If you are going to Vegas or coming back home from Vegas, then you know this place. A bunch of stores smack in the middle of your trip towards Vegas or Hawaii. Plenty of stores, but, more importantly, plenty of food options to eat and take a break before driving the rest of the way to your destination. Passing through from Vegas, we got a $10 gift card from the Welcome Center in front of Bath & Body Works as a supercharging Tesla. Just keep in mind it's one gift card per vehicle. We used our gift card at Bath & Body. Yes we call that winning. There are no food vendors, a major downside for these Outlets, unless you count the vending machines along the sidewalks. Don't go here thinking there is food because there isn't. An epic shortcoming compared to Livermore, Tejon Ranch and Gilroy Outlets, especially with the desert climate. To be fair, there is food at shopping centers nearby, but not specifically at the Outlets. You heading here, you're here to shop the Outlet deals only. GETTING HERE: Located off I-15 in Barstow, California. REVIEW: Over the years, I have stopped here a few times and I always think that there's got to be more here. I feel like I must be missing something, right? While there are a lot of stores (Coach, Tumi, Crocs, etc.) I really expected the footprint to be much larger. That's not a bad thing, just my observation. Overall, I would recommend a stop here, if nothing else to walk around to take a stretch break. if you're heading to/from Vegas. They have a huge parking area, so that shouldn't be an issue. And if luck is on your side, you might be able to find a good deal or two. I've never come across a food court of sorts, but near the property there are a variety of fast food restaurants. read more

These outlets have been here for as long as I can remember. It's located off the 15 freeway exiting Lenwood. Perfect stop if you're on a road trip and in need of stretching your legs. There's shopping and dining in the outlets and outside the plaza. My family and I like to walk around and grab a quick bite before heading back on the road. This is also the perfect time to take a bathroom break. They're usually busier on the weekends, especially Fridays and Sundays. read more

Outlets at Barstow was a great place to stop to do some shopping. With around 35 retail stores there is something for the whole family. We had a great experience shopping at the Nike factory l, Ralph Lauren polo, Bath & body Works, vans store and Tommy Hilfiger. They also have several eateries in the surrounding area. Ok four and a half stars! We love stopping here because you can score some deals! You always think "do I want to go before Vegas when I have money or do I want to go on the way back and I potentially left all my money in Vegas?" We went into the Adidas store and they had a 60% off sale, we went to SunglassHut however and the prices looked higher than online. You have to look and it might take some time but the deals are there! I got two pairs of shoes and two shirts for under $200 at the ASICS store, I bought a $100 sweater for $40 at the adidas store also. Apparently tour buses bring tourists here because this is the first time I've seen it so crowded. There were cops hanging out in the huge parking lot so it felt fairly safe and I don't know how many stores are here but there's a huge selection! Maybe google it before you go to see which stores are there ;) VIBE: ROAM! There's a couple of upscale stores here and, who knows, maybe it's not the latest stuff but you've got to go on the hunt to find what you want. I was looking for some RayBans PRICES: Can vary. You can find fantastic deals or pay a premium it just depends on what's on sale or maybe the time of year PARKING: You can probably fit 10 football fields in the parking lot. It's a huge oval with parking in the middle and the stores around the perimeter RECOMMEND: Yes, it's always worth a look! You might leave with everything you've ever wanted or just find a couple of deals. Also there's several clean bathrooms that you can hit as a bonus! Nadine and I stopped by this outlet on our drive to LA from LV. It's on the outskirts of California. It's an outdoor outlet and it was hot. They have a lot of stores. They have the usual Coach, Nike, Levi's and Crocs that are at most outlets. It seems like we hit up every outlet on this trip to Nevada and California. I thought that pricing at all the outlets were standard. I was wrong. At some stores like Coach the prices were the same no matter what outlet we were at. However, Nike was cheaper here than at the other outlets. They have a visitors center where you can claim your prize after playing the Spin the Wheel game online. Nadine won a OAB tote and I won a body spray from Bath & Body. You can also get additional coupons at the California Welcome Center, so stop by here first. They have a few places where you can get photo ops. I took one inside the pink Barbie box and in front of the Route 66 mural. read more

Shopping in Barstow, California... I've stopped by the Outlets at Barstow (OAB) once before... in 2018. This time, Angel and I did the drive between Las Vegas and Los Angeles on 9-12-23. Outlets at Barstow is just about the mid-way point between the two cities (Vegas and LA) and is a great rest stop! The clean, convenient restrooms and free parking were much appreciated! The misting system above, at the edge of the sidewalks, was a nice solution to the 98°F heat. Inside each shop of the outdoor mall, the air conditioning is wonderful! We stopped in at many stores, including COACH, Nike, Kate Spade, and The Cosmetics Company. We received some great deals and friendly service! We both had played the Spin The Wheel game online. Angel won a Bath & Body Works spray, and I got a free OAB tote bag. We had a code from our emails that we showed to the receptionist at Customer Service inside of the California Welcome Center building. Thank you! We also enjoyed the Barbie Box (Angel went inside the box), where we took some photos. We found the Route 66 mural for the opportunity to win a $50 gift card when posting on social media! Whenever I drive up to and from Las Vegas on Fwy 15, I would always see the World Famous Outlets at Barstow. However, I rarely exit the freeway and go check out the stores. And there's a reason why. I'm not a big name brand shopper unless it's for New Balance (NB) shoes LOL. I drove up here yesterday just for NB and I wasn't even going to Las Vegas. I got the NB shoes that was meant for me. Thank you NB! I did drive around the lot just to see what name brand factory or outlet stores are here. Besides NB, I saw Columbia, Skechers, Nike, Guess, COACH, Old Navy, Levi's, Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, Polo Ralph Lauren, Van's, Lacoste, Samsonite, TUMI, Claire's, Kate Spade, BOSS, Swarovski, Calvin Klein, adidas, Crocs, Lids, Volcom, O'Neill, Sunglass Hut, Bath & Body Works, ECCO, ASICS, and Tesla Supercharger. I think I got them all. I may have missed a few. So as you can see, this outlet has a vast variety of different stores that meets your needs from head to toe such as hats, sunglasses, accessories, clothing, shoes, body care, travel care, and more. They even have a California Welcome Center. Cool! Btw, lots of free parking available. They may have restrooms for use. I just didn't see them. The only thing it doesn't have is food care unless I missed the food court LOL. However, don't fret. From time to time, we stop by the Outlets at Barstow. It is not a destination for us, but it is a nice place to stop on your way to or from Las Vegas to Los Angeles. It is an outdoor outlet mall with a decent selection of stores. If you need a stretch break and have some time to kill, then I suggest stopping here. You may find some good deals if you are lucky. It's a great place to shop when passing through from CA. to Las Vegas or vice versa. Service is a hit or miss, depending on the store. Some things are a deal and others don't really seem like anything great to me; just depends on what you are looking for. I did find a great sale at the DKNY store and received great service there. It's often crowded and the restrooms aren't always the cleanest. It is outdoors so be prepared for heat in the summer. read more

