They wouldn't let me use my debit card when it wasn't sign after I showed them my id right after she slide my card that when she told me I couldnt use it. So... Recently received an email stating that everything was going to be marked down 50% @ the outlets... What they don't tell you is that they marked the bag that was once $299 to $499... Which brings the price from $299 to $250.. Actual savings = 17%. That won't pay for the gas to get to the outlet. Shady business practices! read more

I love popping by to see what's new and have purchased many great deals! In my opinion, the Gilroy location has the best selection compared the other locations in California, Oregon, and Washington. If you're shopping in the Clearance section it is nearly impossible to find a matching wallet and handbag but it is what it is. The prices are adjusted according to the promotion so don't be fooled in thinking that if you use a 50% off coupon you are paying less than if you had a 30% coupon. There may only be a couple dollars difference, if any and you don't need the coupon they hand you. The promotion is automatically given at the register. If the item you previously purchased is still in stock (within 2 weeks) from the date you purchased it and is now a lower price they will refund the price difference if you have the reciept. They have quantity limits. You can only purchase so many Leather and Signature handbags at one time in a 2 week period. read more

Visited on Sunday, September 9th, afternoon. My first trip to a Coach Outlet store was fun! It was very crowded with lots of foreigners (both men and women) looking for what seemed to be gifts for family/friends back home, but it wasn't overly crowded, I could still move. I was greeted with a 30% off coupon at the door, which was a nice bonus. I found a beautiful leather bag originally priced at $298 which was discounted to $101. I love it! The associates were all attentive and helpful, and pointed me towards the one with the calculator, which was super helpful! I appreciate reading previous reviews about stock not changing much and lines out the door. Luckily for me, this particular day, although crowded, was a breeze to enter, shop, and checkout! I will be checking out other Coach Outlet stores whenever I am near an outlet shopping mall! read more

I suggest you visit this place during weekday mornings, because this place can be a zoo, some people get really crazy for Coach. They have really nice items, and are affordable when they have their take an additional 50% off of already reduced prices. read more

if the store is too crowded, and the lines too long, then re think when you go - mornings during the week are great - no lines, no crowds, plenty of air in the store, the sales help are wonderful, and there is a lot to chose from. i also love the carmel store - the manager is so sweet, i have been going there for years, too. and i love the drive, too - it is so pretty. i have many coach bags and key chains. they are very well made, and the prices at the outlets are fabulous - i have frequently bought purses at the outlets, at incredible prices, store them in their bags, then, a year or 2 or 3+ later, i start to use them -- i have no bags with the C's all over, cause i prefer more plain leather ones. i actually have so many that it really takes a fabulous new one that i do not have already for me to buy it. i have sizes ranging from very small thru large and everything in between. they are so well made they last for so many years -- i love to put them away then use them years later so much----i always get complements on them. remember - if you want to avoid crowds, go during the week, preferably in the morning, like when they first open up. i cannot handle crowds and have never encountered them during the week. i highly recommend going then -- i live in p.g. and go to the carmel outlet frequently.remember--if you love a bag, buy it. if you leave it behind, and go back for it, it may be gone. and if you buy one and change your mind, you can always return it. i worked in retail, selling clothes to women for 5 years, then to men for 5 years, and that it was i would recommend to customers -- i was just in macy's last week in monterey and i loved looking at all the fabulous shoes and bags -- they have a huge selection, much more than the store in santa cruz - that macy's is a joke - their men's department was pitiful. we just cannot shop there. back to bags -- i love all my coach bags - i would not hesitate to recommend the brand -- we girls deserve them - we deserve the best !!! and they certainly are the best -- sincerely, linda beth thompson, in santa cruz and pacific grove read more
