day so I'm truly over the Coach phase of my life. Been there done that. Felt bad I had to make the babies wait while I looked at all the "CLONE" bags. read more

You can find such GOOD deals here! The sales are best during the prime shopping season.. especially around the holidays. It was a madhouse in here. The line was snaking around the store. The purses were flying off the shelves... and there was this one purse I was on the fence about... there were at least 8 of them on the shelves right... I walked around the store to check out the rest of the products... didn't see anything else I liked and decided I did want that purse after all. So I go back to grab one... and THEY'RE ALL GONE! In a period of 3-5 minutes! So I was assed out, but 8 other lucky bastards SCORED.... so I guess that balances out the universe. Yeah, I have a weird way of thinking. So what? Moral of the story? If you see something you like, grab it and hold on to it for dear life. You can always filter your shopping purchases out in the line. read more

We decided to head up here last Sat. Traffic was miserable, and we were on the bike, which made it hot and miserable. I didn't know what to expect, but some friends had recommended it. It was a total zoo, and you actually had to wait in line to get to some items. After reading some reviews, I knew if I saw something I liked, (even if I wasn't sure) I better grab it or it could be gone. One of the purses I ended up getting, several women stopped and asked where I found it, and if I didn't want it, they did! What really impressed me was the service. That's right...I said service...at an outlet store... I honestly wasn't expecting any kind of customer service at all. It's an outlet store, and it's insanely busy. More than one employee offered to check prices for me, made suggestions, and even offered to put our (heavy) motorcycle jackets, behind the counter. We both really appreciated this, and it made it much easier to shop. Prices were fantastic! I really should stop telling everyone how much I paid for my bags...But, I love to share bargains! I got a wallet for $55, that was over $100 regularly. One bag was $220, I paid .......drum roll please.....$55!!!! I got another bag, that was a good deal, but I can't remember how much. They have seriously amazing deals, I'll never buy a Coach bag at regular price again! (Sorry Nordstrom!) My guy bought beautiful wallets for his groomsmen too! It's a little bit of a schlep (depending on where you live), although, I don't think it normally takes that long to get there. The ride back was much faster! Why pay full price? If you want a Coach bag, or just a quality leather bag, I can't recommend this place enough! Next time, we're going during the week.... read more

Every time I come here, I try to find something I like. I rarely see anything that was in the actual coach store/Macy's/Nordstrom's. A lot of things are odd colors or weird patterns. Plus the women here can be rude. They look at you like you're looking at the bag that they are meant to have. Excuse me? You can have it! I'm just checking it out and it's not the end of the world! It's just a purse lady. I think it's funny that women are holding 5-8 bags for dear life and they're getting a really good deal. The only good deals I see here are in the 50% off extra section. But then again the bags there are a little too funky for my taste. I guess I'm a girl who likes classic bags that will last and that it'll still be in style when I'm in my 70's. Coach isn't my thing and especially the outlet since the women who shop here can be rude. If you love coach, avoid this place on Sundays, the lines where ridiculously long and packed full of pushy women, read more

OK... so i stood in a line that was about half a block long just to get in. And once you are in.. its like madness... but you know overall, the staff were still friendly and helpful. The line to pay was long, but considerably fast. Oh did i mention, i went there the weekend before xmas... smart right? i went there with the intention to buy a wallet.. which i did, original price $208, i paid $70 for it. good deal i say. and since.. well i waited in line for 15 mins, seems like i should make it worth while to get more than just a wallet, so I got a cross body bag too. Original price $349, got it for $100. And there were not at all scratched up or wrinkled. They looked new, like they just came out of the factory. Im pretty happy with my purchases. read more