Nice stop on the way to/from Vegas if you didn't get your fill of shopping. On the smaller side compared to the larger outlets in Vegas or in the CA desert, though a decent collection of shops. Since the tax is a bit cheaper out here, that's really the only draw due to the limited amount of stores, unless they have one you'd typically frequent. The restrooms are typically clean and as long as there are not multiple tour buses at the time you arrive, pretty relaxed atmosphere and you can walk from end to end in maybe an hr with quite a few stops at stores. Hopefully this outlet location stays open with a full selection of stores and doesn't go the way of the Primm outlets. read more

New balance customer service was horrible. We went to purchase shoes for my granddaughter off of the clearance rack and it was buy one get one half off. They told us that that was incorrect. The signs were in the wrong place. We told them, but it's a stack of shoes behind each display they told us there's nothing they could do about it spoke with the manager. She was just as rude. Her name was Samantha. They were talking about us through the headphones and laughing and I told them I was going to call corporate and they just laughed at that. We visited the Outlets at Barstow during a pitstop on our roadtrip. I was so happy to see the Barbie box so we definitely took photos in the box! Hahaha as we didn't see a Barbie box at two of the theatres that we went to. The weather was freaking hot and humid at the time. Not pleasant, but the stores felt so nice and cool with their AC. Haha... We didn't get to spend a lot of time here as it was just a short stop, but there were plenty of nice stores from what I saw when I was there. read more

I have passed by the outlets at Barstow many times heading up the 15 freeway. This time I did a pit stop and visited a few stores. I was expecting more varieties of apparel and accessories but selections were limited. Maybe there's more of a selection at different times of the year but I probably would choose to save my time. read more

Sales were not good. Not much selection for shopping or eating. But there's a huge lot for Tesla superchargers. There's also a row of just Tesla chargers but we weren't sure how that works. There's also shade at the superchargers so it was nice. The restrooms and the shops are right next to the superchargers so it was the perfect rest stop for us. read more

We were able to find some really great deals this past weekend. They did have a good selection of items I was looking for. I was able to buy something out of 5 different stores which was pretty good. I also was glad I have coupons for a few stores I shopped at and got even better prices. Every stores I shopped at had great employees with wonderful customer service. read more

ECCO STORE AT OUTLETS BARSTOW. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. RUDE BEYOND BELIEF. I wouldn't even know how to begin. I am so frustrated. We don't expect to be treated like a king walking into a store but I hope that they would at least wouldn't chase you out to continue yelling at you. Mind you its customer service, the customer isn't always right but in no way should you be yelling at a customer OR STARTING AN ARGUMENT WITH THEM. My parents wanted to buy some shoes. The employee overheard their conversation and then made the wrong assumption and proceeded to yell at them. Saying if its ugly you don't need to buy it. even went as far as to chase them outside of the store to continue yelling. ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. when I called to get the name of the employee I was told that they would not give me any personal information. I couldn't even get the name of the person on the phone. They said why? They were rude off the bat. I wanted to know who I was speaking to. I didn't know that people were so rude on the phone to begin with. I was courteous to start but less and less so as the conversation went on. It wasn't even the person that I had a complaint against. They told me you can complain and give a description and they will figure it out. What type of customer service is this? Rude beyond belief and then also said that I was rude. I asked do you not wear name tags? Wouldn't you want to be called by name or should I call you person. They told me I could call them ma'am. Wow. Just wow. No point in going to this store. We came here to take a break from our drive but when we saw they had absolutely no food or drink places, we left immediately. Who designs a shopping area with no restaurant? They have a huge Tesla and EV charging station but there's another one about a mile away near food. So take your pick - shop or food? You can't have both at the same time. read more

Good place to stop to charge your Tesla. Bathroom is close to the charging area. We stopped by the croc store and bought 2 pairs of kids crocs for buy one get one 25% off and 5 charms for buy 4 get 1 free. Total was $109 so it didn't really feel like a discount at the outlet. read more

We stopped by the World Famous Outlets at Barstow. There food options could use work and I wish it wasn't just one side. The outlet itself is not relatively too large as it is a U shape. They have all the regulars and the staff for the most part are very nice and not pushy. Plenty of parking and a good shopping place before you head to LA or Vegas. read more
