There is always something going on at the Barstow Coach outlet. Hey Guys no more waiting in Women's Coach for your Girlfriend, Fiance, WIfe, Mother etc etc to finish shopping. As of May 2011 there is now a Men's Coach Factory store in the Tanger Outlets! Yeah, yeah, yeah I know what your thinking "I don't want a Coach Murse" but the store actually has allot to offer. Men's wallets, Belts, Shoes, Duffle bags and so forth. They normally run the same discount at the Women's store but with out the crazy Tourist. The worst experience I ever had I went to the men's location they had with my friend. The staff kept following us. Made the experience feel so awkward we couldn't shop at peace. I felt obligated to purchase something so they know we weren't there to steal. And on top of this they were advertising 60% plus 25% off the purchase they refused to give us the 25% extra. I wouldn't be returning here. It was mostly the Asian sells rep who was following us and the Latina who gave us the stink eye every time we turned the corner. read more

This outlet store is awesome. The employees really do care about you. Sometimes they get overrun with tour buses but they make a point to watch for the individual shoppers so that they don't get lost in the rush. I personally thank one of the managers...Michelle. As you walk into the Coach store you are showered with attention. First, someone hands you a coupon, in this case, an extra 30% off. Then you are followed by someone with a calculator so that whatever you look at for more than 20 seconds can be totaled with all your savings including tax. It is impossible not to get what you want immediately here. It is a bit confusing, for instance there were a couple of bags I looked at that would say "500.00", then it's scribbled out and written over with "$450.00", and it's sitting on a clearance shelf that states "50% off" and then I have this 30% off coupon, but I suppose that's why I had my human calculator assigned to me at the door. I left with a bag and a wallet for $140 which I think is pretty good considering it's Coach. Down the way about 2 stores is a Coach Men's, but they also carry Laptop Bags and Luggage, so it's fun to check that out too. As Isabel F. would say, "It's no Chanel, but it'll do." read more

diamonds are girl's best friend. then bags/purses are girl's second best friend. well, i like their leather goods. i went their last week to buy a clutch bag. there are so many different ones that i ended up walking out empty handed because i couldn't make a decision (fickle soul of mine). what i like about this place (on weekdays): -attentive salespersons -fully stock -discount price -clean and organized try avoid going here on the weekends and when you see asian tour buses parked nearby. this place gets really packed with vegas goers and fobby tourists on the weekends. read more

Went today and the associate handed a 15% off coupon if you spend $150. So we started looking. It was in the low 80's today and the store was hot. They had a couple of gaudy portable air units with tubes sticking out. It was tacky. Too hot to shop, so we left. We took our money elsewhere. This has got to be the best Coach outlet there is out there. So many styles and colors. The store was huge swarming with tourists heading towards LV. Definitely worth the stop to check it out! The parking was so huge and empty, it almost felt like a private shopping event. There were other outlets in the same shopping mall. I'm not into labels and RARELY buy ANYTHING that has a label on it, but I stopped into Coach one day last year on my way to work in Barstow and purchased my first Coach purse because I really liked it. It's a large, black leather satchel over the shoulder bag that has metal hardware and I've gotten tons of compliments on it. It was on sale, I think I paid $139.00 and it's a REAL Coach bag. As explained to me by one of the salesgirls most of the purses sold in the outlet stores were made JUST for the outlet stores, they may be "Coach" but they are "outlet Coach." SO BE CAREFUL WHEN SHOPPING at this store or any of the other stores and make sure you are getting a genuine Coach purse that is sold in their regular stores. read more

Don't purchase a Coach watch from the outlet. I know they are made by Movato but the warranty is only a limited one and it's only good for 2 years. I took mine back and the manager said it would probably be cheaper to purchase a new one as opposed to getting mine fixed. Yeah, right!!! The sale is amazing, but the service was terrible! My card would not work in their system and they treated me like a thief. My husband and I have matching cards and we both showed ID, they questioned us as if it were an interrogation. I guess they couldn't believe Black people could shop without stealing. I had to call Amex and prove to them this was my card for them to finally key it in manually. Once Amex verified I wasn't a criminal it was all apologies. Absolutely loved it. Stopped by a few days ago on the way to Vegas and we got such a great deal! They were having some sort of sale, so it was like 40% off, with another 20%, and then another 10% on top of that. We walked out of there with 4 new purses. I absolutely love the one I got. The salespeople were super duper attentive (must work on commission!!) and it's very neat and organized and fabulous! Will definitely stop by again on my way to Vegas. read more

Customer service is great and you will always find a deal. Unfortunately, the tourists make the experience rushed and loud. I came here to pick up some gifts for my staff and did not get to spend as much time as I would have because of pushy and rude tourists. The staff were very accommodating as they could be but it was a cluster of yapping tourists who did not mind stepping on feet and just leaving merchandise wherever they decided they were not going to buy it. And although I decided to just have my parents send me the items, I was disappointed that I could not shop and stay longer. read more

Worst experience! Went to the store with my grandma to find her a new purse. Literally was bombarded with literally 10 pushy salespeople. I had to tell them to leave us alone like 6 different times. Then when we went to pay one of the salespeople who I asked to leave us alone told the cashier that he had helped us. He did not! They need to change the way they help customers! I used to go out of my way so that I make it to this Coach outlet Store in Barstow. But recently I was very disappointed with their customer services. Specially from managers was cold and inattentive, Dion who is one of the manager! This guy never tried to accommodate my request. on 07/07/2013 my husband bought eight bags in this store. the store operator Isabel H assisted him in checking out. all the bags were been put in one large paper bag. My husband paid and brought it to our car. when we got home and took out the bags, we realized there was one bag short. the receipt charged eight bags, but the operator only put seven bags in the large paper bag. it is useless we know if we back store and say we got one bag short because we already left the store. our experience reminds everyone that if you will buy a lot please please count them again in the store. in the front of the operator !!!! read more