You would have thought they were giving the bags away, what, with the 50 person line I had to wait in to get into the store. And yes I did wait. Once I got in, it was pure madness. Like something you see in a really bad movie scene. Women pushing each other, grabbing bags of the racks, holding 9 purses, dropping them on the floor, and then fighting someone to pick it up. Thank goodness I was on a mission: get in, get the black purse I wanted as a laptop bag (tiny laptop) for work. I went in, pushed my way through the crowd (literally too) saw my purse, jumped on a shelf (had to climb it, no kidding) to get it, sprinted to the line, and 45 minutes later (of waiting in line), I walked out with my new purse. Was it worth it? All this to save $300 on a purse? YUP, now I can go to the BCBG outlet and buy some clothes to go with the purse with the money I saved. read more

Hehehe, wow this store has some bad reviews. Well maybe I'm giving this store a good review due to the fact that I got a 360$ giftcard as a present. MUWAHHAHAHAAHAHA. Sorry girls & guy, don't hate me because I'm not spending my own money. Jp jp =P I love ya all. Anyways to be honest this store is way more organized, cleaner, brighter & more tastefully decorated than the one at Valleyfair. I hate how the store if Valley fair is messy at times & crowded w/ annoying lil tweens & spoiled bratty teens telling their SO, parents or whoever to buy this or that for them. Ugh get out!! Well at least this store is filled w/ young adults & older adults. Yea I feel old going here but I don't feel irked and service is exceptional. Yea the lime green & pastel colors are kinda weird and seem out of style but whatever makes my gf happy, makes me happy hehe ^^V. So my gf found a nice white leather rectangular purse & another nice white rectangular wallet to match and even another nice white rectangle change purse to attach to the main purse. Yes as you can see when it comes to things like these I can't tell the difference or care less but as long as it makes her happy I'm happy. And boy was she happy cuz I got what I wanted later on at night =3....yea you know what I mean. I GOT TO HAVE AS MUCH DESSERT AS I WANTED AND CHOOSE WHAT RESTAURANT I WANTED TO EAT AT WHEEEE!!! Hehe I bet ya all dirty perverts were thinking something else. Well about quality the leather feels nice to touch and yea...... whatever like I know anything about leather goods and crap like that. But I can talk about pricing it alls very cheap in my opinion. I had about 100 bucks left on the card. 40$ bucks for change purse, 90$ for wallet, 124$ for purse. read more

Coach - The Coach Store - Outlet Stores Near Me - Gilroy, California

I don't care about the lines... the bags are at a HUGE discount! so I will line up for a discount of 30%! yes I will!! :)) There is a nice selection and plus you're at the outlets so there is so much to see...BONUS! read more

Drove yesterday from San Jose to specifically go to the outlets. Upon entering the store was greeted and asked if I needed help. Alicia was wonderful! Gave me suggestions on products I was looking for, let me browse, yet was available when I had any questions. It was old fashioned customer service, something I haven't experienced in a long time in a store. Her male coworker was helpful and friendly also, I didn't get his name. read more

Personnel were very pleasant and displays neat and tidy. However, returns policy is the worst I have ever experienced. The rating is solely for the unreasonable return policy I experienced. We received a Christmas gift this year which we did not want. The labeled merchandise was new, with tags and protective paper on zippers, etc. I was politely advised that Coach's policy is, without a receipt, take off 70% of price in the system, subtract $25.00, and provide a merchandise receipt (or credit toward current purchase) for the balance. So, as an example, a $500 item would first be reduced to $125, then subtract $25 for a total credit of only $100. I am used to other retailers who will give merchandise credit for the lowest price sold within the past 90 days, but Coach apparently pockets most of the money paid and can resell the merchandise at full retail a second time. I guess it is a big case of sour grapes, but that is my feeling and prerogative as a consumer. Actually, it will likely save me time and effort in the future. We host many overseas visitors throughout the year which we bring to factory malls like this (and some tend to buy up the store at factory mall stores). I now have an excuse to avoid the drive from the South Bay to Gilroy and I will refuse to visit the Gilroy outlets or anywhere I think there might be a Coach (Easy since they don't know where the stores are). It may save me money too. We may stop at Gilroy in the future, but only for the free Supercharger and In 'n Out. My spouse used to shop frequently at Coach and we have spent thousands, but unfortunately, she has moved to higher end brands. read more

