We stopped in for a new bag on the way to lunch for Mother's Day. Gio greeted me by name and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. He knew the size bag I needed and which wallets I already had that I wanted to fit. He really goes out of the way to make you feel special and listen to what you need. Staff could care less about the customer…read more Came in and picked out a couple bags and while the sales associate was very nice and helpful even letting us know of a coupon we could use on any items today. The store tried over-charging us for a bag that was priced differently. The bag had an actual Michael Kors tag at $428.00 they kept ringing it up at $558 claiming it was a "price increase" but that's not what the tag said. Then they brought some sort of plain white price tag out from the back of the store with the "new" price. It wasn't even a Michael Kors tag, just a white piece of paper. Keep in mind the original tag was still attached to the bag, then when the manager agreed to honor the price on the tag the cashier rang us up and we were handing her money to pay another "supervisor" comes up to her and tells her not to honor the coupon we were offered at the store! The transaction was already rung up, the coupon applied to the purchase, and bag already wrapped up and was just waiting for the payment! Needless to say we walked out and as we did I approached the actual store manager and let her know "Hey, you just approved the price override for the tag price and now the "supervisor" won't honor the coupon that was already applied to the transaction. The sales associate said I could use it and it worked fine on the register. If it's not supposed work for certain things, you're responsible for communicating this better and not tell the customer it will work and give the item price with the coupon applied. It's false advertising" she just said have a good day. I Felt deceived and like I just wasted an hour of my time.

We were instantly welcomed by Marcus. He was incredible! He followed us around and was like our own personal shopper. He made suggestions about styles and colors. He even asked what kind of things my daughter liked and then disappeared and reappeared with boxes of shoes she may like. Needless to say we left with wayyyyy more than we came in for but it was worth it. Many other staff member were helpful while we were there but Marcus truly was wonder. I used to manage retail and one thing I can tell you, it's staff like him that are irreplaceable. I seldom visit the Outlets at Barstow, but since they have a NB outlet store, I was on my way here. It's not a very big store, but not small either. I normally don't have a specific model of shoes that I buy. As long as it's NB and it's comfortable, I'm good. I love NB! Before trying on any shoes, I asked one of the staff members if I can return my purchase from here at any NB stores just in case I do. The lady said returns can be made at any NB outlet stores, but it must be an outlet store. Thank you Miss! The lady ended up helping me with my shoe selection. She was very knowledgeable and informative about the shoe I was wearing and what would be a good comparable and/or similar pair for me. I learned that I was wearing the 860 model in men's wide size. I did not know this until now LOL. After a few tries of different styles of shoes, I ended up with a soon to be discontinued 880 model in women's wide size. They had 2 specials at the time... buy one pair of shoes at regular price and get another pair of shoes for 50% off or 30% off shoes that had a yellow sticker. If you know makeup you know that Estée Lauder basically owns a majority of all the makeup brands. They all fall under the Estée Lauder umbrella. Every makeup and skincare item was 40% off. Plus, if you spend a certain amount on certain brands they'll give you a gift with purchase. Forty percent off is insane. My jaw must have dropped to the floor. Please come to the Waikele Premium Outlets. I'll see you every week, lol. Customer service was great. The salesgirl asked if I needed help. I didn't. I know makeup. I sold makeup for seven years at a department store. The only thing was that they were out of certain foundation colors, one of which was my shade. Too bad I couldn't get it. I did pick up a Too Faced liquid matte lipstick, black mascara and black liquid eyeliner. It should have been around $85, but I paid close to $50. Plus, the salesgirl gave me a Jo Malone perfume sample of Wood Sage & Sea Salt, which I already have. I love that scent and it's one of their classics, so I happily accepted.