Average. I say average because that's how they are. When you buy stuff from any coach location, you'd better follow all their "rules" or else you have committed a sin according to them. This especially true with the outlet like this one or the one in Milpitas. Like everyone and their mother have to have a coach bag or something. And If you want return anything. Good luck. It's like taking their baby from them. Like I returned a bag at their Milpitas location, it's been 4 months and I'm still waiting for my refund check. No wonder Michael Kors are taking over as the best every day bags for women. read more

Oh! I'm a kid in a candy store whenever I go to this store! I love it! The prices are great and the selection is really great! You have more to look at and choose from then the other coach stores I've been to. Also, from my experience the staff is awesome! Always willing to help and very courteous. read more

Maybe they do sell purses specifically for the Outlets that never see the light of day in their regular stores. But I also know that a purse my friend bought last season was available at the outlet the following season for nearly $100 less. So maybe it's half true and that some of the items they produce are specifically for the outlet stores. And maybe sometimes you really can find merchandise that was once sold at the regular store. Either way, all the purses I've bought at the outlets have lasted a very long time thus making me believe that they are pretty great quality products. Good looking purses, good looking leather/patent leather/cloth, well-made enough to take a lickin' and keep on tickin' (I'm tough on my stuff) ... then it's good enough for me. PS: I've never had bad customer service at this location or the Milpitas location. They always have had someone to greet me immediately as well as others that ask if I need any help. Always a pleasant experience! read more

This is one store in the Gilroy Premium Outlets that was smart for expanding. Located in center A, a center that typically gets little attention, Coach Factory Outlet seems to always have a line to pay or a line out the door. Coach has done an exceptional job creating a wonderful flow throughout the store while having associates present to supply any help when needed. Most associates do an excellent job greeting customers and informing them of current promotions in the store. This is one of the few stores that keep to its "outlet" name. Most styles found in the store are either last season or specifically made for the factory store. The plus side is that you can always find something that you have never seen in a regular Coach Store, on the negative, if you want it, you have to grab it and buy it then because the supply is not on hand as a regular store. Although the store may seem a bit pricey when initially looking at the tags, keep in mind that the discount that the bag has is applied additionally to the lowest marked price. I have found deals in this store that are unbelievable for a Coach Purse, being as little as $30.00. Downside to this store, taking star #5, is the lines. Coach does do a wonderful job creating flow as stated earlier; however, it is possible to be at this store for up to 2 hours after looking through the shelves and waiting in line, much longer than any other store in this outlet center. Overall this is the store to go to if you are personally looking for a Coach Purse/Accessory or are looking for a loved one. read more

Contrary to other reviews, I've actually never had any problems with the sales associates here. They have been friendly and helpful, though occasionally overbearing. Sales are decent, and during some random weekends and almost all holidays, the majority of the items are at least an additional 10% off. Their clearance corner is always a big hit, and I've seen some nice handbags in there. I love that the keychains are marked down--they make awesome gifts. Plus, their wallets are timeless. Some items are current (still featured on the website), while others are way past season. Weekends are frenetic--the wait line can take over half an hour, but that is precisely why you bring your significant other (oh yes, and for him to pay muahaha). While your sig o. waits in line, you can happily peruse items that you wish you could afford while you push yourself through the melee of customers buying Coach this and Coach that. They DO have plenty of staffers around during weekends, it's just that the store is bustling with women, elbow to elbow. Bummer though, that they've discontinued the men's trifold wallet with clearview. That was THE best item of the men's line, poor boyfriend. :( & I will divulge a shopping tip. You can park directly BEHIND the Coach store to avoid the craziness of the parking lot. There is nowhere else on this side of the outlets to shop at, save for maybe Nike (Mikasa has closed :[ ). read more

If you are a Coach fan (especially their logo stuff) this is your Mecca. Every time I come in here this place is a zoo. How many logo bags do these women need? I will admit to drinking their Kool-Aid once in a while. I like their leather stuff, and in a rare convergence of a good color, minimalist design, nice hardware, and 40% off, I end up with a new bag. read more

Went to the Coach Outlet today to get my first Coach handbag! I was sooooo excited! I treated myself since I have been working so hard at my new job so I deserved this trip! Upon entering the store, I was handed a 20% off coupon. Are you kidding me!??! I was giddy with delight! I arrived at the store possibly 20 minutes after it opened. It was already becoming chaotic. So, I made sure that anything I liked, I grabbed and held onto until I made my final selection. I purchased a handbag and a wallet. Salespeople were nice and helpful. The line was short so that was great! The clerk at the register was nice. When she told me my amount, I just about passed out! What a DEAL! Score! Hahaha! :) Love, love, love this store! My next visit will be for Coach sunglasses! Can't wait! :) read more

Still Pricey, but sometimes you can find some nice stuff. There are your occasional odd items, just like every other outlet store, but just keep trying and you might just get lucky. Insider tip: I was once told by an employee that their 20% off sale is the best sale they will ever have. They usually do that sale around major holidays. read more

One star for the customer service. Their products are nicely discounted, and I got some good deals on wallets and purses. However, some of the store help were a bit rude and standoffish. (I see Tu below had bad customer service experience also.) When we were purchasing our item, our cashier asked for our full name, address, and phone number. Being wary of companies irresponsibly selling customers' personal information, we declined to give our info and just wanted to pay and go. Our cashier gave us a bit of an attitude over that. When we tried paying with our credit card, she demanded to see multiple forms of identification. Our cc even had our photo on it! So, for their lack of training in professional and high-class customer service, I give them 1 star. But, for giving decent discounts, I'd give them 4 stars. read more

To set the record straight: I am not a Coach person. Continue reading. So maybe that's why I didn't enjoy being pushed around by a tourbusload of tourists at EVERY SINGLE CORNER of the store. Maybe that's why I didn't understand the appeal of the $99 tote that people were literally ripping out of my hand. Maybe that's why I didn't want to buy anything in the store even though I had an additional 20% off coupon Maybe that's why I wasn't into purses with huge logos on them (this is my own opinion, i'm not putting you ladies down). Maybe that's why I didn't want to stay for very long. Maybe that's why read more

Went today. Found an amazing bag $698 for less than $200. Score! Plus' all of the staff are very nice!

ok... when you go here be ready to shop. I consider this store to be a hit and miss on their sales! Sometimes they have very nice stuff for very very reasonable prices! Other times...just the normal stuff. However I must tell you, the best time to go shopping here is very early on the weekends or very late on a weekdays. I made the mistake of going last satruday when I had a 20% additional discount coupon and I must say...It was a zoo in there! Here is the catch, even though it was a zoo, the staff was still very very friendly, the stock boys were on a roll making sure everything was restocked and that is what amazes me... even though the places was a mess the staff kept it together! read more

It's like finding a needle in a haystack here in my opinion. I am not a huge fan of the print and the tacky colored bags. I used to like Coach quite a bit but I have moved on to different brands such as Vuitton, Burberry, or Chanel as I prefer more timeless bags with quality leather. However, if I pass by here I sometimes stop by here I'll go in to see if I can find something good. I look to see if I can find a classy leather bag or something that is a little bit different that isn't a print. I think a lot of these things are made especially for the outlet possibly because they aren't made as well as other bags and they don't really look as nice as Coach used to make.. They are all very weird patterns, shapes, and very bizarre colors. Perhaps it is just because my taste has changed. Don't bother coming here on a weekend because the place is crazy busy and it is really hard to look around because the place is mobbed with people. Sometimes people have 10 to 15 purses in their hand which is crazy! Most likely it is for resale. Also the line can get very long and the wait time can take forever. It's probably best to come on a weekday if possible. I haven't shopped here in a very long time so I haven't seen what they have offered lately but I have received several coupons for the outlet in my e-mail and in the snail mail from them for extra discounts. read more

I stop by here every time I'm in the area which is on the average once a month. I like checking out the new styles of merchandise and the great deals you can get. If, you lucky the day you visit, Coach offers an additional 20% the entire purchase. You can get a full size purse or tote for about $100 or less, which regularly cost $329 or more. When I need a birthday present for any of my girlfriends I usually come by here to pick up a few purses. This store is crowded and a mad house on the weekends. The lines are huge, but be patience...it's worth the wait to save a few hundred dollars. read more

Helpful people super nice floor space great selection and they really are discounted prices over like Macy's they are cheaper than what you can buy online here and if you don't go on a super busy weekend like right now you have all the help in the world and there's no lines no crowds just great deals won't mess with this place on Black Friday anymore just too long of lines and weights and security and I get that because these are high-ticket items and I'm sure people are stealing them but if you go on the off times there are great deals great service a really fun way to spend the afternoon and get some cool stuff for less money read more

Get here early before the crowds! I like how they always have coupons and the staff is very friendly. Well Lit. Good place to buy your coach items. When I want to splurge on a gift for myself or need a birthday gift, Coach is where I go to find good deals on good quality purses. You will find great deals on purses, shoes, accessories, and clothing. Sale staff is helpful to find items if they aren't displayed or you need more than one. I had to buy 10 wristlets for my girlfriends bridal party and they were more than happy to call me to let me know when more was coming it. Even transferred some from other Coach outlet stores. The store itself is a bit chaotic. The store is always packed and busy on the weekends. This place always seems to be a madhouse! I got there at 11 AM on a Saturday and it was already packed inside! I just needed to exchange a gift that I got, but it was so hard to find something in exchange. I never really find any handbags here that I like. Either I don't like the patterns or the quality of the leather is terrible. The accessories are more pleasant: wallets, wristlets, cosmetic cases, etc. but they're not items that you need multiples of so I usually don't buy anything. For some reason, people seem to love this place and hoard a bunch of items here. Lines are always long. When I first came here, I thought most of the people who shopped here were tourists loading up on a whole bunch of stuff, but now I noticed that most of the people are locals. The items here are cheap as many of the items are often sold at an additional discount. Most of the employees are friendly with an exception of a few, who tend to think that they're "cool" for working there. I bet this store makes more money than their regular stores. read more

This place was just OK. It was hot in Gilroy. Hotter in the parking lots. And hottest in the damned store. I was going delirious in here, but it probably have to do mostly with the annoying ass customer service people and the heat. This is one of my favorite stores at Gilroy. During the holiday weekends they have good discounts. There's an additional discount on top of the markdown and sometimes an additional 10-15% off for the store special. I always find something I like. The best deals are on the non-logo leather goods. If you're looking for the logo "c" items, I recommend showing up early. The good stuff is always gone by the afternoon. It gets hot during the summer and it gets hot and stuffy in the store with all the ladies. It's like a competition. I've seen ladies grab 4-5 items at a time, like the bags are free. I dread waiting in the long lines but at the end it's all worth it. The cashiers work pretty fast. I always ask for the dust covers at the counter and most of the time they have it. read more

The store has a nice selection of items and the best discounts are right after New Year's. The discounts suck the rest of the year. I still like to come to browse maybe once every 3 months when I'm in the area. There is something about their customer service that I just do not care for. The main manager of the store is nice enough but the check out clerks could use some manners. I don't expect to have my ass kissed, but there is no need for the snotty attitudes (hello, I just dropped 5 C notes on purchases, you could at least say "thank you."). The clerks seem to have a hard time being genuine when they say "hello" and they don't like to make eye contact. But they do like chatting with each other instead of chatting with the customer. read more

If you like Coach, purses and discounts this is a place to check out. I have gotten a few purses from here in the past. Currently they have some special limited edition Disney x Coach bags and accessories. Even though they're discounted, they still seem expensive for what you get. I am a Disney fan and somewhat of a Coach fan. You're paying for the 2 names though. Everything in the store is discounted from retail price, some being clearance priced below 50% retail. Selection changes and varies because it is an outlet. The staff for the most part is friendly. I almost got a purse on this last visit, but felt deceived and ended up not getting anything. The purse was blue leather and well priced, but the one thing that caught my eye was a matching blue embellished lightning bolt bag charm. I had noticed none of the other bags had one, but it was also the only blue one hanging. The only tag was a tiny one inside of the bag that said "$80.00" but I don't think it went with the purse. The purse was $89 on sale. As I was getting rung up, they asked if I wanted the $25 keychain because it wasn't included. They said they put it on the bag to "enhance it" but I think that's very misleading. The keychain didn't even have a separate price tag or anything to indicate it was a separate piece. It made me rethink the purchase and ultimiately I left without it. read more

Gilroy Coach outlet Saturday after Thanksgiving, long line of folks waited to enter. My wife and my other 2 boys lined up, I took my 3 year old to wee-wee and pick up a snack. When my 3 year old and I got back to Coach, wife and other 2 boys had already entered the store. 3 year old sees mom through the glass doors and I see her with 3 bags slung over her shoulder in full shopping mode. Off the right of the door I see my other 2 boys sitting down inside the waiting area by themselves. There are empty seats in the waiting area.. My 3 year old yells "momma" and wants to go in and the rep tells me "he (my 3year old) can enter, but I can't let you in" because my wife did not notify her that I was coming. It's ok - no argument, no problem, as I like peoplewatching and stood outside with my 3 year old. Also, I'm not too crazy about that "Coach leather smell", which is probably a heavenly scent to many. About 15 minutes go by and my 3 year old becomes restless and wants to join his brothers in the waiting area. I politely ask again if I can go sit down in the waiting area with my boys and she declines. I then ask for the manager and "Linda" comes out and Linda states reiterates the policy (my toddler can enter but not I). I explained to Linda: 1). I am only going in to sit down in the empty bench in the waiting area with my boys, 2). There are empty seats in the waiting area, 3). I am not shopping and taking away anyone's shopping privileges, 4). the 3 year old left unattended in the busy store would either be dangerous (bump or run into someone or get hurt) or would interfere with my wife shopping. None of these points registered with Linda, who kept insisting she cannot allow me into the store because of "policy". At this point, I became frustrated, and asked her for her name in writing and that I'd likely contact the "corporate offices" about this incident. I did not yell, raise my voice, or use profanity. She then stated how "you need to calm down...you are now making demands" and then came the ultimatum veiled threat, ".....or I will call security". Not only did Linda make a very poor robotic decision devoid of any logic or empathy....to compound matters, her idea of resolving a simple situation in which she appears to believe her role to be policewoman enforcer of policy rather than client relations and brand developer, is to call the mall security. Linda did end up allowing me inside the waiting area, but as soon as my 3 year old settle down with my other boys, I waited outside the store - I never wanted to be inside in the first place. I asked the door rep did I really do or say anything to warrant Linda threatening to call security on me? She said "no you didn't" and shrugged her shoulders and gave an expression as to indicate she felt badly about the situation. My wife ended up purchasing a number of items at the store, and when she found out what had happened, she was dumbfounded as to the actions that took place and wanted to return everything she just bought. We ended up keeping the purchase, but Coach Outlet at Gilroy, please be aware that you have someone like Linda represent your brand and operate under the guise of providing quality client service...she doesn't care at all. read more
